I have gotten more free things ( tapes..books..videos etc.) every since I have known him & his ministry..So many insights from his( free) magazines & even his partner letters.. When I give my offering..no matter how small..I know it's seed 2× blessed because he sews into other ministries & ministers all over the world..he is a great teacher &;I learn so much of God through his ministry..he just doesn't believe you have to be poor..I was raised like that & it is not fun & a lie from the enemy...God will bless you when you are a giver.. I am grateful for these teachings. I would implore everyone who has something to say about this brother to really listen to his teachings on his channel and ask for discernment. It is through recent teachings that the Word of God and how to walk by faith has really come alive for me. Bro Copeland speaks fervently about reading and studying the Word for yourself and seeking God continually. It is baffling to me that so many people have a problem with his wealth that he uses to further reach more people with the true gospel, but have nothing to say about anyone in the world who has wealth especially when it is often used for wicked purposes. Kenneth Copeland has bought hundreds and hundreds of houses with money out of his own pocket as well as about 400-500+ cars from what I understand. Much of this was done BEFORE he was wealthy. He gave out of his need for years. He trusted God totally and stood on the scripture, "Give and it shall be given unto you - good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom. He has so much now because everything he's done for so many others over the decades (the things he doesn't talk about publicly) is coming back to him. You can't out-give God. But people who don't understand the biblical concept of giving - AND - people who don't know his humble beginnings like living in a broken-down neighborhood with all condemned houses except for theirs are the ones who have a problem with how God has blessed them. Folks don't know they only had a coffee pot to heat up potatoes which is all they ate for quite a while, yet STILL gave to others when they were able - all in obedience to God. Been following Kenneth Copeland since around 1979. His teachings changed my life for the better. *He preached that we need to make the Word of God final authority in our life.* If the Bible said to do or not do something, that settled the matter. So many commenters here are haters of Kenneth Copeland. My brother was in the same group. I told him, *"You've listened to critics of Kenneth Copeland far more than you've listened to Kenneth Copeland."* I believe the same is true of these critics.
So true! It was the CRITICS that made me listen to him at first. So, maybe it’s thank God for the critics, because it backfires. I wanted to see if he was or was not what they said, because I do NOT make my determinations based on other’s opinions, but they were so hell-bent against him, I wanted to see if he was really so bad, or needed defending, as the “ministries” that were against him seemed so angry, and petty, and just their whole demeanor was very telling. The very looks on their faces were that of the typical smirking, self-satisfied narcissist with whom we are all so, all too familiar. Same with people like Mark Driscoll, so much hate was directed at him, so I checked him out, and he has always been straight up biblically accurate, from what I’ve seen. They maybe don’t like masculine men. He does push for biblically strong men to take their positions and take biblical control over their wayward households, which is a good thing. We need manly men doing manly things. Home and life isn’t secure unless they do. I listened to him, and not just for 5 minutes, but a few sermons, and never did he ask for money, never did he go against the Bible and he said to start the day with conferring with God, learn to listen to Him, let Him order all your steps, and obey Him immediately. Obey God, and His word is not negotiable. I determined the haters were wrong. They hear what he is NOT saying, and they do not hear what he IS saying. They jump to conclusions and do not listen. They nitpick. They take things out of context. Sound bites are used that way, out of context. They’re rabid. And people insist there is no “prosperity gospel” in the Bible. Well, their definition and the biblical definition are 2 different things, although it is not worded as a “prosperity gospel”. There IS prosperity TEACHING in the Bible. It is EVERYWHERE in the Bible. And because gospel means “good news”, there IS a prosperity gospel in the Bible. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, etc. were all “excessively wealthy”. Does any preacher today have land as far as the eye can see? Countless for,s of transportation? Orchards, vineyards, and countless personal servants? Yes, they have employees, some personal. As they should, so they can focus their day on serving God, not overwhelming chores and not serving a boss who serves mammon. People forget that if they have a daily job and that company doesn’t serve God, then they, too, are serving Mammon. And they forget that money can either be in the hands of those who serve God, or those who serve Satan. If one is opposed to biblical financial teachings, one is opposed to God. Since they are SO against Christians having wealth, then they are SO for Satan’s people having it. Period. If there were more giant companies run by Christians instead of Satan’s minions, evil would not have been able to rise up as it has. They would NOT have supported “pride month” and given it HUGE acceptance and visibility. Just imagine if it were Christians who owned big social media platforms, online stores like Amazon, and insurance companies (most of which were sending the perverted books to schools, if they aren’t still doing so), and so forth.
