Yeah, card ownership doesn't work like in MTG. That got me really confused a couple of times on some niche interactions like these. In Hearthstone : Owner = Controller. There is no distinction.
There's even some "bonus" weirdness in this interaction... if that priest somehow got a Tess he wouldn't have cast a glimmerroot since that's a priest card but since it was Kibler who cast it as a Rogue thats a card that will be cast... what?!
I really think they need to change the Tess scream interaction. It’s annoying as hell x.x the deck already isn’t good in the mirror, it doesn’t need a second match up where it’s star cards can’t accomplish anything
Agreed, as someone who keeps trying to make Tess work (and to be fair it occasionally does but it's pretty bad and nearly impossible to hit legend with) this interaction pisses me off. There's no reason why a minion being in someone's deck should mean it suddenly starts casting beneficial spells for them. The treachery interaction at least makes some kind of intuitive sense, it's on the board and on their field, but it being in their deck just doesn't feel like it means it should be casting spells from their side. I totally get the mechanics behind it and how HS is coded I just would prefer they rethink this specific interaction, it doesn't line up at all with people's expectations and to make matters worse it makes an already poor deck even worse against one of the more common matchups.
Tess + Psychic Scream should work like Yogg does in my opinion. Just seems stupid that it doesn't. Or at the very least, it shouldn't trigger for the opponents.

that's not lag, that's framerate issues. means your computer is crappin out. probably too many programs running at the same time. lag is when you have bad internet connection.

I guess technically she didn't get killed but she's no longer on the field? Maybe I'm just missing something with the way that's coded

It's not a glitch, all the cards are played in sequence for the player that currently controls Tess. So if control of Tess is changed during her Battlecry, then the other player will gain the remaining effects. The same thing happens with Yog or Shudderwock.

tess can still cast even if she's dead, like old yogg in a way, and the changed ownership matters in this case. She just can't be interrupted
