Hi Janie! I know you do not reply to comments but I thought I would give a suggestion on the stones in front of the door. Instead of 6 little stones, how about one big one that gives you a bigger landing pad and more of a vibe? I hope Jason sees this. It’s nice to hear your thoughts on what we comment😊
I agree. But, I thought those were temporary until they do their pathway from the house to her office? Echoing the floor of the greenhouse would be beautiful.
YES!!! In the greenhouse would be the perfect spot for Janey to keep the Norfolk Pine! I live in Zone 8b and bought one 8 years ago at Christmas - and I’ve kept it inside my sun room (in a large heavy clay pot - not terra cotta) where I just love it! It grows very slowly, so it might be just over 2 ft. taller now than when I bought it. I rotate it periodically (maybe 3 or 4 times a year) in front of a huge window but it is thriving beautifully, and yes, at Christmas I add tiny red velvet bows to the tips of several branches - just the perfect year-round large houseplant that brings me so much joy every day!
Jamie those two blue or purple plants you took out in front of your office. They were so pretty and still alive! I wanted to stop you and say put them behind the building behind your office in your potting section and let them live on. But I couldn’t of course. But the front of your office is still going to look great.❤
Can I just say I love your channel and you and your husband are the sweetest!! You guys just make me smile!! Really love the outside office evergreens, they look amazing!! Wishing you continued success with your channel! I’ll def be watching!
In my zone 5, 🇨🇦My proven winners ‘rocking playing the blues’ salvia is still going strong! I even cut some stems to bring inside and they are doing so well in the vase with some greenery! I have so many annuals in the ground that have not turned brown yet so I’m leaving them there. It pained me when I had to pull out annuals in my front urns to put in my seasonal greenery as I know snow is heading this way this week.
I'm lucky in zone 9 We have geraniums and begonias etc that bloom year round. They get nipped back but put out again in a few weeks. Thanks for posting your re do.
I love how fresh and clean those evergreens look and you can plant them out in the garden later on so it’s basically like they are free! See Jason it’s a great deal!! 😂
Christmas lights and a wreath! Looks beautiful! For the Norfolk, since it’s in a pot and not in the ground, you might want to pop into your office on cold days.
Haha! “I don’t believe you…” our perspective of a good deal can be so subjective can’t it?? 😂. This turned out beautifully, Janey!! Especially that pop of red from the camellia. ❤️
Jenny, love the plant combination that you came up with to the left and right of your office door. I must say that that Jupiter spiral looks stunning there. The height is perfect and the shape is what you need in that area. Plus, it is a striking balance with the tall light post in your garden just to the right. And the contrast on the left of the double ball topiary is just stunning. I can see where you’re thinking to move the both of them come spring to your garden area. But seriously, the both of those are perfect in framing your door.
Hi Jenny, love your videos, I’m in Florida zone 9 I can grow pretty much what u grow ,wanted to tell u I have pine treelike the one u just bought ,I bought it 25 years ago ago small like yours used as a Xmas tree planted it on the grown and it’s still surviving ,it’s at least 25 ft tall ,so I think u can do it , our winters go low sometimes 35 degrees.good luck
Hi Janey. Love what you’re doing in your garden. Just a thought, are you able to grow grass from your back porch to the office area to break up all that mulch. Maybe make a green path down to the greenhouse. Just a thought. Enjoy your ideas on your yard. Take care. Keep planting 🌻
Hi Janey❣️. The Norfolk Pine is small enough to move to the greenhouse on cold nights. I have one that lived indoors last year. This year it is thriving in my greenhouse in zone 8b.
I live 20ish miles down the road from you,I have a Norfolk pine outside in a pot for 2 years and it has done well in a bit of a sheltered spot. There are 2 Norfolk pines in my town that are in the ground. One of them is about 15’ Tall. I bet you could grow one in the ground!
I see the difference in front of your office, Monty has grown up this year!! Ha! Ha! You choice of evergreens and the placements are amazing! You and Jason are the greatest!!