So yes, there IS a prosperity gospel in the Bible. It just isn’t what haters think it is. It doesn’t mean you give X amount of dollars and get X amount back. But-We DO need to sow seeds to harvest. Do they go out into their backyards in the summertime, expecting to pick fruit and vegetables, without having planted anything? The Bible says to SCATTER your seeds (sow into different places, plant variety, not all one thing, so that’s different ministries, different places that serve God in different ways); and make sure it’s in fertile soil (important, make sure it’s in places with less overhead, that maximizes whatever goals they have, teaching different aspects of the Word, such as: general salvation and obedience; healing (like John G, Lake, now Curry Blake’s ministry), deliverance, serving the poor--but while we do help all we can, Jesus DID say if we love him, to care for the lambs and sheep. He is not a goat herder, he didn’t chase down the goats, he waited for them to come to him, people can repel others forever when they hunt goats, regardless of their good intentions, they may have come to God sooner without interference, pray for God to draw them and for the right person to cross their path, and Jesus told us-no one comes to the Father unless He draws them. Note that Jesus didn’t do any miracles for anyone without faith, or faith by someone who requested it for them, he wasn’t multiplying food for just anyone, but those who sought him and stayed beyond their own food supply, because hearing him was more important to them than eating, etc. He is the Good Shepherd, not goat herder. “If anyone hears his voice…”, not if they won’t, then the message is for them. Never did he go into the marketplace or door to door (people who misinterpret the Bible think the disciples did. The going from house to house was EACH OTHER’S houses, to hold gatherings, as the real church should, not only have sermons with no gatherings of interaction where people give input to each other, feedback, added points or correction. This is what real church should be. Sermons are great, and right, but are only one piece of church. The rest has been missing); make sure to nurture it, (repeat you faith in it, follow through when God guides you to act); and guard it from pests and weeds (don’t tell people your plans and they won’t come to trample your garden or set fire to it, protect it from your own mouth speaking defeat over it, etc.). So much more to it, but Christians SHOULD have their own airlines, no TSA violating our 4th amendment rights “for our own good”, which is how all oppressive governments begin, of course preachers do not have time to sit around waiting for commercial airline schedules and delays. They do not need to be sitting around, wasting their time on layovers, etc., sometimes trying to get to where commercial airlines don’t even go. They need to guarantee they can be there. People, sometimes thousands or tens of thousands of people are traveling to be there too, to see them. They need to be reliable, even if it’s a smaller place with locals. People are counting on them. (And it’s OK if they use the same plane for their vacations, duh). And they should have FLEETS, for their staff to go serve as well. The work of God should have no restraints on it, I don’t know what tiny minds are thinking, but they’re thinking small for God, and are very petty). They also need to pray, get organized and RELAX before they arrive as well. Kenneth, Jesse and others do not charge any fee to go, no appearance fee, they do not charge anyone to attend anything they do, they do not keep the collections or take any portion when they go visit a church, they may draw more people because of their preaching, but the money collected goes to the HOST church, it’s not for themselves. It’s OK if many times their hotel rooms are comped by the hotel, or even upgraded to the finest suite in the hotel. It’s OK if God blesses them with even multiple houses bug and grand, the better to host others. God said he’d increase our tents (houses plural, in size and quantity), borders (our land, real estate), servants (employees, people forget these ministries are going what Jesus said, looking after the sheep, giving the, jobs, taking care of their families,we are supposed to be doing that); orchards and vineyards (our food supply AND sources of income); and he’d increase…yep, our gold and silver. Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God AND its righteousness, and THEN… ALL. THINGS, THINGS, THINGS will be ADDED unto you, you, you. Get your reasons right first, then God will give abundantly. And Kenneth, Jesse and others have done just that. We are all supposed to be doing this, then the world would have choices not to support evil businesses, but the ones who represent God’s will. But they can’t if they’re scraping to get by. So many “ministries” from small-minded, petty haters, who spend their whole time “warning everyone” about “prosperity teaching” are going to have a LOT to answer for to God. He will ask why they worked SO HARD to hinder His work, to keep His people poor, to keep them from the very wealth and power He wants His people to have, so they can properly represent His kingdom here, to set the VISIBLE example of godly people and God’s principles. He will demand an explanation. Why couldn’t they think BIG for God? Why were they the wicked servant of the parable of the talents, who thought the master (God) was miserly, and did NOT seek to double his money? Some preachers LOVE to try to turn this from the biblical definition of a talent (a measurement of money) into “skills”. Sure, use that as a secondary meaning, but he meant money. Why hinder the master’s household by hiding the money, refusing to double it? The ones who sought to invest their money, not hide it under the proverbial mattress, were the ones rewarded. These spiteful little men (I’m talking to you, Justin Peters and Off the Kirb, among others. It’s their full time job to demonize other preachers and “warn” and “expose” everyone, because they have no eyes to see nor ears to hear). Why do so many want God’s people to have the LEAST, the worst, not the BEST? They are representing GOD, the provider, the creator of all things beautiful. It’s OK to have good things. Jesus wasn’t poor, didn’t wear rags and wasn’t wrapped in whatever was lying around when he was born. Mary was a good mother, God wouldn’t entrust His son ti just anyone. She would have had her baby clothes, ointments, etc. all set to go, gathering them immediately as all good mothers do, during her pregnancy. He was given gold. God financed his life well. It’s either God’s people or Satan’s, these same people do not condemn their favorite sports stars, actors and singers for THEIR “excessive wealth”. God never called His “extremely wealthy” servants in the Bible “greedy”. He called them “BLESSED”.
@@fightinfetus So well said! I taught our church on the Covenant of Prosperity last week. The truth of the Word of God concerning financial prosperity is undeniable. What some "prosperity preachers" did was abuse those principals and tell their audience that their answer to all their problems is to write a check to the preacher's ministry. There was much greed and pride in the movement. I've never heard Kenneth arm-twist in the offering, but I have heard others do the same. I went to the meeting of one of them and when it was clear that the offering that he just took up wasn't enough, he told the men to all stand up, which I did. He then told them to take out their wallet and give the largest bill that they had in their wallet. I just crossed my arms. I wanted to rebuke him, saying that we're not to give under compulsion (2 Cor. 9:7), but the Lord told me not to rebuke an older man (1 Timothy 5:1).
And faith can go in the opposite direction. Wish the religious folks could truly just "live and let live". Instead, it's a constant game of recruitment/evangelism, guilt (He died for YOUR sins - now feel guilty and join my religion), PEDOPHILIA and lies. Not to mention the sheer amount of hypocrisy. I've seen it too many times, with my own eyes: "Christians" who talk a nice talk who almost always end up being racist and lacking in empathy - and just end up being everything they speak out against. In fact, I've noticed that projection is extremely common with them. The more someone talks about their religion, especially when first meeting them, the more I've learned to be wary and keep my distance. I wish I didn't have this all to type, but I've been burned by these folks more times than I'd like to admit because I'm too damned trusting and try to see the good in others. I've always tried to see the good in others before I write them off as terrible people. Yet - I'm agnostic and strongly dislike religion (spirituality is awesome in my book, though). Yet - I can still be a good person, or try to be the best person I can be without the threat of going to hell. I don't need to be threatened to treat people well. Why is that such a hard concept for some to comprehend? Another "yet" - Yet I'm considered the "bad guy" to them. Meanwhile, I'm a very empathetic person. I love animals. I'm all for human rights and equality. I hate seeing people or animals in pain. I love to see people succeed. Yet I'm not religious whatsoever and don't even quite believe in (or know enough to say that there is a) god or God. And another thing real quick: just how many "gods" are and were there? Again, it's disturbing how a bunch of plagiarized stories - that were all written from verbal accounts, from thousands of years ago - is credible (and logical) enough to have people literally kill others over it. It looks insane when viewed objectively. If you're just talking about spirituality, then this isn't directed towards you - and I apologize. My beef is with religion: specifically the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) because they were all built to be at odds with each other. How billions of people don't notice that is mind boggling to me.

