Just showed the short clip of the song to my husband. He recently decided to choose everlasting life instead of death from many years of addiction and defiant behavior. God told him after a binge day to "choose now". God does answer prayers , even if they are just rivers of tears from the addict's family's eyes.

When this song released a couple days ago I cried because it made me think of my oldest son and how grateful I am that God has spared him. Living drug free and sober for over 2 years, gainfully employed by a major company! God showing up! That’s a testimony right there!
My daughter just made two years sober from alcohol addiction! She stopped meth the day she discovered she was pregnant with her youngest, who will be seventeen next month!
My daughter sent me this song today (8/31) while in rehab. 8 months 19 days clean after 12 yrs of addiction and loss. Her fiance od'd, but it wasn't enough to make her quit. 4 yrs later, she'd lost everything, and everyone, worst of all, her son. She was given the choice of jail or rehab. Praise God for His grace and mercy.
I have fought addiction most of my life. Homeless living on the streets. Family & friends were losing hope. The greatest thing they did for me is to pray & have faith in Jesus that one day HE would deliver me out of darkness. Today I'm here to say prayer is powerful. HE never left me while in my darkest days. HE waited patiently for me to see how much HE loves me, who HE is & who I am in HIS eyes. Today I'm so thankful for HIS grace, mercy & love. I walk in HIS light.

🙌AMEN JESUS 🙌 I'm 2 years 5 months clean and sober , it took me 34 years to get to where I am today , today I'm headed to my 2nd Christian women's ministry retreat in Gulf Shores, Alabama 🙌 I wouldn't have made it this far in my recovery journey without a spiritual walk/relationship with God 🙌 I'm grateful for the miracles God has performed in my life , grateful for the blessings , taking back all the devil stole from me and giving him a black eye 🙌 I praise Jesus🙌 my life is also living proof of what God can do 🙌💞❤️🙏🙏🙌🙌💞💞

This song resonates with me. Not only because of my addiction to alcohol, but also because of the curse of abuse I grew up with... I didn't want my children to have the life I had... I lost my oldest son 8 years ago on Labor Day. He suffered from epilepsy which took his life that day. He used Marijuana in hopes that it would keep him from having seizures. I know I will see him again in heaven.. Without my lord, Jesus Christ, I wouldn't be able to go on... I pray for everyone who has ever fought addiction and loss.

I feel this song so much. Not so much for addiction although I have fought that too! I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 28 years old in 2021 after losing my brother to lung cancer a couple years before. But here I am with a new baby to add to the other 2 I have. I am healthy and I am strong and I owe it all to God! I thank him everyday for allowing me to be here! November makes 2 years of remission! I hold on strong to my faith! God is so good!
