That's disgusting that he has to pay for a negative hair follicle tests. That judge hates men or something. I have never seen a judge order the parent taking the test to pay for it when it comes back negative. And to give the mother the right to request one whenever she feels like is insane. This crap pissed me the F off.
@Justmy2centsHOU The judge left it up to the mother. I didn't hear the judge limit her on how often she was allowed to demand a test. That's what makes the ruling ridiculous. The judge literally said he has to take a hair follicle test whenever the mother says she wants one done at his expense. There is no law or rule at a testing facility stating that individuals are not allowed to take hair follicle tests once a month. If it's court ordered, it's court ordered.

They’re going to be back in a few months given mom was just given a free pass to request a hair follicle test from him at any point with no financial consequences for her if she abuses this. The rule has always been that it’s subject to reimbursement if the test is negative. This is meant to keep it fair for both sides as it will only be requested when the other parent is confident enough to pay for it in order to request it. The court should’ve just ordered monthly tests and not given the mom this control. It’s supposed to be a shield not a weapon
Not to mention, they didn't factor in the amount of time it will take for results. Those tests are very expensive. That order is crazy.. I mean I get it but it's a lot.
Yeah I was expecting his lawyer to request that clause and he didn't. That right there was a miss. Dad is certainly going to have get tested every visit request and it's going to get very expensive

Got to remember- courts hardly ever side with a father, or put a thought about what’s best for the child, father- the courts will drop the hammer on a father, treat them with distain. They rarely make the “mothers” pay for the tests, court costs, and give them way more leeway
*This mother is OUTRAGEOUS!! It is absolutely absurd to give the father unsupervised weekend access to their child only to then go to court requesting supervised visitation due to her having “safety concerns”… she didn’t have any concerns prior to court when she allowed him access to the child for overnights, additionally, there’s not many parents out there that get out of prison & immediately get a job & start sending extremely consistent weekly child support payments without court orders that amount most likely to more than she’s entitled to under the law. It’s very clear to anyone that has common sense that this father has taken responsibility for his past choices, held himself accountable & from all evidence, changed his life for the better. I kind of feel bad that this is the woman he has to share a child with because if I was a man, I damn sure wouldn’t want to. The drug test thing is crazy because hair follicle tests take time to come back & she’ll unfortunately probably try to withhold visits due to that. Dealing with this woman I’m sure he’ll be in court all the time until this child turns 18… it’s a very sad situation she’s gonna create for not only him but their child as well. Her first name should probably be Karen, it suits her better.*

I think the father did well. He answered the questions and presented himself well. I also think the mother did well. She asked relevant questions and accepted the Rikki g even though it’s not what she wanted.

The bias, the outright discrimination against men is deplorable, and it happens in just about every custody case! That's why we have a generation full of non-standard having, out of control brats because our society and system has done everything within its power to reduce fathers as 2nd class citizens keeping them out their children's lives.
