I had cats and it hit me again when Milk went out for a walk and didn't let Jungwoo accompany him. Cats knew when it's their time for some reason and they hid themselves or go away from owners... The actor who played Milk really did the character justice; they all did but Milk did so great. 💘
Milk was sassy, Choco was cute, Jungwoo were kind & Uncle was flirty... These 4 people really gave justice to their roles.. Acting, direction & cinematography were perfect... This is how a series should be.. Thankyou Strongberry..

I know this is supposed to be a fantasy romance kind of thing but i can't stop seeing it in the literal sense of loving a pet and having to say goodbye to them and i'm here looking at my pets laying in my bed and crying like a child. i'm glad the show was kept so pure and platonic. the idea of having a loved one return just for an actual goodbye is so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. beautiful series.

Not to mention this one scene that shows a bloody(literal) dog laying on the ground after being hit by car and that’s how I lost my boy💔💔💔my heart
I just realized how incredibly amazing the people behind this are. The part before the credits, started to lose the soft lights, the camera panning was intentionally shaking a bit, as Jungwoo entered the unit, then it just goes gray toned while he was breaking down. No lines were needed to feel the emotion of the scene. That was well-thought.
I cried. I'm still crying. I didn't want Milk and Choco to leave but they had to to save their souls. I love them so much!

It's impressive how the production managed do make such a weird plot (cat and dog turning into humans) become such a good series. The storyline is captivating, offering the perfect balance between emotional and fun scenes. The cast is so talented they can portrate the personalities of each character perfectly. Basically, Choco Milk Shake is the biggest surprise this year, and I wish good luck and success to everyone involved.
It was indeed one of the best surprise for BL followers this year.

I'm just going to say it. This was probably the most emotionally powerful BL episode of the year. These four actors portrayed such a powerful, and wide range of emotions, and wow, I felt all of it like a force of nature this episode. It was beautiful, and it made my heart ache, and brought tears, but hope, that with Choco not disappeared, there's a chance that one day, they might all get to reincarnate together and have a start as humans again for a romance and friendship that can last longer than the 50 days they were allowed. I'm just going to buy more tissues for next episode. I'm certain the wrap up will make me cry from sadness, or maybe joy if they get to come back. Either way, I'll probably be crying again.

If there were ever to be academy awards for a short story (BL), this is sooooo deserving! Each actor showed subtle hues and nuances for their own character. The facial expressions, timing, music, scenery, writing, camera angles, pauses, and occasional kisses were the creme de la creme for that scene. Kudos to the writers, camera operators, and each person who had their part with Choco Milk Shake!

This show made my think again of my cat. When I was struggling with coming out, he was the only one that kept being the same and comforted me with just... being there for me and purring and sleeping on my lap. He didn't care about anything else. I hope he is happy and watching over me, wherever he may be

both Choco and Milk were excellently portrayed by their actors!! Choco really does portray very doglike characteristics, such as being clingy and affectionate, energetic, and occasionally naughty and messy, whereas Milk is extremely catlike, putting himself first before others, not liking to be too affectionate, especially with people he's not close to, taking naps during the day, vicious and lashing out when he's angry or upset, but sweet with the people he loves. thank you Jaebin and Seonghyuk for bringing life to our beloved Choco and Milk!! :)

One small detail I absolutely love is how Milk refuses to make eye contact with Uncle. Such a kitty.
I knew the end was gonna hurt, but I didn't know it would be as painful as it was. This was such a great series and the actors portrayed their roles so well, it reminded me of my own cat and dog. Thinking of the day I'll have to say goodbye to my dog hurts terribly and reliving the pain I faced when my cat passed a couple month's before this series started is so incredibly scary for me. I thought at the beginning my wound so fresh I wouldn't be able to watch but I'm so grateful I gave it a shot, this series and now the ending has in some ways helped give me peace even if melancholy to the future loss and pass loss of my four legged family. I know I'll come back to this series again and again to help cope and because it truly is just such a great series!

This Korean bl taught me so much a lot each episode as with Choco and Milk, Jungwoo always had to take precious time with them.💕 Even if Uncle is flirty, I think he loved Milk the way he was. Hoping for Strongberry will give us another series of them. I cried too much for this episode, it's really emotional episode. 🥺

I really don’t have words for how special this series was/is. It was short and simple and the plot was so outlandish. But the cast and the story and, in the end, it’s simplicity just… made it one of the best things I’ve seen - and I mean that, not just best BL but one of my favorite series ever. Huge kudos to everyone involved. What a gem. I appreciate them having it on YT with eng subs. It’s been so exciting tuning in on premier night with everyone each week and sharing this.

I've never been happier to follow a tiktok recommendation. I am very picky about BL but I can firmly say that this is a BL that deserves to be well-known. The actor were so great and perfectly chosen, the pictures were very beautiful (for example in this episode in the bar with the lightning, or when Jungwoo falls and the picture does the same before the light comes out) and their acting? Truly good. I will take a look at the rest of the content in this channel because this was a very high quality serie in my opinion and I could feel the emotion of the whole serie very well. A big clap to everyone, actors, writer, production and producer for everything about this serie !
I cried so much and I guess it's because I wasn't expecting such a bittersweet ending. Everyone involved did such a great job and now I'm gonna eat my feelings until I stop crying. The most gutwrenching part for me was when after jungwoo and choco hugged the black screen came up and so did the text. It reminded me of the special episode that shared the backstory of how choco and milk became humans. Seeing that gave me the feelings that he's back in heaven. Back to where he was. Without jungwoo. I'm crying again. Anyways I'm so proud of everyone you all did amazing.

