- I am so excited to share this release with you all! This song has been in the making for a long time and holds a special place in my heart. This August marks the fourth wedding anniversary for my wife and me, and I originally composed this song for her when we first got engaged. I sang it to her at our engagement party and our wedding.
This music video features precious moments from those events, beautifully condensed from a 2 1/2-hour wedding video into this 4 1/2-minute song. I consider it a wedding gift to my wife, now fully produced as an anniversary gift for years later.
Over these four years, my wife has been my unwavering support and a true Eishes Chayil (woman of valor). Together, we have two wonderful children, and she has stood by me through the most challenging time of my life-these past two years since my father passed away. Her emotional support and encouragement have been invaluable, driving me to create this song for her because she truly embodies what it means to be an Eishes Chayil.
My late father, who appears in this video, once told me he thought she was an Eisha Tovah (good woman) while we were dating. Throughout the years he knew her, she proved him right by treating him like a father, with the utmost respect and care, giving him immense joy. Seeing me married to her made him incredibly happy.
He even had the chance to spend plenty of time with one of our children before he passed. On the day he passed away, we were all there for him, including my baby daughter, who gave him a smile that day-something made possible by my incredible wife’s dedication. She said it was a no-brainer and traveled with me from Lakewood to Baltimore at 1Am and arrived at 4 AM when we heard my father wasn't doing well the day he passed away, ensuring my father was okay and spending the next day by his side with me, while I was tending to him she was reading Tehillim and providing comfort.
After he passed, she was my pillar of strength, helping me keep going. There’s so much more I could say about her as a mother and wife, but for now, I hope you find joy and comfort in this song, just as my Eishes Chayil brings to me. Play it anytime (except Shabbos), but sing it at your Shabbos table a kumzitz or chupah, and let it bring warmth to your hearts.
This is the first song released from my upcoming album, which will be fully released next year. Thank you for listening and being a part of our story.
