tbh without her buff i find her card shuffle extremely detrimental, you can have a great hand and want to crit but then it removes your hand while doing the crit buff, she can definitely pull off some interesting things post buff with summer BB but i usually falls into the "meme" category rather than practical, nevertheless interesting servant imo.
I think the idea is that you have a deck you don’t like because you can’t crit with it. Think you set up a ton of stars and then the next turn you only have mash cards. But I see what you mean.
To be fair the skill level up where you can ban a certain character’s card from appearing makes it more then just a Mage MC card shuffle and heavily tilts RNG to your favor. Makes it more consistent with Summer BB synergy too on top of the other passives [BB giving passive starts per turn with card lock + Bunny buffing party Crit]

I find it interesting that people always forgot the important part of her 2nd skill: it guarantees 2 turns of brave chain that's buffed by both crit up AND an np gen up. sure you don't have a choice on what card type that'd be, but 2 brave chain is huge, IMO that's already enough balance it to BB's 3rd skill.
I'd love it if they did a welfare summer Avenger Lalter since 1. Its one of the classes she's not in yet and 2. No welfare avenger atm and 3. DW remembering she exists

I do appreciate your reviews mostly outline the positives and how to best utilize a servant rather than comparing them to other servants for the bulk of the discussion. It really helps especially in a PvE gacha environment where if you don't have Servant A then you just keep feeling bad that you pulled for Servant B when really Servant A may as well not exist for you.
This is an enjoyable one to watch. Not exactly summoning for her, but she could show up during the mad pulls for Summer Melt. Interesting setup. Crazy high health, a card shuffle power, and is just pretty unique. Has some flaws, but wouldn’t mind getting her at all.

I freaked when I drew her today. My first 5 star servant after 7 months of playing. Thanks for the video showing her strengths and weaknesses. Helps me figure out how to use her best.
To note, Arturia ruler is Koyan compatible. Her specifically is actually a farmer capable of guaranteeing 2 turns of Brave chain whenever she wants/ when her damage is insufficient. All while she got 100% crit damage on, and possibly tons of stars, as Koyan got that 20+ star rain on her kit. Simply because all her Skills have low CD, so she is actually capable of 80% atk buff her atk just from third skill alone, add in 30% on her first skill, used on turn 2, and then 100% crit up with 40+ stars from Koyan, all to burst her enemy to hell on turn 3. Yeah... With Koyan, I don't think her low atk stat matter much... She is over buffing arturia Ruler... This reminds me of why I picked Loli Vinci, they both can gamify the trait of their premier support.
She has been my absolute tank of a servant since i got her. Like you said, her health pool is enormous and thanks to her class nothing really dents it. Throw in some np supporters like Waver, Sima Yi (Reines) or even Merlin and her tankiness just explodes. I rather enjoy her gimmicky nature as it kind of feels like i am actually playing a game of chance (and thanks to rnj, i am) as well as kind of loading the cards against my opponent with her second skill. Super fun, great tank, her jack of all trade gameplay style helps literally any team i put her on. Definitely top tier in my book simply because she fills her role well and in a brand new super fun way while being very hard to kill

I found her somewhat useful on some JP challenge quests, where you fight several servants at once. I think I ended up bringing her instead of an AOE berserker, because maybe there was at least one foreigner class involved. She did quite well, especially with double Castoria support. I was able to NP spam fairly effectively since I was able land the arts crit often. And since I don't have SSR Gil and I didn't want my Serkelot to risk dying early, Buntoria filled the role better than I expected.
To be fair to Arthur, Camelot rabbits are pretty scary. There was one that stood up to the combined might of three of the Round Table, requiring sun-buffed Gawain to pin it down to allow Lancelot to stab it and Mordred to kick it viciously.
I stopped playing 2 years ago when i dumped 600sq for mordred and didnt get shit but now im back at it again lol. Everything that I knew is so out of date so thank you SO MUCH for these type of videos, they are very informative and provide exactly what I want to know about the servants.