Hi Janie, your Mystic Spires is a perennial here in North Texas, so I assume it would be for you, too. Mine blooms until we have a freeze. A superstar plant for sure! Love your climbing rose.
Good morning Jason and Jayne once again thank you for sharing such a wonderful video I enjoy with my morning cup of tea.. I hope you have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving! 💙💚💛🧡❤️💜 Liz
Will you be doing a Christmas/Winter wreath for your office door?? Hope so😊 Happy Thanksgiving to you, Jason & the girls. Monty, make sure they give you the turkey leg😊
I love the Camellia! Here in FL zone 10 those Norfolk Island pines get 80 feet tall (and they're considered potentially invasive when planted in the ground)! They are so cute when they're small tho!
So festive. Are you coming to the PNW NorthWest Flower Festival in February? Tickets are 50% off for black Friday through Dec 2nd. I got mine. I'm hoping to meet you and Katie from Hello Garden.
Looks beautiful. I’m surprised you didn’t under plant/pot up red and white cyclamen. Would add just the right touch and a bit more color. But maybe the point is less color?🤷♀️
Remember Jason, when a gardener uses the phrase, "It was a good deal." They are referring to gardening math. 😅 The front of the office looks great! With the addition of lights, will be stunning!
O goodness wish i was closer mystic spires are perennials here in Texas. I know its probably to late but if you trim it wayyyy back and stick it in ground it may come back. ❤ either way love the content keep pushing for your dreams
I've had a beautiful Norfolk Pine for 3 yrs now, and im in zone 8b. I bring it in once the temps drop below 55 at night and use it as my Christmas tree! I love it! 😊 Happy Thanksgiving!
Janey! Love this evergreen vibe. I saw this idea that if I ever had this set up it would be awesome to use. They just put grapevine wreaths over the plants and it sits on the rim of the pot. Looked so cute. Anyway, love everything you do and your joy is contagious ❤️
Well, good morning, you guys, you have done it again. Masterpiece looks great. I knew you could make it look great.. I see you have Monty's approval. Always good to have a fresh look. Have a great day the Oklahoma gardener.😊
Awww it’s so pretty!! I love it! Definitely need lights, they are just so fun 😊💕 And you can replant them in your garden! I’m pretty sure that calculates as free in garden math 😜
Oh my gosh, I love this look! Can eugenia be kept as an indoor plant? I love the topiaries I see being sold here in the summer, but they are definitely not hardy for my area.
I'm glad to hear you had a hard time taking the Salvia out because of the bees, too! I didn't get my fall pots done until late October because I felt so bad taking their flowers away 😮 The evergreens look great! Have a wonderful day!
I live in 9a central Florida, and I planted a Norfolk pine after Christmas last year and it's thriving really well, it has doubled in size, but I do realize you are on the other coast. Just thought it might be worth a try. Love your gardening podcast, look forward to watching every day! Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow Janey🌺 . You arranged these containers beautifully in front of the office entrance .The view of everygreen look so beautiful with the red camellia .I will get the norfolk pine it grow well in my area and you put it in protect area also you can plant another pine from it in container and put it at the entrance of the house . Happy thanksgiving to you and your family and have a great day .🌻🎄🌻
Love your channel! Have you tried overwintering your supertunias? Mine always come back, 3 years in a row now, It seems like a waste throwing them away. We are in Paso Robles CA, zone 8b I think.
We have Norfolk pines outdoors in 9b parts of Louisiana. As long as temps stay above 25 degrees they should be ok. I kept mine out in light frosts and it did great!
I keep my Norfolk Pine in my sun room and decorate it for Christmas. Too large to move in and out. I added a Lemon Cypress in there for the winter and will plant it out next spring. But the wonderful color and textures in the room with cactus, succulents, and Thanks Giving cactus in bloom. Happy Thanks Giving! Your gardens are beautiful!
I've not had good luck with Camelias. I only have two left of the ones I planted. The last one that died blew yellow leaves and is in the middle of defoliating.

