That is a bell siphon my friend and you don't need the barrels your just making more work for your self all you need is to valves some pvc and a priming point and you can achieve the same outcome with a u-siphon
No, this is not a bell siphon, but it is a siphon. In a larger system with a barrel, you may drop the foot valve at the input and if there are some air leakage in the tubing the barrel will take up som air before the siphon stops. The same if there are gas that dissolves from the water.