I've never heard Kenneth Copeland say anything bad about another minister. Yet some preachers have about made a denomination of putting to own "word of faith" preachers. I hardly ever hear other preachers preach on Mark 11:23 24 and 25. God bless Brother Copeland.

I know this Man is a bonefied preacher. Hes preaching this as I was 1 yrs old. When I was 20 this same Man led me to Jesus. Now Im 52 yrs old and my Son and I still ejoy this premium Word of Faith. I've waited a long time for this. In the early 90's I was in the ministry and happened across a collection of his tapes. When the spirit came upon him, it was the most intense preaching I've ever heard. Gloria was my God mother with her Fruits of the Spirit. I don't know what happened to them in more recent years, with the goo goo gaga baby talk, like he's pretending to speak in tongues while talking baby talk to his congregation. But my Bible teaches that God can use false prophets to deliver his Word. So regardless of what Copeland is all about, his early sermons are the most powerful of them all in my estimation.

It looks like he started well. Today, he preaches about his life experiences and wealth. I think over the years, the Bible was simply never enough for him. You see, once one has plenty of life experiences accumulated over the years, those become his new truth, and the Bible will only be used to support his experiences by taking all its verses out of context.
When a man get holds of God's Word and it begins to burn in the inside of him you get consumed with fire and power. When you discover God is this close, close in your heart, not a million miles away you have supernatural power.

The Bible says blessed are those who bless you and cursed are those who curse you, so by saying what you're saying you're actually putting a curse on yourself. I used to think these things about him too until I met him in person and started learning what he's done for the kingdom. He's flown to remote areas and areas all over the world and led people to Christ. The fruit is undeniable.

There's always been a problem with this kind of teaching about faith and that is it's presented like some kind of invisible force we have to 'summon up' or else there's something wrong with us if we can't. I have yet to hear a sermon from Kenneth Copeland about how faith works BY LOVE, and how that LOVE leads believers to take up the cross and walk as Jesus did. He said "Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13). The gospel is full of scriptures about how a big part of that is sharing in the suffering of Christ to also share in His glory (Romans 8:17). Take away the very necessary part of walking the way of the cross, of suffering and enduring with Christ in order to share in the things of the Kingdom and we get a really skewed version of what it means to walk by faith. 1 Corinthians 13 says 'If I have a faith that moves mountains but have not LOVE, it's for nothing.' Where is the demonstration in his life of LOVE being the motivating force behind the faith? It's never there.
Actually there are many other sermons from both of them with the same title, just search on RUclips. Some of the greatest revelation about God's love I received, came from the teachings of Kenneth Copeland.

I am grateful for these teachings. I would implore everyone who has something to say about this brother to really listen to his teachings on his channel and ask for discernment. Been following Kenneth Copeland since around 1979. His teachings changed my life for the better. *He preached that we need to make the Word of God final authority in our life.* If the Bible said to do or not do something, that settled the matter. So many commenters here are haters of Kenneth Copeland. My brother was in the same group. I told him, *"You've listened to critics of Kenneth Copeland far more than you've listened to Kenneth Copeland."* I believe the same is true of these critics.

