This law needs to find its way over to Maryland. I’ve witnessed at least two rear endings in stopped traffic in one hour. I still filter anyway. Safety under my control is worth the potential ticket.
@@AndrewHartsock you liked my picture in the Z900 (United States) group and when I saw the notification I was like "hey... I recognize that name from somewhere" 🤔 😂 lol Awesome to see that lane filtering was passed though! I wish that Washington state would do the same.
Driving motorcycle without lane splitting/filtering is absolutely without sens. Thankfully in Europe we got this possibility. I can't imagine standing in traffic in hot summer day on motorcycle... Im happy for you, that you will have this rule soon . :)) Greetings from Poland
Good to see you back Andrew. I am pleased that your laws have changed. We have been able to filter in the uk for as long as I can remember and people in cars still get angry but it’s just jealousy ha ha. Glad things are picking up for you 👍🏻
Just found your channel and subbed. I'm a fellow z900 rider and down in the far east valley, near CG. I am happy about the law change, but I'll be a little cautious at first, until more cagers get a little used to the idea.
Always blew my mind how can lane splitting be illegal on a motorcycle? Especially even more so in hotter climate states. We're just lucky in California to have it and I told myself if I ever move out of state that doesn't allow it I'll probably quit riding on the spot as it defeats the purpose and if I gotta sit in traffic with 120° heat from above and 230° below between my legs getting crispy and well done with gear and helmet in the middle, no thx I'd rather sit in an ac, windows up and listen to my music caged up! It's just plain stupid to NOT allow lane splitting LEGALLY EVERYWHERE in the US period!
I’m back!!! Thanks for tuning in everyone. Are you excited or worried about the new lane filtering law?
So pumped

i am thinking about get this bike as my second bike. its between mt-07, triumph trident, z900 and R7. what do you think i should get?
Really depends on you and how you like to ride. I wouldn’t know the answer
Lane "filtering" makes us, the riders, safer. Lane splitting alleviates traffic congestion.
Let’s go ride sometime!
