They can be had for low prices now, really a no-brainer-speaker in terms of performance. They do benefit (a lot) from power, scaling up in performance (bass). If you have the chance, do try them with a Hegel and higher tiers from Audiolab (9000a). Both your amps are stellar, but they won't pull everything out of the Meta. I own them too, next to some other gear, and they will never leave, lol.
i have the Kef LS50 Meta coupled with Unison Research Primo too. They sound fantastic but maybe our amp is a bit “slow” when it comes to compare with intricate pieces of music, did you noticed too? But the bass is so good!
@@Luca84v that it may be a bit slow. I just started listening to it, though, but first impression is that it’s awesome. And yes, perhaps a bit slow with some music…
Got the Unico Primo and love the sound. One question: what does one do with the extra two speaker outputs on each side? I assume it’s not meant like the Cambride Audio Evo so you can add an extra set of speakers and switch between the two sets. Is it for biwiring? I do have the Q Acoustics 500 which can be biwired…
Yes it is for bi wiring 4 to 4 wires. Unfortunately I have only 2 to 4 wires. You could also connect 4 speakers. Two aside. But I never saw someone do that
@@DigitalPhilosophers thanks but how would that work? I simply add 2 pairs of speaker cable to each side? From the amp there is no low or high tones differentation right? Apologies - probably too confused on all this…
I would rate the Unifi Reference one step above the LS50 Meta in so many ways. The LS50 Meta is a bit livelier though. The Reference is more neutral top to bottom and sounds more natural as every AJ design I know does. Both image great. I would pair the Unifi Reference with the Unico Primo by Unison Research to enter the highend sound territory

@@jqqn Yes! And yes! There is no high or low frequency binding post differentiation
How would LS50 Meta pair with Arcam S20, let me know your thoughts.
I would like to know that too. I can only say: in my opinion and taste the ls50 meta needs a fast and tonally neutral amp.
Hello, I don't understand witch amp you use, the AudioLab
Yes mainly the Omnia. The Unison Research is even better in terms of dynamics and it is livelier
How LS50 compare to unifi reference? I have Q350 and UB52, the kef Q350 sounds veiled compare to elac UB52.

LS50 Meta, They will go down to 40 hertz. Try to see the Reference 1 Meta standmount you would be even more amazed at fit and finish.
I like your videos but please clean up your filmed area, thanks
Maybe one day 😅
Soon I promise!
