Toolbox Tuesday #8: The Inclusive Contracting Toolkit

The topic of the first Toolbox Tuesday session of 2024 was inclusive contracting, with a focus on inclusive economic recovery strategies to address societal disparities. The discussion highlighted the importance of equitable procurement and the resources provided in SCAG's "Inclusive Contracting Toolkit" (see link below). To show how agencies can use procurement to support the growth of small businesses, the session featured external speakers Jill Bengochea (HR&A), Audrey Chang (Children’s Hospital Los Angeles), Gloria Burton (Southern California Edison), Maria Agrusa (Orange County Procurement) and Jennifer Kropke (Port of Long Beach).
