We custom build each car to custom specifications decided on which each individual client, so the HP/TQ rating will depend greatly on what engine the choose. The short answer is exactly as the Grease Monkey in Mad Max 1 says "Speed is just a question of money. How fast to YOU want to go?". And these cars absolutely do draw a TON of attention everywhere they go. Plan to have an hour or more spare just to go get gas. You will inevitably be talking to people that long.
For the Mad Max Interceptor and the Batmobile Where do you go to buy one, and can you get one in Automatic with the steering wheel on the Left side cause I think the Australian vehicles have it on the right side. Besides that absolutely beautiful work keep it up.

I'm pretty sure the Aussie Falcon coupes weren't ever sold overseas, so they're only available in RHD. That said, a competent custom shop like this can likely convert it for you if necessary.
@@aussiebloke609 Converting it too l/h drive would devalue the car greatly as they are pretty rare on Australian roads nowadays and examples don't come cheap even in poor conditions.
re your comment on bracing the door lock area - XC falcons are all braced in the door area due to whats called the ADR's or Australian Design Rules whiuch are govt safety standards for vehicle compliance. the large metal inner bars are called side impact barriers. On XC's they are physically 10 times bigger and stronger than XA or XB's. In real terms the XA's are new bodies on XY series falcons so had minimal ADR reqs. XC's have a stronger parcel shelf design and the panels and spot welded panels all vary in design to comply with the relevant ADR for the period of build. So when you talk about how different each falcon is, then it will actually be due to different ADR reqs for rach models manuf compliance. you'll find that even the instrument panel mounts all vary due to meeting new ADR reqs etc....
Thank you for that background. Very interesting! We are aware of many running changes minor and major throughout the XA-XC run. The ADR element is a intriguing element to add in understanding the history and influence behind some of those changes. Funnily enough I scanned through this video and did not see the reference to the door bracing you are speaking of. I think you may have seen that on our "Birds of Prey S1EP2" that was recently posted, and the comment may have gotten on the wrong video somehow. Just a guess. @@MadMaxCars yep, i realised after posting that i was responding to another video, but then figured that you would work it out anyway 😁. Its an easy way to establish if a vehicle has been repaired if you suddenly find that your XA or XB has magically ended up with a massive SIB inside the door frame. The early ones are pathetically skinny and really only tension the door skin. They don’t offer much additional protection
@@gfenwick1 Lol, yeah. That XC door is on an XB actually, so its a replacement for sure. Was not at all surprised to see the upgrade. We do see those early doors all the time, so very familiar with the narrow side impact bar. I imagine they offer zero protection beyond the tensioning of the door skin.
@@MadMaxCars You can also see if your XA has magically turned into an XB or XC by the fuel gauge. XA's swing in the opposite direction. :) Conversely, a lot of ppl preferred the XA coupe tail lights over the XB / XC coupe (so do I)

We actually do restore far more Falcons to Stock or GT clone type specs. Like this car you saw in the above video for example: ruclips.net/video/WRvxIWd-l2E/видео.html Generally the worst possible examples are rescued for the Mad Max replicas, like this one: ruclips.net/video/S-beKLB9Ti8/видео.html We generally hope that ground up restoring them and saving them from the tip (as the car in that linked video was) is better than seeing them get recycled into a tin cans or a new Toyota. I really don't see how that is a waste. Its literally saving them from being wasted.
