Great tips video, really does help me organize and plan things as someone who is totally new to persona, I'm starting with P3P on an emulator and I'm glad I did, the AI auto battling already irked me in my first hour of play before I discovered what 'direct commands' mean. I honestly thought that meant the AI would copy whatever type command my MC was using that turn.....
Which difficulty do you suggest to play on? For reference: 4 Golden I played on Hard and found it to be pretty balanced; whereas in 5 Royal I was getting sleepy on "Hard".
Not fetting attached to your main persona is a big thing I can't say I regret making an Izanagi with max stats and a broken moveset, but that still means I'd need 200.000 yen to summon it back if I were to use him in fusion
This seems similar to Golden, although the social links are so much more strict without leeway. Is it better to use the female or male character first?
Male, female is great but some buts were clearly made with the mind set that you already played male. For SLs, 3 was made with the idea you couldn't do everything on one run so they didn't really try. I like that, feels genuine and adds replay value, but without a guide do not expect to get all the SLs to max, or even close. First time through it's totally possible to even miss one or two.
Preferably male, cuz that's how the original game was ment to be played. Changes brought with FeMC aren't really that big and the main story pretty much plays out the same way, but it's more of a way for old players to re-experience the game from a different perspective
Male for sure. On top of the other two comments, in FeMC's social links, some of the male exclusive social link characters show up and it doesn't really make sense unless you know who they are from playing the male character

This is my first persona game, I just unlocked Fuuka. I really underutilized the arcade because I thought the socials were more important and did a lot of Social Links, but thank god I my gut instinct was right about beating Tartarus' sections in one night. Definitely taking notes to when I play again on hard.

Personally I always try to keep an entire month's worth of save files and rotate thru them throughout.

P5 Royal is the easiest game I've played even on Merciless mode. It's like everything is on Easy mode by default and nothing changes