So true! It was the CRITICS that made me listen to him at first. So, maybe it’s thank God for the critics, because it backfires. I wanted to see if he was or was not what they said, because I do NOT make my determinations based on other’s opinions, but they were so hell-bent against him, I wanted to see if he was really so bad, or needed defending, as the “ministries” that were against him seemed so angry, and petty, and just their whole demeanor was very telling. The very looks on their faces were that of the typical smirking, self-satisfied narcissist with whom we are all so, all too familiar.
Same with people like Mark Driscoll, so much hate was directed at him, so I checked him out, and he has always been straight up biblically accurate, from what I’ve seen. They maybe don’t like masculine men. He does push for biblically strong men to take their positions and take biblical control over their wayward households, which is a good thing. We need manly men doing manly things. Home and life isn’t secure unless they do.
I listened to him, and not just for 5 minutes, but a few sermons, and never did he ask for money, never did he go against the Bible and he said to start the day with conferring with God, learn to listen to Him, let Him order all your steps, and obey Him immediately. Obey God, and His word is not negotiable.
I determined the haters were wrong. They hear what he is NOT saying, and they do not hear what he IS saying. They jump to conclusions and do not listen. They nitpick. They take things out of context. Sound bites are used that way, out of context. They’re rabid.
And people insist there is no “prosperity gospel” in the Bible. Well, their definition and the biblical definition are 2 different things, although it is not worded as a “prosperity gospel”. There IS prosperity TEACHING in the Bible. It is EVERYWHERE in the Bible. And because gospel means “good news”, there IS a prosperity gospel in the Bible. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, etc. were all “excessively wealthy”. Does any preacher today have land as far as the eye can see? Countless for,s of transportation? Orchards, vineyards, and countless personal servants? Yes, they have employees, some personal. As they should, so they can focus their day on serving God, not overwhelming chores and not serving a boss who serves mammon. People forget that if they have a daily job and that company doesn’t serve God, then they, too, are serving Mammon.
And they forget that money can either be in the hands of those who serve God, or those who serve Satan. If one is opposed to biblical financial teachings, one is opposed to God. Since they are SO against Christians having wealth, then they are SO for Satan’s people having it. Period. If there were more giant companies run by Christians instead of Satan’s minions, evil would not have been able to rise up as it has. They would NOT have supported “pride month” and given it HUGE acceptance and visibility.
Just imagine if it were Christians who owned big social media platforms, online stores like Amazon, and insurance companies (most of which were sending the perverted books to schools, if they aren’t still doing so), and so forth.
So yes, there IS a prosperity gospel in the Bible. It just isn’t what haters think it is. It doesn’t mean you give X amount of dollars and get X amount back.
But-We DO need to sow seeds to harvest. Do they go out into their backyards in the summertime, expecting to pick fruit and vegetables, without having planted anything? The Bible says to SCATTER your seeds (sow into different places, plant variety, not all one thing, so that’s different ministries, different places that serve God in different ways);
and make sure it’s in fertile soil (important, make sure it’s in places with less overhead, that maximizes whatever goals they have, teaching different aspects of the Word, such as:
general salvation and obedience; healing (like John G, Lake, now Curry Blake’s ministry), deliverance, serving the poor--but while we do help all we can, Jesus DID say if we love him, to care for the lambs and sheep. He is not a goat herder, he didn’t chase down the goats, he waited for them to come to him, people can repel others forever when they hunt goats, regardless of their good intentions, they may have come to God sooner without interference, pray for God to draw them and for the right person to cross their path, and Jesus told us-no one comes to the Father unless He draws them.
Note that Jesus didn’t do any miracles for anyone without faith, or faith by someone who requested it for them, he wasn’t multiplying food for just anyone, but those who sought him and stayed beyond their own food supply, because hearing him was more important to them than eating, etc. He is the Good Shepherd, not goat herder. “If anyone hears his voice…”, not if they won’t, then the message is for them. Never did he go into the marketplace or door to door (people who misinterpret the Bible think the disciples did. The going from house to house was EACH OTHER’S houses, to hold gatherings, as the real church should, not only have sermons with no gatherings of interaction where people give input to each other, feedback, added points or correction. This is what real church should be. Sermons are great, and right, but are only one piece of church. The rest has been missing);
make sure to nurture it, (repeat you faith in it, follow through when God guides you to act);
and guard it from pests and weeds (don’t tell people your plans and they won’t come to trample your garden or set fire to it, protect it from your own mouth speaking defeat over it, etc.).
