Here's how to know when a Tsunami is coming, if you see the water going away from the shore and into a MASSIVE wave, you need to run as fast as possible to a safe place, my dad was a weatherman before I was born, he's the one that taught me all the storms and how to detect when a natural disaster is coming so if you have any storm related questions, don't hesitate to ask me
So how do we tell when a storm is coming? Or rather yet, how could a layman without access to internet and weather warnings tell the severity of a storm just by looking at the approaching clouds or, the weather from the past days or weeks and make a solid forecast based on that?
@@qwertymanseter You have to figure out which way the wind is blowing, if you see the clouds coming together and they appear to be puffy and dark go inside your house. If there is a tornado warning if your area and you are outside away from buildings, lay down low and protect your head with your arms above it, the tornado won't reach you and you'll be safe
If you fancy an innuendo laugh: listen to the choice of words from @02:49 …”then we saw two guys…” to “would’ve done enough damage with his fist let alone a pole”. 😂😂😂

I remember the bushfires. I live in the North Island of NZ and all of a sudden we woke up to a red glow on the horizon and an odd haze in the air. It took me all day to connect the dots and realize why.
The men are deliciously succulent. "Bondi," originally "Boondi" is an Aboriginal word which has the same meaning as the word "surf" in English. The first record of "bondi" by European-ancestry Australians was made between 1899 and 1903. It describes the meaning as "noise made by sea waves breaking on the beach," which is essentially the definition of "surf" in contemporary American English. The Australian Museum records that Bondi means place where a fight using bondi sticks (nulla nullas or fighting sticks) took place.

I love bondi beach. my mate who lives in waverly and i were down weekend before last taking photos of him late in the evening (i live in perth and was over for the weekend but used to live in sydney). even at night it is a beautiful beach. keep up the good work.
I once saw a little bushfire when we drove to Italy and even such a small fire just a few flames you could see, but a lot of smoke was scary, can imagine a big one near were you life
The fires started up in Northern nsw where the news ignored us. It started about august and we were covered n a blanket of smoke for months before it made its way south. Bondi didnt see anything like we did.
Man I hope that isn’t a sign of things to come..going to the beach is such a big part of our culture, and we’re so lucky in this country that we have so much freedom because we feel so safe. I’d hate to see that change.
If anyone was in Florida for the "Fire Storm of 98" it was Life Changing. My parents and Aunts started a fundraiser to buy out a local fast food shop to feed the front line workers.
Just watched the first part and I’m really hoping the man is ok and the attackers got caught and arrested. I don’t understand how you can do that on a packed beach full of family’s with small children including babies like where is their Brain?? They clearly don’t have one and I could only imagine they were on drugs because a normal sober person wouldn’t do that. Swinging a pole with a hook at the end is insane. I’d like to know if the victim and the attackers knew each other. Either way it was totally messed up and the attackers need to go to jail .
I feel sorry for you and anyone who lives in certain parts of the USA,having to deal with fires on those scales year after year. Thank god for people like Maxi.
'Community' is a great word isnt it???? My heart goes out every year for the folk who get caught up in bushfires. Was in Victoria a few years ago when Kinglake was decimated. We were housesitting only about 5-10 klms over the hill, one day we were picnicking and taking photos of the lyrebirds the next I was in tears as the town burnt down and many people were killed..... so sad. Take care this summer - 2024 - everyone around Australia.

@@BondiRescue Seeing that fire on here reminded me how bad it was. I'm still very upset you guys had to go through that.
I love how the lifeguards take care everyone else before they take care of themselves at bondi
This happened here in Washington too, for about 3 summers the woods burned, air was horrible. Fires were everywhere, this last summer was the first clear one, it was much cooler and there was more rain.
@korrinschilling9909 hope we don't get it too bad this summer man, I worked outside at the airport until recently, it was just absolutely horrendous
the beach during covid vs ww2 is so fascinating and interesting man. absolutely crazy.
Thank goodness for you lifeguards ,you all do an amazing job 👍☺️
Bondi Rescue is just the best. The lifeguards are my idols forever
All of the lifeguards are amazing, such incredible people ❤ you all do so much for people in trouble, it's inspiring, I would love to do what you do 👏👏👏
I just can't even imagine a 36° day. It was 22° here in Edmonton last week and I thought I was melting.
I’m in Calgary and it was only a couple years ago that I ever saw 40 🥵 they should pass a bylaw to run only the buses with A/C during the day in that weather. I was afraid the driver of my bus would pass out.

Epic!!! This was a treat to watch. Fresh content I haven’t seen. Thx!!!
I almost forgot how insane the first few months of 2020 really were, wow.
When was this filmed please?

