Some notes.
The crawler flank was your opponent, probably the left one, using underground threat.
This mode seems to center around farming as much extra supply from AI units as possible to get economic lead, since beacon is unlocked for everyone, it should probably be used to get as many towers as possible.
You don't want to be in lead, as you noticed, the boss mobs go after the player in the lead.
Considering AI units change every round (until you get to part where it only spawns those 2 sledges) and since it's entirely unpredictable how other players will manage their waves, it's probably best to build balanced force, rather than focusing on countering AI units which change every round, or your opponents units as you can't predict how their fights will go and what you end up facing.
Flanks and powers should probably be used to slow down other players so you can get their towers/AI units. The Rhino drop can could be very useful for dropping in the middle to secure the middle tower or bullying other players.
Important thing to consider is that towers and AI units can be seen as twice as valuable as the supplies they provide, becasue not only are you gaining those supplies for yourself, you are also denying them for the enemy.

This mode can be quite fun. Obviously it's quite casual, no ladder, but it's still enjoyable, esspecially the boss mobs.
Anyway, you can flank from round 2 onwards. Rhino assualt is useful, both for sniping AI towers and for fecling over the opponent's, but do be warned that drop priority is determined by your position in the lobby, so if everyone drops in the center (AI towers are valid targets for it) then the last guy in the lobby will be the one with the surviving Rhino.

well played, boat and other spawners are great even with the huge nerfs.
Melting point and hackers are similarly crazy because they deal with the uber units in the middle really well so its usually always good to pick them from cards.
Also fun fact.
Spawner items from cards do not have a spawn limit so if you can pick up a spawn item on boats it's a huge help late game because nobody got chaff left.

That last round when the boss wave rushed to end you, you jus kinda went 'That's not my problem...it's yours' when you had your overlords just fly away to avoid the issue mostly. Made the other teams deal with the two fortresses instead...very nice.

Idk if you know him or are aware of him but this could be a great replay to send to a Mecha creator named Cobrak Strategy. Esp with that last round where you essentially just looked at the Raid Boss forts and said "👀 Not my problem." And went elsewhere with your boat fleet.

from the little i have played and seen it seems like hackers are bonkers. you can steal the A.I.'s super units and use them against the other players.