Bought more SQ to aim for Summer Okita while she wasn't competing with Melt (already NP2). Now crying that I'll never have an Okita, but needed this guide to figure out what to do with this unexpected NP4 Summer Artoria...
I haven't used it since I max lvled it, but the one thing I miss from the Mage Association uniform was the command shuffle skill. It was a surprisingly useful ability that I used pretty often when I got dealt a bad hand. Hopefully this bunny will spook me while I roll for Okita.
Suffer From Success (Summer) A+ strikes again! In my initial opening of the part 2 banner, this rabbit sprung up twice before any of the SR servants appeared. Ah well. I'll try for NP2 Melt next week. She'll probably spring up again just to spite me.
One notable thing to mention is that her solo potential, as is the case with some other Rulers, is quite good if you aim towards her face cards, since her NP gives a buff to all of them you can adapt to any given situation or go for what you deem fit. If you do use CCs on her, having a mix of Tamamo+Jeanne's CCs as well as the ones mentioned in this video can probably make her last quite a while, and the downsides of her 1st and 2nd skill can be mitigated if you time them correctly. Still, the fact that she can be used in any way and perform decently well, moreso with the usual supports, is quite nice, you could say she's a wild card even.
Those attacks are quite an interesting sight to behold - and so are her stats, her playstyle, as well as her overall design, of course! o.O From what you told me, Sober Oni, she really feels like a complete defensive package coupled with a few offensive tools in her kit - a swiss army knife, as she were. I guess I should try to save up for her, then. Thank you, Sober Oni! ^_^

My first SSR in JP, well I started on the second week of Summer 4 and after that Stheno on the tutorial summon, beginner luck activated and I got Bunnytoria,Okita Summer,Siegfried, Summer Osakabehime and Napoleon all with the start dash quartz. I will be trying to get her but I will focus my efforts on Musashi first as I can live with only having her on my JP account. She was really helpful for farming before I got a decent team of a diverse classes. And she is my MVP for Holy Grail Fronts, although its mostly because she is a ruler

Next up we've got Artoria Ruler. When it comes to her, I was really looking forward to her because she had a Really good kit, her NP when I first saw it I thought was pretty ridiculous, and her Third Form I Freaking Love!!! Plus (To my memory [Not including Castoria btw]), I feel like Artoria Ruler is the ONLY Artoria that isn't a Version of MHX that actually has a Form of Survivability and that's something I look for in Most Servants in FGO no matter what Class they are!!! I was planning on Grailing Artoria Ruler... Until 2 things happened; 1. DW gave her the Buff to her Second Skill!!! Allow me to explain: I want to be able to have the Option of Soloing with most of the Servants that I Grail and Artoria Ruler had the capability to do so in my eyes... UNTIL her "Buff". The moment that happened, I felt like DW told me to my Face "No, we're not allowing you to Solo with Artoria Ruler, at least not without making it that you only get to use 2 of her 3 Skills. Shame on you for considering it!!" and that got me mad!!! 2. Another Ruler Servant came out after Artoria Ruler that I want to Grail more than her. Either way, I'm just glad that I was able to get Artoria Ruler, I only have her NP 1, but I'm fine with that. Plus if I want her NP 2, I can always try to get her NP 2 next year, so I can wait. Artoria Ruler was my 5th Most Wanted Summer 4 Servant, and I can't wait to start trying her out!!! ^_^ Another Great Spotlight, Sober Oni; now to the next 1, lol. ^_^

