I can't believe the consumption at 120 km/h. Is it possible it was a bit of uphill? I've already ordered a Focus with the same engine and I'm a little regretful
@@joseluisestevez4263 I own the 125hp version and depending on usage fuel consumption ranges between 5 and 6.5 l/100km. At about 120kph it is around 6 l/100km. That being said, I do not own the mild hybrid version, and you may see some subtle improvements. The 155hp is much the same on fuel.
Why do people talk about stupid consumption at every video? When I am interested in a car, I care about how it goes on the road (still you can't see this in the video), how the exterior/interior looks, quality and color of interior materials, options, performance. Consumption is last that matter, because all are consuming and is a unavoidable cost, but some cars gets broken more often than others or have higher maintenance costs and that costs are sometimes huge. This is more important to be taken in consideration rather than fuel consumption.
Nice video, us usual 👍👍👍 If you could share your opinion I would appreciate. What would you choose between Focus ST line or Puma ST line, both are 1.0 125 bhp model year 2021. Thanks
Also 2021 focus is worse than before - Ford eliminated all manual controls (there's an ugly piece of plastic where they used to me) nd now everything is controlled through touch screen.
@@sic22l I bought 308 last year, and you get familiar with this layout quickly. New Golf and Octavia also has same thing... basically, I believe only new C4 has returned buttons and knobs
We cant rent old bmw, only i have to buy it and film and try sell with same money or someone has this car, but its hard, we want try in future open own small car dealer or car rental :)
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK well its fine if you can't review it and opening a car rental business it a great idea..!!👌👌👍👍 and thanks for relying..!!appreciate it.🙏
after a week of owning this ST-X 155 hp 2021 and 500 miles I can share my thoughts. Excellent handling and feel in cabin. The desing in this Grey matter colour really pops out. It's great on motorway and country roads not so good around the town. 155 hp feels a bit lazy in 1,2 gear. Fuel consumpsion is poor considering it's a mild hybrid. The armrest is still the same poor design as in Fiestas. If you use the wireless power charger with usb cable to run apple car play the message on the screen keeps popping up very annoying I have to keep the phone in cup holder or in the armrest not where it was designed to be stored. Gear box feels very clunky and metalic even I can even hear the mechanics inside (Ford tehcnicians said that it's ok ) The mega box is useles if you travel and need to get something from there you have to unload everything from the booth. (Not sure why there is not a split floor board) I have noticed a rattle coming from the passanger's dash board as well as DAB radio is not able to search stations booked the car back to Ford dealer for repair. So far not too impressed.
That's Ford's mild hybrid system, it increases real life fuel consumption by at least 1 l/100km. Also small cars are not meant to drive at 160km/h+ because that's too close t their limits.
@@Mr11ESSE111 Not really. I this case Ford's mild hybrid system is the problem. The same engine without it and in a heavier Focus stays below 7l/100km at 140 km/h and it's one of the most economical gasoline engines out there.
Thanks for testing the manual too!
At least around 100 better consumption...

chill mate, Focus cons is much lower! do not compare the aerodynamics of this dresser with that of a focus...

People talk about it because it matters for them. Fuel consumption is unavoidable cost but lower consumption means less money to burn.

Take the one without mild hybrid system, it will use less fuel.

something better in consumption then automatic but stuill eats terrible much at 160+kmh!! basically even more then touareg with bigger petrol engines
