Best version, by far, I've ever heard! You felt this one deeply, you'll feel that one too, for sure! It's about the way the use the arrangement and their voices to enhance the messing of the song. Completely unique compared too all other versions I've heard. In fact, I've never felt this song on my heart and soul into I heard Home Free's.
When I played this for my 6 year old grandson, about halfway through it, he said, "I don't know why, but I feel like I'm gonna cry". I told him that some things are so beautiful that they can make you cry. And this song is that beautiful.
This brought a memory and an tear. Thank you for sharing this. I feel sorry for the people who don't have the ability to feel music. Most listen, some hear and too few actually feel.
Deep Fried Home Fry here! Home Free's Christmas catalog is immense and wonderful. You're in for a great ride! "Do You Hear What I Hear" (arranged by the beat boxer "freak of nature" Adam Rupp and filmed just a few miles from my home in Eden Prairie, MN in -20F weather) is fabulous. Their recent "Mary Did You Know" is equally mesmerizing for entirely different reasons. An older one that never fails to bring tears to my eyes is "I'll Be Home For Christmas". I find the difference with Home Free is they focus on the song', its message and content rather than individual members' promotion. They care about making a connection with their audiences. There are other groups where the predominant vibe I get is "look at us and what we can do" where Home Free says "let us share this wonderful song and the joy it brings us with you". Keep the Home Free home fires burnin'!
If you want to see it all, drum kit, harmonies, highs and lows, you need to check out Do you hear what I hear. Absolutely the best version of this Christmas song EVER!
One of my two favorite songs...."Do you hear what I hear" from HF and "My Favorite Things" from PTX. Also, runner up is "Children go where I send Thee" with HF featuring Kenny Rodgers.
This is my favorite Christmas song and I've never heard this arrangement before. So beautiful! Your reaction made it even more special. It's like listening with friends.
Tim the bass has blown speakers during concerts he goes so low. Anything by Home Free is simply amazing!!! Their harmonies on Helplessly Hoping are incredible. Down To The Honky-tonk is great for some bass drop from Tim.
This sing is a deeply worshipful, beautiful song. They make it so respectful and meaningful, because it's so simply done. It really is an act of worship singing about our Savior's birth. I am glad you chose a song about the true reason for this season!!
Yes, it is a blessing to hear them sing this praise to the birth of our Lord. Suggest to you their "Oh Beautiful Star of Bethlehem", sung with the Oak Ridge Boys.
Tim Foust is the bass, and started the song! He’s actually got incredible range, and is just amazing! To me, this is just the epitome of Christmas, just pure, beautiful voices raised in song and praise to Jesus Christ. No fuss, no fanfare, just beautiful voices!
Welcome to Home Fry Nation! I have to absolutely agree, Home Free can make an ordinary song sound heavenly. Have you heard their rendition of Do You Hear What I Hear yet? Check it out. The video is so amazing, for both the ears and eyes!
I suggest HF “Angels We Have Heard On High”… the arrangement is stunning. Also , seconding the suggestions for “Do You Hear What I Hear”, arrangement by vocal percussionist Adam Rupp), and new releases “Mary Did You Know” and “Go Tell it On the Mountain”. And, Tim, the bass, is from Texas.
Their harmonies are so beautiful. You really must check out their version of "How Great Thou Art"- brings tears to my eyes each and every time. You said it perfectly, I too, feel blessed each time I hear them sing.
Hey Rob & Mrs Rob YOU GUYS ARE DEFINITELY HOME FRIES !!! Home Free released 2 Christmas songs last week....1st was a very church/Gospel tak on "Go tell it on the Mountain" then on Friday they released "Mary did you know? with a very subtle R&B rythym that will knock your socks off. Both very different but both incredible, Go tell it will leave you with a smile and Mary did you know will have you praisimg the birth of our Savior !!!! Spread them out before Christmas YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED....2021 has been Home Free's most creative year by far
If you love ‘Home Free’ then the collaboration between ‘Home Free’ and ‘Texas Hill’ singing ‘Go Tell it on the Mountain’ will blow your minds!! ❤️❤️❤️ It is such an explosion of talent!!! Please, please, please react on this song!!
