This is absurdly long. Kinda prefer Destiny 2 annual event store rotation (winter event, haloween etc) and Fortnite faster bounty quest progression to get more battlepass xp.
It's not fun though. On PC at least. It's not "bop the teddy" it's "bop the enemy" basically. And usually your team is somehow worse than the enemies. Ugh

Also I haven’t bought event packs since they added op cards but the animated duck skin changed that.

It is good. Halloween event when it first came out in 2019 was the best. It was very balanced that year and i spent like 23 hours that season on that event. You could never get enough of it. This event is good but if you have played that years Halloween event, it was a tier above. I still love this April fools event dearly.

I found they usually use these events to test new features and such. like the first rainbow is magic was testing the drone skins. WELLLLLLLLLLLLL I feel like this could be a reword idea for hostage. IE hostage game mode will be on very specific maps. and it will work like this
It doesn't make sense remember siege is like a counter terror thing both groups running to kill each others hostage doesn't fit that, maybe a vip mode where the defenders have to protect someone and the attackers have to assassinate them something like makes more sense for siege but this is just a silly fun game mode, I do like the idea of ranked hostage though they should test that hostage in ranked would be so good
that explosive bear is literally so busted, just throwing it at your feet will kill anyone nearby, throw it at your own teddy if they are knifing it and most of them will die, and if you die while holding it you drop it, i got like at least 10 martyrdom kills that way on the first day of the mode
I wish they kept the same game mode as before, or let us choose the old version or this one. The cosmetics are sick and I’m happy to have gotten some cool things. The new game mode just sucks tho
It’s like a little more than 2 alpha packs to get an event pack with renown. It’s not that bad. I saved for like 3 months and got like 36 packs + the free ones
This is a good gamemode, something different. But it gets hectic and it's not fun when your team is not trying to win