You describe her as if I wasn't going to do bastard loops on every quest I can with a mlb kscope, double waver, and a merlin. I think she may also be the only servant where that composition works thanks to her np charging 20% and another 40% from her skill. T1: start at 100, use her attack buff and hero creation, use np T2: start at 20, royal bunny brings it up to 60, use wavers crit and attack buffs for the last 40%. use NP T3:start at 20, dreamlike charisma brings it up to 40, use wavers defense buff and then plugsuit in the second waver to finish the other half.
The number 01 servant/waifu in top five servants I want this year along with Berserker Musashi. Not going to roll in the summer 3 rerun and saved up 4 hundred SQ for this banner this summer. Can't wait for this banner to drop. Good luck everyone trying to summon her.
i got Bunny in JP and i find her both lackluster at times and yet incedibly useful at others. i got her to level 100 and she is nearly bond 10. she was my second 5 star, behind leonardo da vinci rider, as i joined during that time, and the two work really well together. her attack might be super low but i find her to be the better support then anything else. plus, i keep her in first ascension as then she doesn't warp around and the movements feel more fluid to me. i love her kit because it lets you fit her into anything and she won't slow you down
When I started playing last year I wondered if Artoria ever got a Ruler class and then I discovered Summer Artoria, back before I had a clue about how any of the game mechanics worked etc... It's been a long wait. One more month.
she is really useful too for new players when finishing the story quest i used her and jinako in jp when i didnt really own any op units to be ultimate tanks through part 1 then adding a support cu alter would just help breeze through
Am I weird for preferring the normal Arturia/Alter? I just can't help but feel like the Lancer/Ruler variations are someone else entirely. Edit: Holy hell I think I jinxed it, I was rolling on the Mini da Vinci/Sitonai banner and the OG Saber herself spooked me 0_0
A few things to note: 1. There's little reason to prioritise leveling her NP charge beyond lvl 6. That's when it hits the 30% threshold which is _by far_ the most important one for buster servants. 40% charges have always been a bit awkward since you don't really get much from the additional 10%. It should have just been 50% considering that this is Lartoria Summer but oh well. I would suggest getting her to 7/7/7 first since she's a Ruler and then prioritise the 2nd or 3rd skill for 10 depending on whether you want to use her as a semi-support or a damage dealer. 2. She kind of sucks as a farmer so don't get your hopes up. Her NP's damage output is lackluster, being buster doesn't help since she has a hard time looping, and her class gets in the way here since she doesn't even get offensive class advantage. The lack of 50% charge also really hurts. Overall she's more suited for story quests and CQs. 3. Her 2nd skill re-shuffles your hand as if one of your servants just died. Which means you could for example use two of your main DPS' buster cards and then pop her 2nd skill to maybe get them back immediately afterwards. The skill is gimmicky at best at release but will get top tier once it gets its strengthening in the rerun next year. And as Oni already said, it's hilarious to use with Summer BB. IIRC you can even swap out a unit with Plugsuit and still keep the rigged hand. Overall a really fun servant, just a tad underwhelming at release. That strengthening in the rerun was a game changer for her.
Hmm....She's certainly very interesting. While I'm definitely interested in rolling for her, however, I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of her. I already find myself not using Rulers very much, and that pitiful damage isn't really making me want to bring her along. The card shuffle is certainly nice, especially after that upgrade, but generally the only time I find myself using Rulers is if I need some stall + Debuff clear from Jeanne (who I probably use most often), or some buff-wiping damage for a team when Abby won't cut it, which is pretty rare in itself. I certainly intend to roll her, but how much I'll use her, especially before that buff, is a little bit up in the air
Looking forward to Summon Bunny Artoria, Could Always use another Ruler to Run BB's fade. That and the fact she has Lion made of Light/Lightning is awesome. (Also Summer Melt & Musashi with Merlin) So when their banner is out, I wish those who are rolling the best of luck.
The Queen of the battleship that I am aiming for in this Summer, even fi only at third place. Sounds like she would enjoy a team that has Summer BB and Avenger Nobu in it. The focus would been bringing out the best for Nobu. Another team up sounds like Jack with her crit spam pair up with caster scathach. Would be interesting to pull her. Would make up for my loss on summoning Nobu.

Thanks! I try to approach these spotlights from the perspective that every servant is someone's favorite or one that someone may want to use.

the one big down side for double support set ups is they always hog up those card slots.

I found her somewhat useful on some JP challenge quests, where you fight several servants at once. I think I ended up bringing her instead of an AOE berserker, because maybe there was at least one foreigner class involved. She did quite well, especially with double Castoria support. I was able to NP spam fairly effectively since I was able land the arts crit often. And since I don't have SSR Gil and I didn't want my Serkelot to risk dying early, Buntoria filled the role better than I expected.

To be fair to Arthur, Camelot rabbits are pretty scary. There was one that stood up to the combined might of three of the Round Table, requiring sun-buffed Gawain to pin it down to allow Lancelot to stab it and Mordred to kick it viciously.