Thank you guys for the special comments about Home Free!😊 To me, the other 3 main a capella groups are fantastic, but Home Free has that extra "something" that I can't describe.🤔 Tim Foust (the bass singer with the 5+ octave range, who started out the song) is from Southeast Texas. Austin Brown, the high tenor, is from Tifton, GA. The other three in THIS video are all from Minnesota. In the videos after 2016, the NEW guy who replaced the one with the cowboy hat, Chris Rupp (co founder with his beat boxing brother, Adam) is Adam Chance whom they just call "Chance" to avoid confusion with the 2 Adams & Chance is from South Alabama! Just wait until you react to Home Free's new "Mary, Did You Know"? It is the most incredible version of the song that I've ever heard!😇🤗🎄
Their Christmas collab with Kenny Rogers, Children Go Where I Send Thee is gospel/ R&B and Do You Hear What I Hear was arranged by their beatboxer and is next level. Your girls would enjoy their silly version of Grandma Got Runn Over By A Reindeer
When Home Free goes into 5 part harmony it’s sent straight from the heavens! They have several beautiful Christmas songs but some funny ones too! Try Full Of Cheer or Snow Globe For after Christmas. Both of these are originals. So Amber, the high note you loved was from Austin Brown. He also made you melt in When a Man Loves a Woman. You should learn their names cuz they do watch these reaction channels and have been known to comment!
So many great Christmas options for Home Free! But please please please make sure you do their version of Auld Lang Syne for New Year's Eve too! (Just putting it out there well in advance to get it on the radar.) Love the reaction as always!
Home Free do take notice of reactors and have said how grateful they are to them for bringing their music to a wider audience. This is quite an old video and I think they've just gone on getting more amazing every year. Check out "Brothers in Arms" for another deeply emotional song and another burst of angelic voices. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely children.
They are anointed by the Holy Ghost. We are blessed to listen to this absolute beauty in song. They have genuine hearts and that shines through. Loved the song and reaction. Merry Christmas. Cheers from Canada
I love men’s voices in worship, it is so the most beautiful I ever heard, they are MAN enough to put out, they remind me of my dad and his friends thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for this. This is one of my favorite Christmas songs and Home Free does the best rendition. Next is Home Free reactions to Do You Hear What I Hear, PLEASE. Thanks again guys 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏
First lead Tim Foust - bass is from So. Texas, next to him Austin Brown - high tenor is from Tifton, Georgia, glasses and beard is Rob Lunquist - second tenor, next to him is Adam Rupp - beatboxer and next to him is Chris Rupp - baritone. Adam and Chris are brothers from Minnesota, they started the group in early 2000. Chris left in 2017 and chose Adam Chance (Chance) as his replacement who is also a baritone.
I have been listening to and singing accapella with various choirs and groups for 50 + years, and have not ever heard a group of singers that in any way, shape or form equals Home Free. They are truly the 'gold standard' in this type of vocal music.
I totally agree with you that they are so special. They connect me with the spirit of God with this song. Love it. I love them and have since the beginning.
You need to watch "Snow Globe" which is an original song by Home Free and written by Tim Foust, the bassist. Tim by the way is from south east Texas, Austin, the high tenor is from Georgia, Chance, the baritone is from Alabama, Rob, the tenor is from Minnesota, and Adam, the beat boxer is from Minnesota also.
@@briansigulinsky2512 I believe we're both right. I was talking about this song but Chance was actually the one in Snow Globe. Merry Christmas my friend.
"do you hear what I hear" by home free is amazing, best Christmas song they have. More recently "Mary did you know" is unbelievable. I have listened to just about every song Homefree has released and can honestly say, everyone is incredible. Even if you don't react to them on your channel, you owe it to yourself to listen to their music. Homefree Is by far the best vocal group to come along in decades. Keep up the good work you two do. Never lose that Amber sway.
