I wouldn't have a 7.6.2 klipsch system if I didn't find your channel to be honest but its a fun hobby and I like watching your videos and Techno Dads content
Less that is the one comment that I continue to hear. I never try to come across as “the expert “. I’m just a simple home theater enthusiast sharing my experiences with everyone and offering inspiration and education along the way.
Thankyou so much for your honesty and candor. I think of this as more of a "club" but also a hobby. My "cave" is a sacred place where one to go to be in their own controlled world and environment. I regard my own theater room almost as a time machine that can take me to wherever my video content is from. Especially epic documentaries like Blue Planet. I have travelled from the depths of the ocean, well into deep space, all from the comfort of my reclining seat.
LOL , before discovering your channel I was happy with my 55 inches tv and small sound bar , now I spent more than 20k $ on my home theater 🤣 Thanks a lot for your content and inspiration 🙏
I think one of the reasons people connect with you is because of your charismatic personality, something that I think it can be projected though a screen only if it really comes from an honest place . The guy on the video gave me that impression also. God bless you and your families.
The friendships will go on forever. As someone who is professionally in this industry, the friendships I’ve made over the years will stand the test of time. I’m still good friends with folks I was part of a EARLY ht forum from the mid 90’s and within the industry I’ve hosted poker nights post a large national retailers vendor meeting and others have yearly group golf outings. These guys are a big part of my life and can’t to see them post pandemic activities.
I like watching your videos. You come across as genuine and kind hearted person who is always happy and smiling. Through passion for home cinema, you are also spreading good vibes.
Wow this video was very cool, your content is very inspiring. I'd love to see a video of your very first home theater setup all the way up to the setup you've got today! 👍🏼 Blessings Michael!
Funny you should mention it. I actually started gathering a ton of photos to share my entire journey in a video. Just not sure what is the best format. I thought about even doing a lifestream and going through the photos together. Definitely in the works though
@@Youthman yes, do a Livestream so we can comment on it live, hope to see it soon. I've basically stared 2 years ago, and I'm going little by little, with some new and used gear, your videos have really inspired me to finally using this spare room for our home theater. 🙏🏻
Between You, Techno Dad, and Spare Change, I have learned so much about Theater Room anything hahaha. It is inspiring and I am thankful for the time you spend on making this content.
The thing that's most important about all this gear to me is enjoying it with family. While it's cool to have all the latest stuff, it's only cool when your family can share in the magic. My wife also doesn't care much, but when she switches from a 120" projector to a 42" TV at someone's house, she notices.
I've always stayed single so no hassles with home theater, being gone all the time with work (mostly international before Covid), RC airplanes, skydiving... whatever whenever, I like not having to ask anyone:-) I enjoy leaving on international trips literally on a few hours notice to be gone sometimes for weeks or months. Of course I suppose married life, kids etc has its benefits too, or so I'm told. Youthman you make fantastic content! It's going to be awhile with all the materials and labor shortages but when my new house and new theater are eventually done you will be more than welcome to come to Texas and check it out. Don't worry about the flight, I really do travel a lot for work... a lot... frequent flier miles in the seven figures.
@@Youthman Definitely will once it all comes together. The house itself has been, "90 days from completion" for over 90 days:-( It will get done eventually and I will post videos of the custom loudspeaker construction once I move in and get the CNC up and running.