Bought more SQ to aim for Summer Okita while she wasn't competing with Melt (already NP2). Now crying that I'll never have an Okita, but needed this guide to figure out what to do with this unexpected NP4 Summer Artoria...
I haven't used it since I max lvled it, but the one thing I miss from the Mage Association uniform was the command shuffle skill. It was a surprisingly useful ability that I used pretty often when I got dealt a bad hand. Hopefully this bunny will spook me while I roll for Okita.

In my initial opening of the part 2 banner, this rabbit sprung up twice before any of the SR servants appeared.
Ah well. I'll try for NP2 Melt next week. She'll probably spring up again just to spite me.
One notable thing to mention is that her solo potential, as is the case with some other Rulers, is quite good if you aim towards her face cards, since her NP gives a buff to all of them you can adapt to any given situation or go for what you deem fit.
If you do use CCs on her, having a mix of Tamamo+Jeanne's CCs as well as the ones mentioned in this video can probably make her last quite a while, and the downsides of her 1st and 2nd skill can be mitigated if you time them correctly.
Still, the fact that she can be used in any way and perform decently well, moreso with the usual supports, is quite nice, you could say she's a wild card even.

From what you told me, Sober Oni, she really feels like a complete defensive package coupled with a few offensive tools in her kit - a swiss army knife, as she were.

My first SSR in JP, well I started on the second week of Summer 4 and after that Stheno on the tutorial summon, beginner luck activated and I got Bunnytoria,Okita Summer,Siegfried, Summer Osakabehime and Napoleon all with the start dash quartz. I will be trying to get her but I will focus my efforts on Musashi first as I can live with only having her on my JP account. She was really helpful for farming before I got a decent team of a diverse classes. And she is my MVP for Holy Grail Fronts, although its mostly because she is a ruler
Thanks for the great video Oni! While Bunny Artoria is most likely a skip for me unless I get lucky with a couple of tickets, I do love her design nevertheless! Maybe I will try for her during the rerun next year. I am eager to hear your guide for the summer event too!

Next up we've got Artoria Ruler. When it comes to her, I was really looking forward to her because she had a Really good kit, her NP when I first saw it I thought was pretty ridiculous, and her Third Form I Freaking Love!!! Plus (To my memory [Not including Castoria btw]), I feel like Artoria Ruler is the ONLY Artoria that isn't a Version of MHX that actually has a Form of Survivability and that's something I look for in Most Servants in FGO no matter what Class they are!!! I was planning on Grailing Artoria Ruler... Until 2 things happened;
1. DW gave her the Buff to her Second Skill!!! Allow me to explain: I want to be able to have the Option of Soloing with most of the Servants that I Grail and Artoria Ruler had the capability to do so in my eyes... UNTIL her "Buff". The moment that happened, I felt like DW told me to my Face "No, we're not allowing you to Solo with Artoria Ruler, at least not without making it that you only get to use 2 of her 3 Skills. Shame on you for considering it!!" and that got me mad!!!
2. Another Ruler Servant came out after Artoria Ruler that I want to Grail more than her.
Either way, I'm just glad that I was able to get Artoria Ruler, I only have her NP 1, but I'm fine with that. Plus if I want her NP 2, I can always try to get her NP 2 next year, so I can wait. Artoria Ruler was my 5th Most Wanted Summer 4 Servant, and I can't wait to start trying her out!!! ^_^ Another Great Spotlight, Sober Oni; now to the next 1, lol. ^_^

You describe her as if I wasn't going to do bastard loops on every quest I can with a mlb kscope, double waver, and a merlin.
I think she may also be the only servant where that composition works thanks to her np charging 20% and another 40% from her skill.
T1: start at 100, use her attack buff and hero creation, use np
T2: start at 20, royal bunny brings it up to 60, use wavers crit and attack buffs for the last 40%. use NP
T3:start at 20, dreamlike charisma brings it up to 40, use wavers defense buff and then plugsuit in the second waver to finish the other half.
The number 01 servant/waifu in top five servants I want this year along with Berserker Musashi. Not going to roll in the summer 3 rerun and saved up 4 hundred SQ for this banner this summer. Can't wait for this banner to drop. Good luck everyone trying to summon her.