So much more to it, but Christians SHOULD have their own airlines, no TSA violating our 4th amendment rights “for our own good”, which is how all oppressive governments begin, of course preachers do not have time to sit around waiting for commercial airline schedules and delays. They do not need to be sitting around, wasting their time on layovers, etc., sometimes trying to get to where commercial airlines don’t even go. They need to guarantee they can be there. People, sometimes thousands or tens of thousands of people are traveling to be there too, to see them. They need to be reliable, even if it’s a smaller place with locals. People are counting on them. (And it’s OK if they use the same plane for their vacations, duh). And they should have FLEETS, for their staff to go serve as well. The work of God should have no restraints on it, I don’t know what tiny minds are thinking, but they’re thinking small for God, and are very petty). They also need to pray, get organized and RELAX before they arrive as well.
Kenneth, Jesse and others do not charge any fee to go, no appearance fee, they do not charge anyone to attend anything they do, they do not keep the collections or take any portion when they go visit a church, they may draw more people because of their preaching, but the money collected goes to the HOST church, it’s not for themselves. It’s OK if many times their hotel rooms are comped by the hotel, or even upgraded to the finest suite in the hotel.
It’s OK if God blesses them with even multiple houses bug and grand, the better to host others. God said he’d increase our tents (houses plural, in size and quantity), borders (our land, real estate), servants (employees, people forget these ministries are going what Jesus said, looking after the sheep, giving the, jobs, taking care of their families,we are supposed to be doing that); orchards and vineyards (our food supply AND sources of income); and he’d increase…yep, our gold and silver. Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God AND its righteousness, and THEN… ALL. THINGS, THINGS, THINGS will be ADDED unto you, you, you.
Get your reasons right first, then God will give abundantly. And Kenneth, Jesse and others have done just that. We are all supposed to be doing this, then the world would have choices not to support evil businesses, but the ones who represent God’s will. But they can’t if they’re scraping to get by. So many “ministries” from small-minded, petty haters, who spend their whole time “warning everyone” about “prosperity teaching” are going to have a LOT to answer for to God. He will ask why they worked SO HARD to hinder His work, to keep His people poor, to keep them from the very wealth and power He wants His people to have, so they can properly represent His kingdom here, to set the VISIBLE example of godly people and God’s principles.
He will demand an explanation. Why couldn’t they think BIG for God? Why were they the wicked servant of the parable of the talents, who thought the master (God) was miserly, and did NOT seek to double his money? Some preachers LOVE to try to turn this from the biblical definition of a talent (a measurement of money) into “skills”. Sure, use that as a secondary meaning, but he meant money. Why hinder the master’s household by hiding the money, refusing to double it? The ones who sought to invest their money, not hide it under the proverbial mattress, were the ones rewarded. These spiteful little men (I’m talking to you, Justin Peters and Off the Kirb, among others. It’s their full time job to demonize other preachers and “warn” and “expose” everyone, because they have no eyes to see nor ears to hear).
Why do so many want God’s people to have the LEAST, the worst, not the BEST? They are representing GOD, the provider, the creator of all things beautiful. It’s OK to have good things. Jesus wasn’t poor, didn’t wear rags and wasn’t wrapped in whatever was lying around when he was born. Mary was a good mother, God wouldn’t entrust His son ti just anyone. She would have had her baby clothes, ointments, etc. all set to go, gathering them immediately as all good mothers do, during her pregnancy. He was given gold. God financed his life well.
It’s either God’s people or Satan’s, these same people do not condemn their favorite sports stars, actors and singers for THEIR “excessive wealth”. God never called His “extremely wealthy” servants in the Bible “greedy”.
He called them “BLESSED”.