Hey youthman have u seen the new Sony 4 speakers system Dolby Atmos ht a9 it's on RUclips the people at Sony were amazed I jus viewed it would be nice if u guys n techno dad n spare change cud review it if it's out already
Enjoy your video's. Have you ever checked out video walls such as Just Video or Planar? I think they might be the future instead of projectors & screens. I know they are expensive, so you need a big wallet. Dream Media I believe are now a retailer for Just Video Walls. Here in Canada, there are a couple of options such as Planar & Bright Link (Vancouver, B.C.), there is a dealer for Planar in Calgary, Alberta. I hope you will be able to experience one of these and do a review as well. Keep up the good work!
Very cool.. I'm just starting out. I have a 12 by 19 ft room. Havign an issue with bass. I bought a pb 16 ultra . I went with in wall revel. 9.1.1 Dolby atmos with a merantz 7013 and a second gen anthem. For the highs in the front. Should I get another svs sub? I want to feel the base in my chest. The one svs doesnt produce that punch. Any advice
@@Youthman no I have not. I have moved all around in the seating positions though. No change in sound. I only have a 6 seat set up. 3 in front three in back. With a step up. It's a sealed room also. Double drywall. It pressurizes the room but not as loud as I would like it to be. Called svs gain is set to 10db on sub. And +3db on merantz. Svs told me that I should set merantz to 0. But its to quiet on 0. Barely moves the driver. I haven't played around with any port tuning or anything either. Idk I'll try to get up a video. So u can see the excursion of the sub. I had a guy come out and look at it and he made it sound horrible. Lol
Something doesn’t sound right. I’m guessing you meant -10dB on the SVS because 0dB is it’s loudest setting. -10dB and 0dB trim on your AVR should be plenty. SVS is correct, you want to keep your trim levels in the AVR to 0dB or lower so you do not introduce distortion. Unfortunately without a calibration mic like the UMIK-1, you are only guessing as to how well the sub is performing in your room. Lastly, I have never seen a single sub capable of a smooth bass response across all 6 seats. It’s pretty much physically impossible. Can you move your sub to another location in the room to see if it improves?
@@Youthman I put up a video. Hard to explain. If u have a second. I dont want to post it here I feel that's inappropriate. Lol if u could take a look it would help me out.

Home theater s now are actually the real theatres. So since times are different we must have them. But I strongly believe as mentioned here it is actually done with a lot of patience and research and not only about big brands and equipments. I don't know how manny years it took or I don't want to remember to get the settings and details correct. Have seen huge basi mistakes done and spoken about in numerous u tube channels. But believe me this is a big chapter . So friends after installing your theatr do give enough time and am sure you will make out your mistakes with time. Unfortunately the avr or even a processor are complicated when it comes to settings. So be patient and you may think you have the best balanced sound when you are new but with time you will always improve

@@Youthman that would be an absolute honour my friend 👍
I would be glad to if we can find a brand willing to sponsor the trip. Jessica has heritage from England so it’s certainly on our bucket list
Great video Youthman. I really love your enthusiasm and love for this hobby. Thank you.
Thank you for the kind words Jack
My SINCERE THANKS Michael for sharing what you know & what other enthusiasts have done! I built a dedicated home theater in the dream house I built in the mountains of the Philippines. After 11 years it IS TIME to upgrade & hope to keep you posted on the journey… Thanks again for being a “guiding light” for thousands… BC
Thank you for the kind words
I wouldn't have a 7.6.2 klipsch system if I didn't find your channel to be honest but its a fun hobby and I like watching your videos and Techno Dads content
Thank you Vince. I’m glad to hear that the content has been helpful along your journey
Great video man. Doug has a beautiful room and awesome setup!
For sure!
Thank you Youthman for doing all that you do for us!!!
Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you David.
You're the coolest nerd around. I enjoy watching your vids and hearing your info/ideas. God bless ya brotha.
Thanks Frank. Glad you’re enjoying the videos
It's the way you do it! You seem like a buddy talking to us. I have grown in the hobby along with you!
Less that is the one comment that I continue to hear. I never try to come across as “the expert “. I’m just a simple home theater enthusiast sharing my experiences with everyone and offering inspiration and education along the way.
@@Youthman You do it perfect!!
@@keepingupwiththejones2933 Thanks!
Very well said Garry.
LOL , before discovering your channel I was happy with my 55 inches tv and small sound bar , now I spent more than 20k $ on my home theater 🤣
Thanks a lot for your content and inspiration 🙏
Let’s be honest, would you ever go back to the 55 inch TV with a small soundbar? You’re welcome 🤣
@@Youthman lol never !
This one Chanel that i can connect with on a different level. your just real person. I wish your success always my God continue to bless you 🙏