i got Bunny in JP and i find her both lackluster at times and yet incedibly useful at others. i got her to level 100 and she is nearly bond 10. she was my second 5 star, behind leonardo da vinci rider, as i joined during that time, and the two work really well together. her attack might be super low but i find her to be the better support then anything else. plus, i keep her in first ascension as then she doesn't warp around and the movements feel more fluid to me. i love her kit because it lets you fit her into anything and she won't slow you down
I want her. Pretty sure I'll get her. Because i too believe in the heart of the cards ❤🃏
When I started playing last year I wondered if Artoria ever got a Ruler class and then I discovered Summer Artoria, back before I had a clue about how any of the game mechanics worked etc... It's been a long wait. One more month.
Saving for her and Summer Musashi, hopefully can get them both. Bb Summer is very tempting tho...

Am I weird for preferring the normal Arturia/Alter? I just can't help but feel like the Lancer/Ruler variations are someone else entirely.

that's because laltoria/bunnytoria is more of a goddess than human
A few things to note:
1. There's little reason to prioritise leveling her NP charge beyond lvl 6. That's when it hits the 30% threshold which is _by far_ the most important one for buster servants. 40% charges have always been a bit awkward since you don't really get much from the additional 10%. It should have just been 50% considering that this is Lartoria Summer but oh well. I would suggest getting her to 7/7/7 first since she's a Ruler and then prioritise the 2nd or 3rd skill for 10 depending on whether you want to use her as a semi-support or a damage dealer.
2. She kind of sucks as a farmer so don't get your hopes up. Her NP's damage output is lackluster, being buster doesn't help since she has a hard time looping, and her class gets in the way here since she doesn't even get offensive class advantage. The lack of 50% charge also really hurts. Overall she's more suited for story quests and CQs.
3. Her 2nd skill re-shuffles your hand as if one of your servants just died. Which means you could for example use two of your main DPS' buster cards and then pop her 2nd skill to maybe get them back immediately afterwards. The skill is gimmicky at best at release but will get top tier once it gets its strengthening in the rerun next year. And as Oni already said, it's hilarious to use with Summer BB. IIRC you can even swap out a unit with Plugsuit and still keep the rigged hand.
Overall a really fun servant, just a tad underwhelming at release. That strengthening in the rerun was a game changer for her.
She'll be a welcome servant but the main star on that banner is Melt.

Hmm....She's certainly very interesting. While I'm definitely interested in rolling for her, however, I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of her. I already find myself not using Rulers very much, and that pitiful damage isn't really making me want to bring her along. The card shuffle is certainly nice, especially after that upgrade, but generally the only time I find myself using Rulers is if I need some stall + Debuff clear from Jeanne (who I probably use most often), or some buff-wiping damage for a team when Abby won't cut it, which is pretty rare in itself. I certainly intend to roll her, but how much I'll use her, especially before that buff, is a little bit up in the air

Looking forward to Summon Bunny Artoria, Could Always use another Ruler to Run BB's fade. That and the fact she has Lion made of Light/Lightning is awesome. (Also Summer Melt & Musashi with Merlin) So when their banner is out, I wish those who are rolling the best of luck.

The Queen of the battleship that I am aiming for in this Summer, even fi only at third place. (I'm eyeing diva Melt and secret agent Carmilla the most) The only other Ruler Servant that I have is the Welfare Quetzalcoatl, so you can imagine how welcoming Roulette Bunny Artoria, who also happens to be a Card Mage of sorts, sounds hella appealing to me! ^_^

Got 200 sq left from Nobu and GudaGuda4(oddly it was Mori who avoided my summons rather than Mama Nobu, who I got in 2) I'm very excited and hopeful.
Now she's capable of 3T Buster farming due to the addition of Koryanchihuahia.
Sounds like she would enjoy a team that has Summer BB and Avenger Nobu in it. The focus would been bringing out the best for Nobu. Another team up sounds like Jack with her crit spam pair up with caster scathach. Would be interesting to pull her. Would make up for my loss on summoning Nobu.
