I live just half a mile from Cemex headquarters, US in Houston, Texas. They are a philanthropic company who once donated cement to a school for new playground sidewalks.
Wonderful Captain, thank you for the video, have missed you and the channel. Glad to hear that things are moving in the right direction with regards to restoring the channel back to the way it was last summer with the various cameras dotted around the port of Southampton to capture ship movements in and out of port.
Really good to see a working vessel that looks so stylish and well finished. She's a beauty. Really good to see that her recoveries go into the construction industry. It would be interesting to know how they are transported - is there a rail spur ?
Love these high quality videos. It's great that technology allows for such high quality imagery to be produced and made easily available these days. You couldn't have dreamed about getting such easy access to such great views of the waterways just a few decades ago. Which camera was used? Looks like it has nice zoom proportional zoom control so you can do slow zooms etc
It is fantastic shimate, that an old seadog like myself can make reaasonable quality films. They are filmed by drone for the aerail shots and sony camera for the ground shots.
Hi there can we please have our live webcams back Red Funnel ferries are still taking a hissy fit then just point the cameras somewhere else like at the junction with high street & town quay + the other camera at Mayflower Park
@@SolentShips could do but I don’t know who to ask. We also have another new dredger but don’t know it’s name as it was dark when I saw it. USed to see Sand Heron and Weaver but not kno more

She looked really sharp when she was new shipmate. Both ports that the dredger docks at are road ports.

Or maybe this is drone footage too and you just followed it slowly? They are so well stabilised these days it can be hard to tell.

Working on it shipmate, give me a couple of weeks.
I see her most days in Shoreham Port, she’s Beautiful Also see the City of Chichester and Her sister City of Cardiff
I have to say, the City Ships are like the ugly sisters compared to Cemex Go shipmate. Maybe we should put a live camera at your place?

Another new one today in the Port of Shoreham The Hanson Thames, looks the same like the Go Innovation

I'm wondering why you didn't follow the ship all the way with the drone - are you not allowed to fly it near the bridge?
You are correct shipmate, I can't fly too near the bridge, also, I can only fly 500m from where I am.
Shipmate
