Such an unexpectedly good season, at least in my opinion. Had a whole host of interesting characters, with Tom and Steph especially shining. Some really weird tribal council discussions, but seeing a tribe get completely dominated was so fascinating to watch. First couple episodes had me a bit worried about the season, but how can you not like a season where they literally catch a freaking shark? Great video again. Keep ‘em coming.
Still don't get the hate for Katie. She didnt have the chance to compete since her tribe dominated. She made the alliance with Ian and Tom . She was never in trouble of going home.Plus she almost made womans alliances twice and was the swing vote multiple times. Plus she saved Ian at final 4 and got Tom and Ian to take her to final 2. I just felt so bad for her with the jury bashing her. I do wish that they kept the merge on hold more often . I actually like when tribes get Ulonged .
Man this season’s winner was SO satisfying and it might have my favorite final 3 in the first 10 seasons. That final immunity challenge was just amazing television, and no one could have predicted that result.
I think one thing that makes this season interesting is that with very minimal editing tweaks, you can easily make Tom look like a villain. Watched it again recently and was shocked at how unlikable a lot of people look that I remembered really enjoying the first time around. Starting at F5 Ian and Jenn are the only ones I actually liked now, even then it was far more of a "somewhat like" instead of "bring him back yesterday" feeling.
I see what you’re saying here. I rewatched the last year or so and with a different lens being older and more life in me, didn’t enjoy this cast or Tom nearly as much as when I first saw this! I find this season quite a bit over rated now.

ive been watching every season from borneo and this might be one of my least favorite so far. angie (the only person i really liked) getting sniped out of the game because the other team got to vote for somebody to be immune is insane. I have no interest in watching the rest of the season.

That was such a disappointing episode, they didn't even go to tribal to vote out Ian, they did it at the dock. I was rooting for Gregg and I enjoyed Carin's outbursts.

Im honestly shocked by the praise. Im on exile island rn and this was one of my least favorite seasons (besides Thailand) by how predictable and one sided it all was. I didn't like Katie or Ian. Tom was just a different breed and dominated the entire season.
not really. he was genually hurt because he was willing to risk a milion dollars by picking Lan even tho he was the biggest threat and Lan was gonna blindside him. pretty simple
Worst season of Survivor I've watched by far. No one was playing the game! Everyone was so stupid it was pissing me off. Only bright spot of this season was Steph, and she only got voted off because her tribe sucked and she was the last Ulong remaining. All Tom did was win challenges. He played no game. I hate earlier seasons where people base their vote solely off of perceived trust and camp life. The only real move made all season was voting off Greg. So many idiots on this cast it's insane
Ulong seemed to be physically stronger on the surface, but it just goes to show that physical strength is nothing if a tribe can’t work together.
Ulong is a good example that tribe teamwork helps you win challenges.

I'm watching through the series from Borneo for the first time and this is totally my favorite season so far! Ian has to be my favorite player so far.
I feel like so much of the cast is underrated. It’s a crime that only Tom and Steph have come back

I really enjoy this season the demolition of Ulong pre-merge is very intriguing to watch and the season has a solid post-merge as well. i rank it 7th.

If Ian had won final 3 immunity and won the season, there's no doubt in my mind they would have given Tom an extremely villainous edit.