I agree. But, I thought those were temporary until they do their pathway from the house to her office? Echoing the floor of the greenhouse would be beautiful.
The Norfolk pine would be pretty on the table in your greenhouse , decorated in bulbs for Christmas
I love watching you cut back your plants because it helps me not be afraid to cut back mine
The Norfolk pine would b great in your greenhouse!🌲🪴
Looks Beautiful!!!! ❤ A Christmas wreath on your office door would be gorgeous too!!!
Norfolk in the greenhouse❣️

Your office looks beautiful! Looking forward to seeing your awning go up over the door! That would be the “cherry on top “!!!
You know you have a greenhouse, right? 😊 you can move the evergreen there for the colder days.
Or, on the porch close to the house.
It's probably a little early
Jamie those two blue or purple plants you took out in front of your office. They were so pretty and still alive! Hahaha Jason “I don’t believe you”. 😂😂😂💚💚💚🎄🎄
😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
A wreath on the door? Looks amazing. You’re very talented.
Winter blooming camellia are my favourite!! Shiny dark leaves, gorgeous blooms😍😍
Seems like everyone likes the idea of the Norfolk in the greenhouse...it would be pretty there with white lights...and safe.
Jason questioning you about whether it was really a good deal or not. You have been doing your garden math again haven't you Janie! 😂😂😂
🤣
The Norfolk pine will look Georgeous in your greenhouse ❤️🎄
Very nice! So neat to see what others do outside of zone 6 😊
Put some Holly tone on your boxwood to green it up. It really works.
Thank you
I liked the red ribbons! Nice placement, really balances sides.
Can I just say I love your channel and you and your husband are the sweetest!! You guys just make me smile!! Really love the outside office evergreens, they look amazing!! Wishing you continued success with your channel! I’ll def be watching!
I was thinking the same thing, Janie! You guys make my day!❤
I would leave the plants with flowers until weather kills them. I love the color.
In my zone 5, 🇨🇦My proven winners ‘rocking playing the blues’ salvia is still going strong! I even cut some stems to bring inside and they are doing so well in the vase with some greenery! You could cut salvia and make a beautiful bouquet for the bees. 🐝🐝🐝
When I see couple working together I rejoice and you know even heaven rejoice, plants arrangement and new getup look is awesome, love it ❤

There is a Norfolk pine in the ground in Woodland. It's really tall 15 to 20 feet, but spindly, doesn't look that great.
So pretty, i love evergreens.
Hi Janie, your Mystic Spires is a perennial here in North Texas, so I assume it would be for you, too. Mine blooms until we have a freeze. A superstar plant for sure! Love your climbing rose.
The front of the office came out nice! Have you thought about installing a cement slab as a patio?
Happy Thanksgiving from Texas!
Good morning Jason and Jayne once again thank you for sharing such a wonderful video I enjoy with my morning cup of tea.. I hope you have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving! 💙💚💛🧡❤️💜 Liz

Looks great, good job!!
Love your video! Have you considered putting the Norfolk inside your office? I like them indoors....adds so much freshness and oxygen!
That tree is so gorgeous! 🌳🍁🍂🧡
I saw those same “living Christmas trees” at our HD here in Clovis. I was so tempted to get them. Maybe I’ll need to do that.
I have a Yuletide camellia, and I love it! I did a video about it on my channel, and I highly recommend it! Beautiful job, Janie!💚
You can move the salvia out on the garden Janey!
That looks great! I'll bet you can grow the Norfolk pine in your office if you get puesdo good light in there.
Really pretty!
So Beautiful 🥰
Janey, I think you need to turn the end of that video where Jason says, "I don't believe you," into a short a reel!! Haha!
Happy Thanksgiving ❤️

If it gets to cold for the Plant it would be beautiful in ur Office or Greenhouse 🥰
Does "a good deal" have anything to do with "gardener's math?" Hahahaha! 🤣Happy Thanksgiving Janey & Family 🥰💐🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴

Always good to have a fresh look. Have a great day the Oklahoma gardener.😊
Janie - i love all your selections especially the red camellia. Happy holidays to you and your family.
Another way to bring in Winter interest would be to select very colorful pots to plant these plants in.
Love!
I live in Orlando 9b-10a and norfolks grow here. Choose the warmest sunniest in AM with overhead protection and I think it will winter over.
Awww it’s so pretty!! I love it! Definitely need lights, they are just so fun 😊💕 And you can replant them in your garden! I’m pretty sure that calculates as free in garden math 😜
