@@reefingwithreggie8413 Yes I added a control panel and I am planning on adding a roller and I also added a diy refugium since the sump has enough space.
Great video my friend I’ve been looking for a unboxing of this tank because it’s hard to see the quality when it’s filled looking forward to more videos
@@reefingwithreggie8413 I’ve had reef tanks for 15 years and I learned something with every tank they are all Pandora’s box lol so you’re right along with the rest of us my friend!
I was also thinking about that upgraded gate valve. However, I do have to say the Gen1 valve actually works still quite nice for me the last couple month.
Hey Reggie the tank looks very nice! How do you like it so far? I think I will get one too this winter, the new Red Sea G2 tanks seem to be very very well thougt out tanks.
The tank is very nice I really like it a lot you will be happy with it. I personally like the warranty Red Sea has I even seen them work with people that bought used tanks.
Hey buddy! I put together the same tank but I had two spares of the circle hooks that hook onto screw heads and two plastic covers that go over the hole. I could of swore I got all the ones instructions told me! Did you also have spare of 2 for the circle hooks screws and 2 cover caps?
if you want a REAL simple reef tank, go with MAX series. I went with max nano thinking it’s simple and cheap, and now I regret so much. A lot of corals died in the past couple of years cuz of tank maintenance issue. It will cost a lot more to go with REEFER but I’m prepared for it
Go with the one like I have, it easier to manage because it has a sump and you can hid the equipment at the bottom. Did you select a tank yet? personally I'm not a fan of AIO tanks
Thanks for a great video. This helped me pick up the two boxes from the freight company in a very small car.
Just order mine today after seeing all your videos thanks for all the info on them and I subscribe to your channel can’t wait to see more videos
Thanks a lot I really appreciate it!
I just got the same tank last month!! I love it! Can not wait to make it the most insane reef tank!
This size tank it’s not crazy expensive to make that happen with the footprint and features you can add to it.

Sonic doesn’t come with the sliding panel control ??

How are you liking the Reefer G2? Any thoughts on the gate valve? I also have a 425 G2 and just trying to hear others thoughts!

Hi - researching this tank myself and wondering if I should go with this or the max e 170 as a first time reefer?
