Another way to get the grooves in the 3/4” PVC is a longer pc of pipe and heat it with a heat gun just so it’s a little soft and push it down in there. Then leave it sit for a few minutes until the pipe cools. This much faster and easier.
Does the plumber putty hardens up?
I think he meant Epoxy putty.
Time cost 50$
The devil is in the details. Slow down on the important part where you explathe the notching and linger on that in the video
Spend an hour or two vs buying a Scotty. Takes time off the water.