just got your video as a recommendation and I'm happy I did. Thank you for being you. You have another friend here
Thank you kindly
You’re the reason I got into Klipsch and svs subs had a 7.2 setup now back to 5.2 now working on upgrading everything to the RP series
We love your content! That's why we are here. Keep up the good work. I've learned so much from you!
Thanks Ryan I appreciate it brother
And we all appreciate the heck out of you sir! Thank you for bringing the joy to us!
Thanks Robert!
I think one of the reasons people connect with you is because of your charismatic personality, something that I think it can be projected though a screen only if it really comes from an honest place . The guy on the video gave me that impression also. God bless you and your families.
Thank you for the kind words. I’m pretty much the same person on and off camera. Like a big teenager that never grew up 🤣
The friendships will go on forever.
Completely agree Robert.
Thank you Youthman you and so many more youtubers have helped me out so much from where I started at in this hobby to where I am now is amazing
Glad you have found the videos helpful
I like watching your videos. You come across as genuine and kind hearted person who is always happy and smiling. Through passion for home cinema, you are also spreading good vibes.
Thank you kindly.
I guess I’m lucky my better half loves my home theatre and watching movies in 4k
Same here. Wife is all about the whole experience.
Same!
Lucky dudes
Wow this video was very cool, your content is very inspiring.
I'd love to see a video of your very first home theater setup all the way up to the setup you've got today! 👍🏼
Blessings Michael!
Awesome! Congrats
Between You, Techno Dad, and Spare Change, I have learned so much about Theater Room anything hahaha. It is inspiring and I am thankful for the time you spend on making this content.
We are glad to be able to share it with you
Holy cow! That’s too much premium sound for one person. Greatest stuff 💯. Amazing. Simply amazing.
The thing that's most important about all this gear to me is enjoying it with family. While it's cool to have all the latest stuff, it's only cool when your family can share in the magic. My wife also doesn't care much, but when she switches from a 120" projector to a 42" TV at someone's house, she notices.
Absolutely agree
I appreciate the invite. Feel free to submit it at www.hometheatertours.com and we will see if we can make that happen.
@@Youthman Definitely will once it all comes together. The house itself has been, "90 days from completion" for over 90 days:-( It will get done eventually and I will post videos of the custom loudspeaker construction once I move in and get the CNC up and running.
Awesome
This is a real blessing. Me and my uncle. Talk home theater a lot. Burn that’s our thing. I’ve never met you. But I value your passion. It’s dope. I don’t feel so bad about living home theater. The way I do.
Thank you Victor
@@Youthman you’re welcome
Yep, that guys is from around where I live. He sold his entire new setup that was like less than 6 months old!
Yun oh and2 sir Nols hehehe.. ka PHTE
Lol, this is nearly the exact conversation my wife and I had just a few days ago. She is also from the Philippines. So it was so familiar.
Too funny 🤣
Yes sir ... Connections and Networking.. Friends and community. Without the fellow passionate and enthusiastic.. helpful and informative people that build this community... it would not be the same AT all ... I am blessed and happy to have come across your channel about 2 years ago (ish) .. Klipsch and early svs sub days.
This HiFi Summit / Daily HiFi - Youthman Crew ... incredible and brilliant people to talk with and learn from. ( trolls aside ) The community has been the best part of the hobby since I started my Audiophilia 26 years ago ... Amazing conversations and opportunities have resulted from being part of things.
Kudos to ALL your work and efforts bringing enlightening ideas in audio ..and outside the audio world. Your insights and wisdom help my personal life as well as feed the ambition to keep pushing to a new level ... Cannot thank you enough for that.
Thanks Joseph. It’s been great getting to know you over the past few years as well
Hey Michael maybe you can ask him what is the dimensions of his room he never mentioned that in his video the height of a ceiling length and width of room
Great video, you definitely inspired me in building my home theater on the limited budget that I have. My family and I enjoy movie nights as we love to gather in our budget home theater, thank you for inspiring me, God bless you sir.🙂👍
That’s great to hear Ronnie. Thank you for the kind words
Michael I realy like what you do.
I have just a small living room home cinema.
Its nothing compared to what you have or what you show.
But Im grateful for what I have.
And a big plus is that my wife likes what we have and Likes to watch movies.
Thank you for this channel and God bless.
That’s what it’s all about. Building a home theater that you and your family and friends can enjoy together

The sad part is that his small little theater setup next to his arcade machines is my "Main" setup that I just upgraded to after so many years LOL

