Dua gives only psychological affect and improves our will power. These Maulanas are professional preachers and they give us what they believe.
This is a very unthoughtful comment. First of all, you don't know what is better for the current situation only Allah knows so He will bring the success in a way that is best for us. To be honest do you actually believe that we all can lay back at home, do a dua and everything sorts itself out? Even if this would be the case how would that benefit our current situation? The next Muslims get attacked the same situation will occur. Muslims need to learn from this and form our own political structure which would be a caliphate. Our Dua is connected to our actions, so make the Dua and then act upon it. Anas ibn Malik reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, should I tie my camel and trust in Allah, or should I leave her untied and trust in Allah?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Tie her and trust in Allah.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2517 Dua only giving a psychological affect is such a dangerous statement, please refrain from such statements in the future and look into Islam more and the Sunnah.

Don’t give up on duas. Sometimes they take years to come into play in our lives (at least in a way that’s noticeable) and sometimes seconds. However one thing I suggest we all decide to focus on is Allah’s Qadr. In order to understand the role of our duas, we have to understand His Qadr. All I am saying is that all happens for a reason, and that our duas are not always meant to happen. But true iman comes when our duas are not answered and we still trust in Allah and that He will hear us in sha Allah and that we trust in His Plans. Do not forget the importance of duas, as their importance has been recorded in Hadith and Quran. While I fully agree we need to also put physical effort into our duas (example: you can’t make a dua for stronger faith then skip all your prayers the next day and say “it was Allah who didn’t allow me to pray) I will argue that duas and our own efforts are equally important
