NOTIFICATION: On paper, I think this might be the single most action packed Abroad in Japan episode ever made. We certainly ended Journey Across Japan with a thud. Literally - goodbye ear. It's now healed fortunately but it took 6 long weeks of hell to get there. Still it was a blast at sea and a lot of fun watching Ryotaro and Natsuki battle it out once and for all! I hope you enjoyed the series guys!
Thanks
Glad to see it!
after 3000 years 😁😁😁
Have been looking forward to this, glad to hear you've recovered
Finally! LETSGO CHRIS!! 💪🏼😤👌🏼
Natsuki responding to Ryotaro’s dramatic Japanese with “go f*** yourself!” Made me giggle and seemed very on brand for him.
Even though I read this before watching this scene, I started to laugh so hard after Natsukis line that I felt choking... As a matter of fact it happened twice as I watched this episode a second time.
I would love to have that "Go f**k yourself" line as a message sound on my phone. Is it available somewhere, if someone would know?
@@miikkapulli I believe Natsuki is on cameo, so for a fee he will do personalized message
Me too!
The ‘go fuck your self’ call back. Such impeccable comedic timing.

I often wonder if Natsuki ever wonders about the weird life divergence he's found himself on for the last decade or so all from saying Hello to some random foreigner he passed by on the street.
I always thought they met at a bar, where is Natsuki origin story?! Has Chris ever mentioned where they met 😂
@@ary5829 Yeah, he said years ago on some q&a video that they met on the street while drunk because Natsuki just came and talked to him because he was a foreigner.
@@adamashworth6293 awe that’s so on brand for him 🤣🤣

Funny how those things happen. Met my first Japanese buddy by randomly calling up some Japanese office in my region asking for assistance with a translation. He was super helpful and we started hanging after that. Ended up in Japan to visit the many friends I gained after meeting him.
I am Japanese. Many foreign tourists will come to Okinawa because of the removal of immigration restrictions in Japan. I want people from all over the world to know the beautiful sea of Okinawa. Thank you for introducing it.
I want to visit Japan again for three to six months next year. I love your culture and your food and I hope Japanese people won't be sceptical of tourists. Hopefully I can go to Okinawa as well! :) I wish you all the best. ^_^
Okinawa is amazing. I went in 2010 for a month, but I was only a teenager at the time. I can't wait to come back as an adult someday 😄

Legitimately so impressed by Chris, who took to the skies despite being terrified, something I'd just outright refuse, and then braving on with severe pain in his ear, still remaining his cheerfully snarky self.
Edit: He even kills himself, what a guy
"He even kills himself, what a guy" bruh 😂
I loved when Natsuki called the hermit crab a "home crab" at first because really, he's not wrong.
I love that for all Chris's persona of complaining and being angry, when things actually go wrong you can tell he remains relatively calm and even humored throughout
Incredibly British to the end with Chris.
I had a manager once who came in every day yelling, swearing and throwing pots and pans around. And that's how you knew everything was fine. Because if someone actually did screw up, he was calm, cool-headed and soft-spoken.
I actually really liked that management style!

The thrills, the action, the dramatic showdown between Natsuki and Ryotaro to declare once and for all their title for Chris Broad's lifelong friendship as the ultimate best friend...this video is a CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE! Once again, Chris Abroad has done it spectacularly. I'm sorry about the annihilated right ear as an unforgiving sacrifice of shocking pain.
Abroad in Japan has done a lot of things this year. Wacky Weekends, Journey across Japan, the soon to be released Chirs' POV of The Neverending Cycling of Despair across Hokkaido, and Chris is about to participate in a boxing event.
As a long time viewer, I'm really proud of you Mr. Affable!

The Hells Angels, the Comanchero motorcycle club and the Aussie Cartel heads are having talks while you are reading this about their growth in Australia and in Asia. Exterminating The Yakusa presence and their activities in the country would be considerably profitable for the Hells Angels, the Comanchero motorcycle club and the Aussie Cartel. The goal is to initiate their expansion over the Yakusa in Australia and to push it as far as in Japan. According to their plans, they are and will be supported by the Sinaloa Cartel for a part of the gains obtained and it would be done by the end of 2023. They told their mens to prioritize the capture, mostly for torture and interrogation before killing and for selling but to kill right away if they can not capture. This is what members having close ties with Hells Angels chapter leaders are talking about. Some members of the Hells Angels and of the Sinaloa Cartel had already start moving to Australia. The mens had been told to get the job done by any means, even by mass killing if needed. If you are directly involved let your comrades know so you can be prepared for what is happening before it is too late to prevent the bloodbath and your fall!
I was personally expecting Joey to intervene at the last second in a Smash Bros style “A new challenger approaches” moment to prolong the saga.
Acting 10 out of 10! Ken Watanabe approves!
This feels like a fever dream. It's always a pleasure watching these videos. Hope your ear is fine now!
Easily one of the best series on YT. The team killed it for this season.
I love how with the parasailing the first time joey seems to have the more chill energy compared to chris being terrified and the second time when it was more turbulent you could sense joey being a bit nervous while Natsuki was having a blast
Chris jinxed the second time for Joey 😏

Congrats Chris, this turned out amazing.
I’ve had a perforated eardrum and they suck! It’s not necessarily the pain you expect but it feels uncomfortable and you have to avoid getting it wet which is a pain too. Mine healed up but now I have hearing problems in that one so hopefully Chris’ healed better than mine did.

I agreed. But my ex-wife said she'd never get tired of me. Now she's divorced me, taken the kids, and left me with little money to keep buying McDonalds every weekend. She's a disgusting parasite of a human being, but I fully agree with your sentiment.
Big props to Chris continuing to present after perforating his ear drum. That’s seriously impressive! Good job Chris!
Absolute killer way to end this season, Chris! I do feel terribly bad about your eardrum; can't even imagine what kind of hell that was. You're still keeping up the title of the most affable man though, as you carried on and finished filming!
I’m impressed you’ve managed to capture the 30 minutes a year that Kabira Bay isn’t full of hundreds of tourists
Japan was also closed off from outside travelers. I think Joey also said that they went in April, which for Japan is the ending/beginning of their fiscal year (and achool year...hence the cherry blossoms in a lot of school-related anime at the start of the year), so people might not have been able to get time off if work was chaotic.
... Or maybe Natsuke told everybody to go f*ck themselves while Ryotaro was waving around his sword 😜
when Chris opened the door I was expecting a very behaved introduction but Ryotaro just starts singing welcome to the jungle and the boys responded with the same energy XDD, so much better that I thought
That timing of the music coming in, the can going click from opening and the drum hitting in synchronisation was absolutely icing on the cake. @Abroad in Japan that made my evening. Holy!

I had to wait 2 days to play this video... because my GF was busy with work. But now, finally, we sat down and watched the epic final for this season. Thanks for all the hard work of the team, the guests, and, of course, the editing. You are the GOAT.

Chris, I hope you get comments like this often. But my man you absolutely kill it. Your videos, the quality of content, the snarky British humor, you've got it all. It's my favorite thing to get home from work and see a AIJ upload. We appreciate you, keep it up!
I went parasailing by myself when I weighed 58kg. The wind kept me in the sky. The boat came back into shore where i was told to put all my weight on the left side. As I slowly descended I lost the wind behind a building and fell straight down to earth about 2 stories, smashing the air from my lungs. Winding me in the process. Fantastic experience 10/10 would get winded again.
watching this while colder weather creeps in is such a positive escape!
