- THIS TOURNAMENT WAS SOMETHING ELSE!!! I went into this no where near expecting what I would be able to pull off - and defeated multiple higher level players that I've never beaten before. Reverse 3 stocks, new rest setups, and approaches to matchups that you've never seen before!

Edit: also good job on becoming at the very least the 2nd best puff and pushing for the best in Ultimate. You and Bassmage really have pushed puff like how Mang0 initially did and then you pushed her further in Melee .

The gap to BassMage is massive, and I'm sure Hbox would say that himself. BassMage himself is literally Hbox's best ever offline win.

@@Isakuya Online wins in Ult don't count. They don't even really count in Melee, but Slippi makes online Melee very similar to offline Melee, whereas Ultimate's online is so catastrophically terrible it's essentially a completely different game. His Sparg0 win online is indicative that he's very good at Ult, but not really anything beyond that - watch any top player stream elite smash and they'll probably lose 2 or 3 games out of 100 against a selection of complete nobodies, you don't have to be that much better than a random elite smash player to have a shot in a bo3 at anyone online in Ultimate, whereas you've gotta be cracked as fuck to have a chance against Sparg0 offline.
Basically, a win offline against BassMage is far more impressive than a win online against Sparg0, because Ult online is a nightmare and a crapshoot

Random question how do you win jiggly puff vs fox in melee just wondering seen as fox can kill you at 40 and can beat out jiggly puff camping
SDI and DI make him struggle to kill on some stages that early, but basically Puff can kill Fox earlier with simple rest setups, and if she is ahead Bair camping is honestly just something you have to pull off better. Though the biggest reason he wins is Hbox has a great punish game in Melee which leads to either a lot of damage or death. Though his main game plan is to exploit the players mistakes by using a play style that takes more out of the other player to increase their chances of messing up, hence why he Bair camps in Melee.

As an Ike main, I'm always torn between wanting to see Hungrybox win and wanting to see someone using my main win when this situation comes up. Usually I cheer for the Ike, but HBox was on such an awesome run that I was cheering for him this time.
