It's not easy if I have to spend $400 to program my key.

Hi, You were on System Key 1 when you turned steering lock on, after that you seem to be on System Key 2 how did you switch from system key 1 to system key 2?

Why do I need a programmer to program my CWTWBU729? 2011 Nissan Versa does not have a push button start?
Is it possible to program a new key (meaning the electronic key) using this SKP1000 without overriding the original key? I have an identical electronic infinity key like the one in the video, but I recently bought a new one (indentical to the first one) so that I could have a fully functional spare key. The only trouble is that we used some kind of device similar to the SKP you're using here and it simply refused to let both keys work simultaneously. One would promgram just fine but at the expense of losing complete/total function/ability of the other key. Thanks !!!

Hey I got 07 g35x. Recently car wouldn't start just dash would lit up. Im trying to check the fuses in ipdm but I can't figure out to open it. I done it before on another car a long time ago. And here im stuck cant open the ipdm box cover. Any tips on this?

I own a 2004 Nissan 350zr, and this key I have is the Master which I use daily....The 2nd Key (is cut - transponder not programmed yet), and a New switch blade type (not cut/transponder not programmed). Will this SPK1000 fix it? ......I would like to buy this Programmer for myself as well soon. Please help,....thank you

Yes it does but it does not need tokens
i infiniti 2012 ex35 After i install my new bcm and program my keys, the tpms light is on. the tpms light is not on with the old bcm. any idea how i fix the tpms light?
Probably have to program the sensor codes to the bcm? Might need a different tool
Tpms reset or adaptation.

SKP1000 has a tons of cars it doesn't work on, even though it lists them. No china programmer supports 100% of cars on the market, gotta get MVP Pro for that.
Of course, but what goeorge is not saying is chinese tools works for some cars, probably not all on the car list in skp1000 or SBB or any other chinese tool. The problem is to get to know what it works for. You can not trust the chinese and usually there is no documentaton.I have MVP PRO it is good and expensive, it can not do all cars. But the documentation is correct, you can read what is working and not and trust in it. New Smart PRO is 4000-5000 USD and program a key is 1-2 tookens 40 usd a piece.

john1240able they are wrong. For long lasting engine, change it every 60,000 miles
Manufacturer says 100k, which is bs. 60k should be more like it. iirc, there should be a filter in the cvt fluid warmer/cooler housing.

I want to program an extra key for my wifes Murano. I have the same programmer but the menu isn't too user friendly. My wifes Murano has the Prox Intelligent key. No key slot.

I am real hesitant to do an "All Keys" program because If I screw things up... my wife won't be able to drive her car.
I've went thru the SKP1000 menu and none of the cars listed seem like USA Models... Most of them I have never heard of. I'm guessing that I would have to go by "System Type" and I am not really sure what options to put in (Type 1, Type 2 System... etc)

Hi George, I just found your video and it is very informative. I'm a young tech and me what to invest in a Key programming tool, but having difficulty making a decision on which one to buy. I have been looking at Autel MI508, Bosscomm KMAX 850, Autek Ikey820 and have just come across SKP1000 on your channel. factors I'm considering are capabilities and cost, your advice here will be very much appreciated

Do not touch this skp1000, it is only good for a few Nissans and Infiniti.
Ikey820 has about the same price as skp1000 but is a lot more capable and versatile. Actually, it is an awesome tool for its price. Skp1000 can’t even get to its ankle. Unfortunately, it is not being developped anymore and its new version is called Bosscomm or something
Great low budget first tool.
Im508 is the most capable of all for about $1000.00. Note that skp & ikey cannot handle BMW Mercedes VW. Im508 steps up and with another 1k you can get xp400 and the Gbox2 that are essential accessories if you wanna do these cars.
PS: if your budget is really low, get skp900 instead of skp1000; i know skp1000 seems more recent and, yes it is, but it was a trick developped based on the skp900 success.
I own skp1000 ikey820 and im508 and believe me the skp1000 sits at home like a good nanny.

Aye bro i have a 2006 g35 infiniti its a twist push start my fob completely broke ive called so many people for a new key but they can't make a new key because the alarm stays on any help on what i can do thanks

George, I have a 2013 Infiniti G37 and lost one of the two smart key fobs. I found that Dormant Co. offers a after market smart key fob (part # 99159) and programmer for around $90.00. Is this something that you feel is a good option for a person on a tight budget?

Installed a battery in a 2007 Infiniti m35 and the key won't work . I wish I had this tool . I had to deal with upset customer.
my spare key has been dead for over a year because I forgot to change the key battery. Last month I changed the key and unfortunately the key fob will not work with my car any more, even it's inserted in the key slot. Can I somehow fix this issue without purchasing this tool ?
Get it programmed backed in. All keys need to be present.
try disconnecting the battery for 20 or 30 mins this worked for me on a 2014 pathfinder

So technically the key was mated to the original BCM? Meaning it was a "used key"? then you mated that key to the new BCM? Will the customer be able to use his other keys to the new BCM or will that need to be manually input too? Was there any renew sequence for that fob prior to mating?