Nice video. You are the first one i saw on RUclips when i was looking up home theater stuff. & at that time it was just a dream because i was still living at home with my parents(nothing but sound bars lol which that was awesome back then) But then i got married & got a new home & i asked my wife if she was ok if i start on this hobby. & of course she thought about for a bit, but she was ok with it. So we have a living room home theater (our house is not that big) there is more to how i got into this hobby but its too much to type. But thank you for your videos.
That’s great to hear! Glad to know the content has been helpful along your journey

those speakers are bigger than movie theater ones think about it a movie just have more of big speakers or some times not like imax i think those are bit wider
You might be surprised just how large the speakers are in a cinema

Great video. The HT community is the best! Thanks Youthman for highlighting the positive nature of the community which far exceeds the toxic element that most people focus on. 🤘🏽
Thank you Samuel. I don’t have time for toxic people. 😉
As always Michael, I learned so much from your video. This time, however, it was more on the person you are and how appreciative you are for what you have. It speaks leaps and bounds for your character. If you ever find yourself in south Florida (near Ft Lauderdale), would love to have you over to check out my Paradigm Prestige 7.2.4 with Anthem setup. It coexists in my living room so I have a motorized 136" screen that drops down in front of my daytime tv. Glad you have found the video is helpful Sami
That is an awesome setup. The only thing I question are the LR front channels. I would think they need to be toed-in some...but he had pros set it up so I guess it's correct.
I tow in my mains as well. They have a pretty wide dispersion so they may be ok to not have them toed in as much
Man his updated theater is beyond epic now
Watching your videos are those little pretty moments I can say WOW! He totally understands my feeling about this hobby, about this passion! 👍🏼

What's their channel? I want to watch the original video
There was a link to his video at the end and also a card that popped up at the beginning with the link to it. I’ll also add it to the description
I just added the link in the description

I enjoy your content and I've learned a lot from it. But I wish you can make a video about budget friendly systems about surround sound systems and projectors.
I have at least 4 budget home theater tours. Go to the channel, click Playlists and go to the Home Theater Tours playlist.
@@Youthman I’m in a process doing a home theater for my apartment. Since I can’t put holes in the ceiling and walls. I have my projector and my projector screen. Now I’m trying to find a budget friendly surround sound and a/v receiver.
Hey youthman what is the screen type n brand did team Kramer used for his 190"
I do not know. You could ask on his channel
Ok thanks
Hey youthman have u seen the new Sony 4 speakers system Dolby Atmos ht a9 it's on RUclips the people at Sony were amazed I jus viewed it would be nice if u guys n techno dad n spare change cud review it if it's out already
Honestly I’ve never been a fan of Sony speakers or AVR’s so I probably won’t be reviewing it.
Indian price for base model bro? And need your suggestions pls
The wife is thinking about the things she wants to buy with all that money🙂😁🤗
She's not slick.
🤣🤣🤣
Youthman what is Doug's last name from the Philippines?
Kramer
I saw this on his channel last year
Doug Kramer is a former pro basketball player while her wife is a local actress and model
Yes he’s had a pretty successful career. I didn’t know that about his wife. That’s awesome
Yes we had a meeting with them about the possibility of exhibiting at MWAVE.
Have you ever reviewed Rotel processors? I just got the RSP-1576 mk2. Nice unit but so many bugs. Do you find new processors have lots of bugs?
I haven’t reviewed any Rotel units. Honestly it’s been probably 15 years since I’ve used any of their gear.
I'm also being inspired to have my own when I get my house though thanks youthman for all your videos God bless you 🙏🙏🙏
This is going to be a new book for us dudes into Home Theater, "Every Man's Battle" by Henry Cloud...lol
Haha
Any advice
Before purchasing another sub, have you measured your response in your room? It might be that you have a null at your seating position.
This is some crazy s..t!!
I know of this video, its fantastic.
Your,e so thru, about the friendships and the same hobby we have. You are so welcome in my house, when you ever come to the Netherlands, come and see me.
Wow that would be an awesome trip! Thank you for the invite

"Youthman over seas" will be the title ( haha ).
I love it! We just have to get a few brands to sponsor the trip and I’m down!
Yeah thanks Michael, had not been for you and your reviews I woulda been satisfied after my first try. But now I’m always chasing 🏃 better 😉. Shout out to your wife Jessica, you been blessed with a good one. 😀
Thank you Michael. Yes Jessica is an amazing wife and my biggest fan (even though she doesn’t watch a lot of my videos) 🤣
Absolutely. I learn something new every day
