Do you think it's possible to decrease the amount of chains that makes its width to crochet a slimmer diamond? I'm trying to do a D.I.Y. (no pattern) crochet plush with diamond patterns, but they're slimmer diamond shapes. (Think kind of like icicles)
Hey, if you want it slimmer I’d maybe try altering it from row 3 onwards so that you do one or two extra rows of ‘sc across’ before the next increase row, and mirror this on your decrease rows as well. You can then just increase up to 6 or 8 rather than 10. You could also try changing the pattern from row 3 so that instead of increasing by 2 in each increase round, you’re only increasing by 1 - the only problem with this is I’m not sure whether this would be detrimental to the diamond shape as really you want to be doing an equal amount of increases on both edges of the diamond.
This is so cool, you can definitely use them as appliques. Awesome work as always! ❤❤❤❤

@@CrochetTor I appreciate the suggestion! I can try it out before starting anything too crazy 🤣