I love watching Bondi rescue! I am from QLD and I would love to come for a visit my brother does patrol and it can be bad not really I just can't imagine how bad it would be at a much more popular beach you guys are all amazing lifeguards and people moving out of your own time to possibly or most likely save someone's life l! I am a nipper and I will be doing patrol when I'm older I will keep watching to hopefully to be more like you guys❤
Hopefully I get to meet you all when I’m older because you all inspirer me to become a lifeguard and y’all are my favourite RUclipss and you always put a smile on my face love y’all with all my heart
Literally same
it says you made this comment 12 days ago?? idk how😳
@@AAAAAAAA-xs9vl She is already a lifeguard now that she is 12 days older
How did you
@@engineeringvision9507’m actually I’m not a lifeguard, before this livestream there was a comment section so I comment there 12 day before the stream! I wish I was a lifeguard there! But sadly I live in the UK
@@mrs.styles29 :D idk why but people talking about weather gets me excited lol probably bc I teach about it
I thought if the water started to pull back it was already to late?
@@Morgana191 Nope, you run when you see the water form a MASSIVE wave
If you fancy an innuendo laugh: listen to the choice of words from @02:49
…”then we saw two guys…” to “would’ve done enough damage with his fist let alone a pole”.
😂😂😂
"Someone's attacked another HUMAN!" LoL sorry I dunno why that made me giggle 🤣
I still remember when the wild fire in 2020 happened I was texting cousins non stop making sure they were ok because they were living in Australia at the time
I may not have been to Bondi yet. But I still want to thank the Life Guards for all they do.
17:19 the military guy’s reaction to that description 😂 😭
You guys are Life Savers! Thank you for your great work and determination to save people and make the world a better place, if y’all haven’t been there then probably the first guy wouldn’t have survived. Please keep it up! ❤ God bless you all
I remember the bushfires. I live in the North Island of NZ and all of a sudden we woke up to a red glow on the horizon and an odd haze in the air. It took me all day to connect the dots and realize why.
“tsunami leave the beach find higher ground”
*sips coffee*
Need to stay alert for that tsunami. 😁
Wow that’s really cool
The more u know🤷♀️
Australians are European not aboriginals. Aboriginals did not create Australia, the British did.
Can we appreciate the little David Hasselhoff clock during the tsunami segment😂
The Hassellhoff clock really makes the tower a home😂❤
A calm ocean is more unnerving with a tsunami warning. There are many times when the ocean has been perfectly calm before a tsunami.
That poor guy 😢may he Rest In Peace 🥀💔
“I’m armed with a green whistle and a radio”-Harrison 😂
11:30 that clock is the BEST ever! 😍🤣
26:51 Aww, the look on Little H's face! Priceless!
My heart is breaking watching the fire.

Love the pink David Hasselhoff clock.
I love it when you mentioned New Zealand cuz I’m from New Zealand 🇳🇿
just 12 days.. seems like time has gone so quick
Gosh I forgot about those fires, we had hazy days in New Zealand from the smoke
All that for one guy with a knife not threatening anyone?!? I’m not complaining it’s nice to see people’s safety being top priority but WOW!
I once saw a little bushfire when we drove to Italy and even such a small fire just a few flames you could see, but a lot of smoke was scary, can imagine a big one near were you life
our towns and cities were covered in smoke and ash for week it was so creepy, looked like the middle of night at midday.
Wow, never knew abt how they handled the beach during covid...cant believe how many people were out like it was a vacation
and so they should, the beach is a very unfriendly environment for that virus.
It was worse down here it in Florida in the US.
Did she just say “someone attacked another human?” 😅
The fires started up in Northern nsw where the news ignored us. It started about august and we were covered n a blanket of smoke for months before it made its way south. Bondi didnt see anything like we did.
Oh, during the massive busfires early 2020, right? Cause I found out about those from Bondi Vet.
I really hope that family got their cricket bat back- 💀😅
I live really close to Buxton, freaky to see it all these years later, after nearly losing our house and town.
Narby got wiped out
Such a brilliant community.

One minute of silence for the life guards that saved ppls life💞
The “sweatie” makes this 10x better 😭
Just watched the first part and I’m really hoping the man is ok and the attackers got caught and arrested. I don’t understand how you can do that on a packed beach full of family’s with small children including babies like where is their Brain?? They clearly don’t have one and I could only imagine they were on drugs because a normal sober person wouldn’t do that. Swinging a pole with a hook at the end is insane. I’d like to know if the victim and the attackers knew each other. Either way it was totally messed up and the attackers need to go to jail .
Agreed
I heard he was dating a girl who was with a gang member before him, and it was just a show of force from the gang
I feel sorry for you and anyone who lives in certain parts of the USA,having to deal with fires on those scales year after year.
Thank god for people like Maxi.
"There is a tsunami coming"
Everyone stands 8ft higher on the esplanade 🤔
'Community' is a great word isnt it???? My heart goes out every year for the folk who get caught up in bushfires. Was in Victoria a few years ago when Kinglake was decimated. We were housesitting only about 5-10 klms over the hill, one day we were picnicking and taking photos of the lyrebirds the next I was in tears as the town burnt down and many people were killed..... so sad. Take care this summer - 2024 - everyone around Australia.
