They also call it additive rhythm and as I mentioned in my previous comment put under your other reyaction video to the Turkish folk song "İki Keklik" (Play for Nature #10) this type of rhythm is also referred to in musicological literature by the Turkish word "aksak", which means "limping". The wikipedia definition is as follows: "Additive rhythm features nonidentical or irregular durational groups following one another at two levels, within the bar and between bars or groups of bars". I think time intervals between the beats in each measure are not equal/regular and that is why they call it "limping/aksak rhythm". So it would be hard to dance on beat to this rhythm unless you come from a gypsy background lol! We don't get to hear it in western music so often.
