Klaas had explained that the dlab Unit has a narrower leading edge, reducing drag - therefore the statement in the video, the shapes would be identical is to be modified imho
Are you maybe watching some of last years videos? We ran the audio on left and right channels and people with a broken computer speaker complained about the audio.
@@WingsurfingMagazine Maybe I should elaborate :) This particular video actually has pretty decent sound quality. I'm getting lots of split-second speech outages for example on the Armstrong and Unifoil preview videos (of 2024) though. My guess would be that maybe the squelch level was too high so the mic would cut short the first and last few split seconds of a word or sentence. Sometimes there's also like an echo effect, I'm assuming that's when you're close to your interview partner and both your mics are recording at the same time. Played the videos on various devices and found no difference.
Thanks for the feedback. The problem was with the camera line in settings on the Gopro media mod. We might re-output the videos with some extra work in post. @@youhavequasp
For a guys who is a designer, he is a very poor interviewee. No info on wing design, use cases, etc. The interviewer had to pull out info "like pulling teeth". C'mon Duotone - either train the guy, or put someone else in there.

I'm just bingewatching all the AWSI interviews. So interesting getting some insight from the developers! Sound quality is a little bummer though.

I really wish that they would separate the inflate valves like OR.
not a great presentation and product set up, taking into account the great portfolio
AWSI primarily an on water demo for dealers to test gear and not a typical indoor trade show.
I thought he did a great job very well spoken
