Love snow. Love it! Live along I-95 corridor, a touch south and west of Philly. My mental health NEEDS a snow storm that finally, FINALLY traps us inside for a couple of days, watching snow fall at a steady clip. I hope this storm gets nudged into a snow-friendly track for us. Thanks for this update, my Maine friends!
Nice to have find someone who have New-Brunswick(Canada) on there map...lol... Our own Canadian always skip from Quebec to N-S and NFL never talk about our weather. Even if you are in the U-S your close enough so we can guess what we can see for our side and be prepared....I subscribed to see if it will help us more if big storm get to us here. Tks youfor showing us on your weather map!
I know here in the Adirondacks the snowmobilers are dying for snow. Our winters have become thin with big snows. We usually get crazy lake effect and it’s been non existent this year so far. It will be interesting to see if these 2 storms set up or not. Thank you for sharing.
Would recommend making the symbol for the Low systems smaller and transparent. They're covering 75% of the Northeast here you can't see what's going on.
So 2-3 out of 10 are looking for snow... the rest of us can't afford to move or afford to support homes in 2 states and be snowbirds... but thanks for the warning... 👍✌
I truly enjoy following these storms and this was a great explanation of a potentially complex beast for the northeast. I wonder what they’re doing on Hilton Head Island? How boring for them (sarcasm).
I think the east is in for a snowy winter. When the west doesn't have snow, it seems like the weather is south and can track up the east coast. Colorado needs snow!
My 1st winter in far northern Maine (Houlton) where I now reside (last winter was 1979 - 1980 when I was going to college at UMPI) 43 years and no snow! I remember walking to classes in what was a maze of snow, and it was cold - I walked everywhere back then. This year we had snow for Halloween and then it all got rained away. Definite climate change, 100% - I used to live up here back then. I moved back to live near my sister’s kids whom I helped raise - I so love my family. I also love snow, I love weather, and meteorology, but my first love is psychology. I'm going for my master's to keep myself busy in my youth haha! Never too old or too late to finish something you love!
I'll believe it when I see it. I have a week-at-a-glance forecaster here in the Midwest and there isn't one day for the next week that stays below 32'F.
I would say New York City late next Sunday into Monday definitely could get around 4 to 6 in easily. The next one is going to be a cutter and probably Way West than what is depicting now what I call a Torcher. Warm rain heavy what could have been type scenario. I'm telling you worst case scenario for New York in this upcoming storm Sunday afternoon to Monday least is 4 to 6 I can definitely see it overachieving and definitely getting six to eight don't see much more than that. But compared to what we got last year in New York City Beggars can't be choosers!
@@easternyellowjacket276 the second one will definitely be rain but I think the first one we might get lucky. Then again if it's going to be two or three inches like a small amount I'd rather just be rain. Something tells me it will link up, second one I'm not even looking at it's definitely going to be a cutter that love will be probably in Western Pennsylvania by the time all is said and done.
I just watched your video and it seems like you only care about the east coast is any of that snow going to hit the central United States before it goes east why don't you talk about that
Accuweather says this weekend in Central Ilinois we might get some light sprinkle, but it will be 40'F so it won't stay on the ground long. Just BARELY cold enough. It will be cool to see though! We haven't seen any at all so far.
YOU GUYS ARE WAY O F F ITS GOING TO BE THE WARMEST EVER RECORDED IN JAN & FEB 51 TO 63 FROM MED TO THE NORTH EAST THE WARMEST EVER YOUR WAY OFF RAIN N O SNOW SORRY

I'm ok with no snow in the southern part of Maine and NH. Keep the snow up north.
Nah keep it south too.
Let it snow!
Very informative ❤❤

All well and good - but with the heat generated by Keith Carson's pants, I don't think anything is going to stick to the ground. :P
Kubota has a new snow pusher. Ready.
Snow pushers are awesome. Post video.
Not going to be excited about this traveling back and forth to Va for work
Let it snow.
Good. Looks like more rain for us in southern New England. Been a great December and start to Jan so far with zero snow on the ground.
Keep that stuff up in the mountains. I will go visit it if I want to see snow.

Definately climate change. I like it, quite frankly.
First time here
Love the snow!
Give a shout-out to Calais Maine, please!
Thank you Jason! Ski and snowmobile businesses are praying for snow!

PREPARE & HOLD OUR BREATH!!
I don’t want to hear about New England, they get snow all the time. We want snow in DC…make that happen Jason and I’ll buy your next pizza! 🍕
Fr we need some lol
I live on Cape Cod. When will I get some lovely snow??
Anything in the Greater Boston mass area..good report A+. Next time you say west Virginia say where they saw the mothman sightings in 1966...
Mothman??!!

Humans are not meant to hibernate so spend the winter outside.
Bring it
yes
What do you think as far as NJ with these systems?
Snow is coming but mostly away from the shore
Its about time we get snow
😅 snow bird in Florida, Searsport in the summer. Knock yourself out I am retired and done with snow @ 72. Be safe and frosty
Love the video’s, but is it possible to move the red L with the circulating arrows off the map to see NJ and NYC?
No, you get enough attention. Western NY is where it's really about snow. You get slush and rain
Attention? ? It’s a weather channel, relax. Just asking to move the L to see the whole map. @@charlesbaldo
@@melb.6617 yeah, I could say same to you about your request. Btw it's a weather channel that rarely gets it right.
Bummer , we’re all crossing fingers for snow.@@charlesbaldo

Thanks for the weather update. Yea! Snow ❄️ is on its way.
Love weather forecasters who love snow! 40 degrees and raining is useless and depressing
Especially here in

Columbia Station, Ohio!
😳😬😠😡.
LETS GO!!!!!
Don't hold your breath.
Does this imply that there is such thing as an old woman winter
I've seen this many times before. I go outside and its heavy rains. Sad face. Take plow back off and go back inside.
At the begging of the video, why does the red line around the storm go clockwise? Low pressure areas in this part of the world spin counter-clockwise.
yes, pet peeve of mine with these graphics too
I will take all the snow we can get. First , though, let’s get the lakes frozen solid!
Snow lover here in Nj ❤waiting
Good heads up 👍
Fingers crossed 🤞🏼..
Impossible????
Maine still gets snow??? Keep dreaming!
All Bets are Off. With the new Super El Nino brewing weather forecasts are no longer accurate.
Whoo Hoo!! Snow!!!
Comeback? How can you come back when you never came in the first place?
It’s about damn time
You don't have the provincial borders
I am doing my snow dance . 🤗☃️❄️

for the jersey shore, we shall see