The second singer is Austin Brown (high tenor) who was the main/lead singer in Man of Constant Sorrow and When A Man Loves A Woman. The first singer is Tim Foust (amazing bass). Behind Tim is Rob Lundquist (beard, glasses and tenor). Next to Rob is Adam Rupp (beatboxer) and in the hat is Chris Rupp (left in, I believe, 2016). Adam and his brother Chris formed the HF group. They are amazing singers as a group, but just as fantastic as solo performers. They all have beautiful voices! Adam Chance (known as Chance, the baritone but can sing bass) joined the group when Chris left.
Thank y’all for reviewing this. It is an aural masterpiece. Just sublime. Has been a favorite for years. Now you should check out Do you hear what I hear? and Mary did you know.
I love the reactions of you two. Watching you watch each other is so enjoyable also. Thanks for loving Home Free as much as I do. I believe they are a class act!!
You should also check out their funnier ones. " Full of Cheer", " Cold Hard Cash", and " Grandma got Runover by a Reindeer". All the others listed below. Enjoy
I'm sure your kids would enjoy Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer by Home Free you guys would like cold Hard Cash which is it original buy them and pulled a chair is another original Christmas song
There is nothing like Home Free! They are my favorite of all time too! I love watching you two react to them. I’ve watched your reaction to “When A Man Loves A Woman” several times. You just made my day with that one. I knew then, you were a Home Fry for life.🐝🤗❤️
Another really great Christmas song from Home Free is "DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR". Check out the low note that Tim Foust hits. You actually feel it more than hear it.
As long as I can remember, this has been my favorite Christmas song. It embodies the true meaning and Home Free did an amazing job. You should also give their cover of Do You Hear What I Hear, a listen to. And for your girls, Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer by Home Free. Such a fun song. Pentatonix does a wonderful job with Mary did You know.
"Silent Night" performed by Mahalia Jackson is my favourite Christmas song ever. You should do this on female friday, you will love it! Please do the studio vesion, it will let shine her beautiful voice
Another one of theirs I really like is One Man Band. They all trade off the lead, and you get to see/hear Tim and Austin in the 'opposite' ends of their ranges.
TIM FOUST, is from SOUTHEAST TEXAS and proud of it. He has been with the group since it was formed. He has a 5 octave range and his tenor is as fantastic as is his bass. He usually sings bass, and can he forever go deep, but his tenor is absolutely beautiful! If you haven't heard "BROTHERS AT ARMS", "MARY, DID YOU KNOW", and "SNOWGLOBE", then you should give these a try! Also, "DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR" is phenomenol! BUT, every song that these guys sing is basically OUT OF THIS WORLD! I AM A SUBSCRIBER AND ALWAYS LOVE YOUR REACTIONS! You got me hooked when you were covering ELVIS! THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE GLOWING RECOMENDATIONS THAT YOU GIVE MY GUYS, HOMEFREE!
Shared your video with 'Home Free', 'Austin Brown' the tenor, and a 'Tim Foust' connection, the base. Hoping they will see it! Awesome video, I too get chills every time and tears, it's so beautiful !!!
Regardless of how beautiful this song, and this rendition is, its amazing to see how humble and sweet you two are! It truly brings joy to the world! Keep it up you two! Love from Sweden!
Thank you for that today. We are all so.lucky of have this multi talented voices in our time now. Home Fries all the way. This will be a fun Christmas, hang on.
This Song gives me such an Heavenly - Angelic Feeling! Jordan & Amber-- they gave me those chills Too. it's Like It Really took me to Church. THANKS For Getting back To Some 'Home Free.' Really Enjoy y'all's channel It's Been Such a Blessing. Thanks, it has meant so much.❤️
Pentatonix's cover of 'Mary Did You Know' is so so beautiful, and I love the way the video is shot. I'm not religious in the least and I feel the love and inspiration expressed in it.
Y'all GOTTA hear their version of "Ring Of Fire" by Johnny Cash! As far as Christmas songs, PLEASE do some Pentatonix stuff. "Mary Did You Know", Little Drummer Boy", and "Hallelujah" are must listens. Also, would you react to "The 12 Days of Christmas" by a group called Straight No Chaser? It's amazing, funny, and another must-listen.
I say again, Home Free, “Mary Did You Know”… you will not regret it.
My favorite Christmas song!
Sorry... Mark Lowry singing Mary Did You Know with Voctives backing him up is the best! Also, Mark is the actual writer of Mary Did You Know
Definitely need to check that out. Such an amazing song!!
Most definitely Mary Did You Know!!