Damn, Strongberry, how in the world did you do that?? This was technically a sad ending, but even though I'm over here balling my eyes out I don't feel sad or empty. Probably cause the story was told so beautifully. It's like the show was preparing us for this end and nothing gave us false hope that Choco and Milk would stay. Even better still that they completed there mission of making sure that Jungwoo was happy and okay. Hopefully this little visit of theirs and the knowledge that he's being looked over happily will allow him to lead a better, more filling life. Great job all!

I haven't cried at a show, movie, whatever in SO long! Both actors, all of them, did an *AMAZING* job.
I have a cat myself, so Milk's performance broke me, truly. I'm not prepared to be in Jungwoo's shoes when her time comes, but at least in his shoes, Milk was able to tell him that he's leaving. Normally, us owners don't get that privilege. Cats normally go into hiding when they're dying, so seeing Milk "hiding" from his owner before passing made me think... a lot! I don't know what I would do if I randomly couldn't find my baby Sol, only to eventually come across her, hiding in the corner of a closet...
Choco was also the main reason for my essive crying. Having lost a puppy before, him actually wanting to stay, but realizing he can't, but such a beautiful moment. The realization in his eyes, the sorrow that came afterwards, the denial... then the acceptance. And the fact that Jungwoo couldn't look him in his eyes during most of the talk was so accurate to an owner finally letting their pet(s) go, but finally looking at them in their last moments.
Kim Seonghyuk (Milk) is amazing... I want to see him more and more... I can't wait for the next and last EP.

This is all we need, a good series with good story. No sex scenes, no unnecessary casts, no engineering students. No matter how short it is, if the story is solid and unique then it sells.

Sweet, touching, endearing, beautifully told and acted, all done and dusted in 10 short episodes. Strongberry is unique in that it specialises in the miniature and does it so well, always with a lovely cast, original storylines and close attention to the music score. There was not one extraneous moment. I thought Milk was incredibly cute and Choco winningly handsome, with the attractive and bespectacled Jungwoo their perfect foil. The director, production team and the entire cast did themselves proud. But hold on a moment: this ISN'T the final episode - according to MDL there's one more.

Nunca le había dado la oportunidad a una serie coreana hasta que vi está, me llamó la atención su historia y ahora estoy ENAMORADA del bendito cast y por supuesto la historia....
Ese beso entre Milk y el tío es espectacular, tierno y te transmite un montón de cosas al punto de llorar (al menos yo lo hice) .
Esta serie se merece una temporada más, es hermosa sin necesidad de tener escenas picantes... ¡Amo Choco Milk Shake! 🖤

The kiss scene was absolutely gorgeous. I've got butterflies. Milk and Uncle's chemistry is on the whole another level. And of course Strongberry had to make me cry twice. First after Milk left, and second during Jungwoo and Choco scene. There's still 1 episode left so time to pray for both couples reunion 🙏 I really need happy ending. It'll be too painful otherwise 😭

The irony of the story is that the return of Choco & Milk helped heal Jungwoo's lonely heart, but broke Uncle's instead. That tender kiss was full of longing, regret for not admitting feelings sooner, the ache of having to let go, the fear of a final "goodbye", and the words asking Milk to stay that he can't say. Unlike Jungwoo who knows Choco and Milk and where they came from and where they were returning, Uncle doesn't have that insight: all he knows is that these two guys walked into his life, brightened it, brought laughter to it, he fell for one of them and now they're leaving just as things are feeling so right and so natural. Doesn't seem fair that he's the one hurting now and he can't understand why they have to go with no hope of ever seeing either of them again: Choco as a dear friend and Milk as a partner.

@@vec1723 Didn't mean to make anyone feel worse than the episode already did and for that, I'm sorry. Poor Milk - he doesn't understand why he feels 'weird' when Uncle looks at him lovingly; he only knows that although he says he hates it, he still wanted to experience it one more time before leaving. Knowing that Milk is just awakening to his feelings and no time is left, it would be unfair to both of them if Uncle tried to convince him to stay because Milk hasn't figured out his own heart yet and rushing him isn't the answer. You're right: he had to let him go as much as he didn't want to do so.

I think everyone can agree that this whole episode needed a warning for how sad it was gunna be- damn I have never cried so much throughout a whole bl but this episode alone 😭🙌
The actors did an amazing job and the story was beautiful and heart warming. The cast and crew should be proud of themselves and I would like to see the actors again!

But I knew what they meant to say. Jungwoo kept the promise he made to Milk. He didn't let Choco just fade away....
The actors really got to shine in this series, and they did. I wish for them all to have great projects in the future, maybe even some together again? Uncle + Milk, jungwoo + Choco 😉
