Even the guitarist for bongripper tunes down to F standard on a les Paul, which is a shorter scale length than most if not all strat type scale lengths (24.75 vs the strat 25.5)

Saw this and subscribed. Unbelievable. I still don’t understand how I can tune my six string (fender) down that low -I play a lot of songs in C but I need to go lower for Cannibal Corpse. Is it drop A or standard A? Can I do this with in 440? Meaning is it an like an E tuning (dropping low e to D string for heavy songs- or G sharp or what? String gauge recommendation? I never thought I would be able to play evisceration plague until I watched this video -you make it look simple but at least I think I have a chance! Awesome

How I can tune to Standard Ab there arent any Ab tuners on youtube and I dont really know how to do this by hearing ;/
To tune that low it would be good to have a 7 string or a baritone guitar, but in case you just have a normal 25.5 inch scale 6 string, put some really thick strings like 14's or 15's (i would actually go for an even thicker set of 16's) with a really thick string on the bottom like a .64 or a .70 if you like to hit the strings really hard, the tuning is G# C# F# B D# g# so it is 4 steps lower then E Standard

This a G# Standard Tuner for 7 strings, is basically the same notes on a 6 string except that it doesn't have a high c# and the second string is tuned to F instead of E

Outskirts of Infinity I blocked my floyd rose bridge with a piece of wood on the back of the tremolo bridge so that the strings stay in tune for a long time...cheers!

A lot of steps dude, it's a standard guitar tuning with the first string tuned in Ab, with a 7 string guitar it's better
I don't think you're playing the riff starting at 1:12 quite right. Watch CC play the song live; the descending groupings of six notes are played higher up the neck.

Ususally the guitar that I used for this cover (Raven West 1000Q) is tuned in a drop A tuning and I use Galli Detuned Strings 0,70,,,,,,cheers!
