I'm really interested in the second part of this video. The circuit and how you set up the cables around. Also, thanks for giving your model for free, I will use it for a personal project. Expecting your second video my friend. Good job!
Thanks! I hope to have the second video soon... I have plenty of footage as a made a few of these but I'm just learning the process of making videos so I'm kinda slow...
@@irql2 I managed to make one some time ago using an old phone charger, resistors, and 8 white LEDs. If interested in this circuit check it out here www.thingiverse.com/thing:3372383
I know this is an old video but it’s a fantastic idea (especially with Xmas conning up, today is nov 28th) would it be possible to share/make a part 2 of this video about the install and final display of the light box. Thank you very much love all your videos
Ha ha. Sorry the first video is like a year old... I recorded the second video a couple times but I'm just not skilled enough with my video creation to pull it off. I'm trying to improve, hopefully one day I can get back to it.
I don't mean to rush you or anything, but it'd be great to get the follow-up soon. I want to make my mother a lamp for her birthday and my skills are what you may call novice at best. This is an awesome design and I know she'll love it. I'm making it regardless, it would just be a lot less experimentation and mess if I had a guiding hand. haha. Regardless, thanks for the video and tutorial.
Hello first of all I love your work and your RUclips channel. Can I ask what program do you use to draw the base for put the lithophane inside in it? Thank you for you time
This is awesome! I'm printing it now. You said the base doesn't require any supports but using cura on my Ender 3 it shows red for support needed for the hole for the power cord, flower designs, the moulding up the posts and the over hangs at the top of the posts. I don't see how to print it without any?
3D Printing World I printed it and it turned out great! Awesome work bro! I really like the post for the fixture. I would like to use it on a light base im printing for my daughter. I tried to use tinker cad to remove it so i could add it to my base but tinker will only open 25mb files. Can you suggest something i can use to copy that light post from the gothic litho box?
CAN ANYONE KNOW WHAT SOFTWARE WAS USED TO EDIT THE PHOTOS THAT OUR FRIEND USES IN THE VIDEO? I'M FROM BRAZIL AND I USE WINDOWS AND I DON'T KNOW IF IT USES ANY NATIVE APPLE EDITOR. THANK YOU ALL!
Its going to be a little while still... I just got a mic so hopefully the sound will be better on future videos. Until then If you have any questions, just let me know.
Because the resolution is not as good and you see layer lines more when printing flat. If you think about it your nozzle is .4mm but layer height is normally less, .2mm for example.
@@3DPrintingWorldsI’d love to support you, I’m subscribed to a couple Patreon’s already, but I’m literally interested in just this model, and $50 CAD for me infinitely (if I need an active subscription) to sell just one model that might sell once a year is unreasonable. Do you have an option to just buy a single model? Id love to throw you some money for an excellent model.
This is fantastic. Love the detail. The build quality is great, too!

Thanks for reminding me, I need to get on that.
@@3DPrintingWorlds Still no part 2 :(
can you please please please please share with us the step or the cad files???, i want to add and change few things and i really love the design.
What happened to part 2. I wanted to see the light setup

Hello first of all I love your work and your RUclips channel. Can I ask what program do you use to draw the base for put the lithophane inside in it? Thank you for you time
I use Autodesk Inventor but there are problem better programs to achieve its organic shape.

Nope, as long as you have decent cooling you should't need any. Turn them off, you can trust me...

@@MOE13576nope, no supports are needed. I’ve printed 5 of these.
@@pd130dpdoh ok. Thank you !
Which program is the second one you use?
which software did you use for sculpting outer frame bcoz it is super awesome
pls reply
I use Autodesk Inventor, because its what I use professionally but other software would probably be better at organic shapes like this.
hello i want the stl file coz the file on the website come with 404 eiror ???!!
Download the files individually. Thingiverse download all is broken.
CAN ANYONE KNOW WHAT SOFTWARE WAS USED TO EDIT THE PHOTOS THAT OUR FRIEND USES IN THE VIDEO? I'M FROM BRAZIL AND I USE WINDOWS AND I DON'T KNOW IF IT USES ANY NATIVE APPLE EDITOR. THANK YOU ALL!
Its just the standard editor that comes with widows.
make a part 2
I can't hear anything.
Let’s have that second video, with sound up please. It’s all printed, have all my parts, waiting for proper guidance before I just build it on my own.
Its going to be a little while still... I just got a mic so hopefully the sound will be better on future videos. Until then If you have any questions, just let me know.
3D Printing World I need a basic idea of assembly,
What are the brass threads for??
How do you mount the light?
@@chuckwasinger8350I'll add some instructions to the thingiverse page shortly where I can answer your questions in more detail.
Thanks
Done, I hope it helps.
Hi, what is the size of litophane panels?
100mm square, if I remember correctly. It says in the video.
@@3DPrintingWorlds 100x100. Ok thanks!
I can't put in the ". "in 3.5
anyone know how?
Instead of typing it in, use the slider.
the thingyverse give me a 404 error when I download them
Try Prusa printers, its on there too.
infill? for the box??
Really not important but I normally would use 10% and two perimeters.
Please give me the STL file because I don't found it (404)
Try prusa printers if thingiverse does not work.
@@3DPrintingWorlds please give me the stl file
Why wouldn't you print them flat? Just curious, To me it would wiggle to much
Because the resolution is not as good and you see layer lines more when printing flat. If you think about it your nozzle is .4mm but layer height is normally less, .2mm for example.
files are gone from thingiverse, can you email me or upload again?
They are there... you have to download them individually at the bottom instead of using the download button you would normally use.
Files are missing on thingiverse
They are there, Thingiverse is broken. Download them separately.
Interesting concept, too bad I couldn't hear it. Captions would have been nice.
why not just turn that on yourself? It's a feature built into youtube?
Nothing wrong with the sound for me, maybe look at your computers sounds settings.
Shhhh
Can't hear anything. Please repost with audio.
Talks more quite then a woman lol
audio is so low that even on max volume I can't hear it.
I'm sorry, it was one of my first videos and something was wrong with the sound. When I start making videos again in the future I'll correct this.
Hi can I make these to sell
If you join the selling tier on my Pateron.
