Ah. Ok. I really wish there were events like this out in the US. The closest thing we have is rallycross on a traditional off-road track, and most tracks here don't even have that.
Covers are selfmade, you have to make it perfect fit on chassis. Dust or rain will have no chance to get inside. Bodies are from Tamiya, Hpi production or custom made from lexan. And almost all liveries and paintings are custom made.
@Rdcj i think its because the circuit is very large and they need to keep eye contact with rc to avoid accidents, and the other guy who chase is a member of the staff and need to check if the car is running fair
looks awesome. would love to get into rally racing. two questions. any kits/rollers to go with? and isn't there a better way to do it than running behind the car?
Wow, your attention to detail is so great you had Ken Block's car crash and need to be repaired. Just like in real life! And all kidding aside, this is genuinely awesome.
@RCWinnipeg because the tracks are so long. they are not circuits, they are A to B paths. I actually think the running makes it more immersive, but that's just me.
what are te specific models of chassis you guys are running, shaft drive or belt, etc? loved the video, just want to learn more about the actual vehicles, so i can do a build.
I've just bought a Tamiya XB Sport TT-01 Lancia Delta. I just took it across the road to do some off road rally and it's amazing! but it did get quite caked in dust but I cleaned it. What would you recommend for temporary protection of the internals? to stop dust etc.? thanks
I love this style of racing, its so realistic. I just might have to get one. Do you guys have a shop where I can order stuff like parts, and those insane bodies of yours? Do you sell those kinds of bodies? Cheers
@mhsfootball28 any rally block tires. almost everyone uses the tamiya Rally Block Tires. pretty much, any tire that fits on a sedan realistically and has some good grip off-road while maintaining some street cred, so to speak.
Alright. Just curious, though, since the WR8's body is exactly 1/8th scale in proportion to a Ford Focus RS despite it being similarly sized to a 200mm body, wouldn't that make most hatchback bodies 1/8th scale in proportion? Or is the class based on the chassis scale designation? (Which is another oddity since the WR8 is the only car using the HPI bullet chassis that's listed as a 1/8th scale car, not to mention this would technically allow the much larger Traxxas Rally)
@cro101graff Amazon. the TT-01 chassis is designed for on-road, but can be easily modified and is really cheap. the DF-03Ra chassis is designed for off road, but can do on-road alright as well. pretty much, go with what you like and your budget.
@rcxboxtechdeck its not all about speed. dont go with a 3t brushless and a high gear ratio- go with a 6-17t and a LOW gear ratio. that way, you get more accelleration and torque, but controllable speeds in the corners. also, reinforce your chassis, esp. if you're using a tt01.
Awesome video guys...You sure have sparked and interest in R/C rally here in Canada.
Thanks a million.
Scott C.

Good video guys looks like you put in some really good work to that track.
Cool stuff .... especially great work with camera!
I love it!! Its amazing the skill you have to take those turns with speed and make it fine and stay on the trail
awesome video dude!!!

podvozky jsou vetsinou Xray nebo Tamiya. 1:10 onroad, upravene pro rally (zakrytovani, vetsi svetla vyska, lepsi tlumice, vetsi rejd, ...)
@RCWinnipeg because the tracks are so long. they are not circuits, they are A to B paths. I actually think the running makes it more immersive, but that's just me.
That is awesome!!! Great vid as well

wish we had something like this where I live :( scotland has very few rc car clubs :(
I love this video, but it becomes insanely funny if you imagine the drivers in the RC cars 'Humans! SHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT'
Nice that there is the 2010 Dutch Rally Champion.
Čau nádherné video chci se zeptat jen jaké používáte podvozky a elektroniku motory atd děkuji

and just so you know the wr8 is based on a fiesta not a focus, hence its a bit smaller for a 1/8 car

from 1:16 is where it gets outrageously cool! Great video
see, now thats the thing. In rally, a codriver is required, he is like the navigator. So its pretty smart for RC rally.
What kind of tires are commonly used and is it common to use buggy or short course truck tires?
Hi man, theres anyone using a Kyosho Fazer EP in championship? Or almost all cars are Tamiya? Thanks, and congratulations for the Championship
So would a modified df03ra, or a tt01 be allowed in these kind of events?
Whats the difference between a brushless and brushed motor. I want to get into rc rally, and im curious.
Very nice my friend. What editing program?
first time i have seen someone chase their RC car so fast.
Supér videjko, kolik stojí jedno takový Rally auto na ovládání ?
I LOVE WRC RC video 5/5
So I'm guessing you're the one in the Monster Energy hoodie with the Ken Block Focus? ;)
Sweet vid. What are the majority of the models?
im intrested in doing rc rallies i already have lancia delta tamiya but im just wondering if its in england
@jettrooper02 mostly DF-03Ra chassis and TT-01 Chassis(shaft 4wd). im not sure about others.
Hi. 2:20 What kind of protection is the one over the chassis, battery, and all the mains? Custom made? Any other info how to make something like that?
i looooooved this vid az 4 this i subbed u and liked this!!!!!
that track is sick my man
Would an HPI WR8 Flux be allowed in an event like this, or would I have to enter my modified Associated TC5FT?

tt01 chassis? will it need a sealed gearbox and trany
What is the yellow car body at 0.07? Not the Mitsubishi Evo, the one next to it?
Thanks
Hi im Interested in rc rally and i want to start with it , which Car should i get and can i put a Traxxas slash Engine on it?
dude what scale are the cars, what brand are they and how much do they cost
Instead of running behind the cars, I wonder what it would be like doing this using an FPV system?

hi!
cool track, where is it situated?
Moc hezký video kluci :)
this video is awesome
@TheHat3z Thanks... It's me :D
@GP3PocketSnare neither. HPI, Tamiya, and other companies make dedicated Rally Block Tires, which have good off-road and on-road performance.
Awesome.Subscribed
who makes the mk2 focus shell?
kde jste koupili ty fabie?
It is Lada VFTS rally
I think would be awesome to do this in FPV instead of running behind the car
Do they do it in Australia?
I would love to do that
what losi cars are there?
@RCWinnipeg I ask the same thing. I'm assuming they are trying to keep it as "real" as possible so most rally races are from point A to point B.
Why do they run along with the cars?
@RCDJ808 so they have a good view of where the car is and to prevent ffrom going out of range
KDe se sehnali kastli Monster Energi auta?
This is too amazing to be true
any associated cars?
@monkeydotcz - jakou verzi? 9? nebo 10?
My opinion is that this would be better with nitro rc cos it gives a more realistic sound and you're dealing with real engines
COOOLLLL!
Nive Track and Drive !!!

I only got $300 Canadian so what rally car should I buy
