Here is a demonstration of sweat soldering two pieces of metal. I am using 20 gauge brass and copper, which can be safely heated to a medium to bright red to reach soldering temperature. If sterling silver is used, do not use the color of the metal to determine if the solder has flowed. I am using Griffflux and medium sheet solder from Riogrande.com. Any questions for me, please leave comments. Thanks!
