Ha ha... I thought you guys just had that extension cord plugged into an outlet! Glad to see a normal fence charger there. Good idea with the high vis wire up top. I think your double fence may have been a bit too close each other. I have mine about 8' apart. Not sure if that's what worked or maybe you just have more aggressive deer. Good luck!
Another trick is to coat the tape with peanut butter. The deer will go to it like a moth to flame and get a big surprise. That teaches them real fast to stay away as well as teaches the fawns to stay away.
The top rope is non-electric and that is what they use to pull underground cables with. Its a flat nylon high strength rope. Works great for more visibility for the deer. We got it free, that's why we used it
First year doing corn, so if it makes, the plan is to bushog it, yet. The sunflowers we leave standing right until the opener and the bushhog it. I have found the birds like the sunflowers standing as it provides protection for them from overhead hawks, etc. so I let them feel safe until its time to hunt
@@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors that’s the way I do it in Halifax county never had a problem with them jumping only running into it if it’s to close to thick cover .
Love all the videos! Hopefully next year will be following along with you doing the same on our property.

Maybe so! I do know deer love sunflowers. They get too aggressive, I am going to remove that transformer

lol that's awesome... might have to try that and setup a trail camera on video mode!
What material was used for the top row of your fence and how did it hold up?

Are you gonna mow or bush hog the corn and the sunflowers to scatter the seeds for the doves

You had to 2 fence set up backwards
Do tell! You saying the outside row should be the tall row and inside row the short row??