@@fightinfetus So well said! I taught our church on the Covenant of Prosperity last week. The truth of the Word of God concerning financial prosperity is undeniable. What some "prosperity preachers" did was abuse those principals and tell their audience that their answer to all their problems is to write a check to the preacher's ministry. There was much greed and pride in the movement. I've never heard Kenneth arm-twist in the offering, but I have heard others do the same. I went to the meeting of one of them and when it was clear that the offering that he just took up wasn't enough, he told the men to all stand up, which I did. He then told them to take out their wallet and give the largest bill that they had in their wallet. I just crossed my arms. I wanted to rebuke him, saying that we're not to give under compulsion (2 Cor. 9:7), but the Lord told me not to rebuke an older man (1 Timothy 5:1).

I've seen it too many times, with my own eyes: "Christians" who talk a nice talk who almost always end up being racist and lacking in empathy - and just end up being everything they speak out against. In fact, I've noticed that projection is extremely common with them.
The more someone talks about their religion, especially when first meeting them, the more I've learned to be wary and keep my distance. I wish I didn't have this all to type, but I've been burned by these folks more times than I'd like to admit because I'm too damned trusting and try to see the good in others. I've always tried to see the good in others before I write them off as terrible people.
Yet - I'm agnostic and strongly dislike religion (spirituality is awesome in my book, though).
Yet - I can still be a good person, or try to be the best person I can be without the threat of going to hell. I don't need to be threatened to treat people well.

Another "yet" - Yet I'm considered the "bad guy" to them. Meanwhile, I'm a very empathetic person. I love animals. I'm all for human rights and equality. I hate seeing people or animals in pain. I love to see people succeed. Yet I'm not religious whatsoever and don't even quite believe in (or know enough to say that there is a) god or God. And another thing real quick: just how many "gods" are and were there? Again, it's disturbing how a bunch of plagiarized stories - that were all written from verbal accounts, from thousands of years ago - is credible (and logical) enough to have people literally kill others over it.
It looks insane when viewed objectively.
If you're just talking about spirituality, then this isn't directed towards you - and I apologize. My beef is with religion: specifically the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) because they were all built to be at odds with each other. I've never heard Kenneth Copeland say anything bad about another minister. Yet some preachers have about made a denomination of putting to own "word of faith" preachers. I hardly ever hear other preachers preach on Mark 11:23 24 and 25. God bless Brother Copeland.

I've waited a long time for this. In the early 90's I was in the ministry and happened across a collection of his tapes. When the spirit came upon him, it was the most intense preaching I've ever heard. Gloria was my God mother with her Fruits of the Spirit. I don't know what happened to them in more recent years, with the goo goo gaga baby talk, like he's pretending to speak in tongues while talking baby talk to his congregation. But my Bible teaches that God can use false prophets to deliver his Word. So regardless of what Copeland is all about, his early sermons are the most powerful of them all in my estimation.

It looks like he started well. Today, he preaches about his life experiences and wealth. I think over the years, the Bible was simply never enough for him. You see, once one has plenty of life experiences accumulated over the years, those become his new truth, and the Bible will only be used to support his experiences by taking all its verses out of context.

Well he now has a lot more money and has preached the gospel all around the world. Listen to this sermon you’ll still hear prosperity in this sermon.
There's always been a problem with this kind of teaching about faith and that is it's presented like some kind of invisible force we have to 'summon up' or else there's something wrong with us if we can't. I have yet to hear a sermon from Kenneth Copeland about how faith works BY LOVE, and how that LOVE leads believers to take up the cross and walk as Jesus did. He said "Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13). The gospel is full of scriptures about how a big part of that is sharing in the suffering of Christ to also share in His glory (Romans 8:17). Take away the very necessary part of walking the way of the cross, of suffering and enduring with Christ in order to share in the things of the Kingdom and we get a really skewed version of what it means to walk by faith. 1 Corinthians 13 says 'If I have a faith that moves mountains but have not LOVE, it's for nothing.' Where is the demonstration in his life of LOVE being the motivating force behind the faith? It's never there.
