What an extraordinary accomplishment. Shows what can be done when our politicians are forced into action by Mother Nature. Well done to all of the engineers, plant operators & labourers who are working on this project. I read that it is ahead of schedule too! Fantastic!

Excellent rapid work to solve a major transport issue. Also a very long overdue construction due to its importance to the states northern economy. I was a Pilot vehicle driver escorting oversize loads for a spell and the old single lane bridge was not great by any means. Main Roads WA showed a great collaborative mindset in achieving this example of productivity. Well done to all involved.

great having a bridge, funny no protestors , with stickers on there cars saying no bridge and could have spent that money on housing and no jackie lambie having a protest rally against it

Was there anyone claiming that there was a sacred tree preventing the infrastructure from getting built, or 'sacred artifacts' getting dropped in the earthworks to delay progress? As has happened elsewhere in Australia.