Their harmony takes you to heaven in the purest sense. When the only emotion you feel is the love of God. Thank you for sharing this moment with us.

Most listen, some hear and too few actually feel.
Awww what a precious grandson
That is adorable. 🤍
The Birth of Christ, I gift given to us that must be received and accepted.
Gave me chills, too!!!!!
They do that to a person, their version of How Great Thou Art does that to me every time I hear it.
If you liked this one, you gotta listen to their newest drop of Mary Did You Know. It has an R&B vibe and it’s fabulous.
Play the one by Pentatonix...it's better
Yes!! Please listen to their version of "Mary Did You Know"!!❤
You are absolutely right, Pentatonix is much better
Actually, none can match Voctives with Mark Lowry. Mark wrote Mary Did You Know and him singing it with Voctive backing him up is beyond AMAZING!
Love Home Free's version... hope you'll check it out!

The most emotional song they’ve released in the last few weeks is “Brothers In Arms” it will definitely give you goosebumps.
Cover originally by Dire Straits
Oh goodness yes, for Brothers In Arms. Talk about transporting harmonies, it is so so good. Also leads by Chance and Tim.
Their version of (Amazing Grace) is special.
omg have you heard Celtic Thunder sing Brothers in Arms? They're Irish. Amazing!
Don’t think you can beat the Dire Straits original of Brothers in Arms. It’s haunting.
Home Free is absolutely the BEST A'capella group out there....
They are right there with Pentatonix. Both equally UNREAL!
I’m so glad you’re coming back to Home Free again. Do You Hear What I Hear is another Christmas classic they sing. It’s amazing too!
Home Free's version of O Holy Night is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes.

I agree. The beatboxing is exceptional, and the harmonies just makes you want to learn to sing (And beatbox)
That’s what I was going to say and the setting is fabulous!
The best!!!!!

What a lovely welcome to a group for me. :)
I heard Home Free singing "Mary Did YOu Know" on the radio today. It was STUNNING! You should find it and give it a listen. Absolutely stunning.
DO they have a Christmas album? I want it NOW and it's October second
Guys listen....if you like this please listen to Home Free's cover of "Mary Did You Know?". It is absolutely amazing.
You'd love their version of "How Great Thou Art." It will bring tears to your eyes.

Watching you two respond to this gave me goose bumps. Another beautiful song is Home Free "do you hear what I hear".
You have to listen them do "Do you hear what I hear". Adam's percussion along with the harmonies are Christmas gifts to everyone!
Total AWESOMENESS!! Bravo!! Love them!! Thank you!! 🙂💜
One you shouldn’t miss is “Oh Holy Night” by David Phelps live. It will definitely blow you away.
Can't be better than this version.
David Phelps does my very favorite version of O Holy Night. It will blow you away! ruclips.net/video/ElJ0fiD0lkc/видео.html
It made me cry, because my dad who died in 2006 was in the church choir, and they used to sing this. I love you guys so much!
There is something about Christmas and Acapella that just sounds so good. Please, please, please try Pentatonix "Mary did you know".
This is how I discovered Home Free several years ago, and have been in love ever since! Happy Holidays!
Regardless of how beautiful this song, and this rendition is, its amazing to see how humble and sweet you two are! It truly brings joy to the world! Keep it up you two! Love from Sweden!

Pentatonix is known for their a cappella Christmas songs. By far my favorite is “Mary Did You Know?”
I totally agree.

Isn't this the most gorgeous version ever? "Do you Hear What I Hear," "Angels we have Heard on High," "Brothers in Arms" and "Auld Lang Syne."

Don't forget Pentatonix - give Mary Did You Know a listen, or their newer one, The Prayer - incredible! And YES - Home Free is also AMAZING!
The Prayer is a thing of beauty. Goosebumps from beginning to end.
Pentatonix's cover of 'Mary Did You Know' is so so beautiful, and I love the way the video is shot. I'm not religious in the least and I feel the love and inspiration expressed in it.
I couldnt agree more!! A definite must react!
PTX also covers this one as well. I need a PTX/HF Christmas song soon lol!!! They are friends!
Also can't forget Voiceplay as well
Take me to church ❤️.... they’re voices are beautiful, and this is one of my favorite Christmas songs.
Pentatonic Little drummer boy is a MUST
Thanks for your time. Home Free has so many good ones. Do you hear what I hear is a must from them.
