@@reecemorton4649 It seems like it would be a glorious job, but it's not as lucrative as you would think it is for most of the pros. I grew up less than 5 miles from this lake. When I was in highschool, I bagged & carried out groceries for a lot of them when they came into town to get supplies. I takes a special kind of person to survive in the pro fishing world. Even top level pros split housing costs at every tournament to help keep costs down. They don't get paid to fish, they get paid to promote their sponsors. It's also not just fishing. They have to do PR appearances at events, seminars & a lot of other stuff to keep sponsors happy. They never know when they might just get dropped from a sponsor for not performing well either. It's hard on their family & relationships, etc.
The best thing about watching his videos is he always keeps a smile on my face and always makes me laugh, whenever I’m not having any luck where I fish I always look to his videos to see what I’m ether doing wrong or what I can fix.

Sonny Caudill if you’re right handed, keep the rod in your left hand and the bait in your right. Then you don’t have to switch hands. Unknowingly, I learned to do it that way from the beginning before I knew the benefit of it. It’s so your ready if they hit it right off the bat. As far as having the line in your hand like MDs doin in the video, I need to learn how to do that lol

I went down and fished a few days the week before you all got there. There was zero green in the lake and nothing green on the bank. It's amazing how much greened up and how many fish flooded the bank in less than a weeks time. I am definitely going back there again. I hope you guys fish it again next year too. Wow! This was some awesome fishing. I've got a friend that I went to Quitman HS with that is a guides on Fork. He knows that lake like the back of his hand & I don't think I've ever seen him pull off a day like that before. I love Fork, but she can be fickle. The bite will be on fire one day & cold as ice the next. Glad you got to experience it like this & that you had an amazing trip your first time there. It would have been nice to see you get the win after all that work though. If that spot is where I think it is, our family farm is about 5 to 6 miles from where you were fishing. Hard to tell though, so much has changed since I've been out there over the last few years. There are so many good nooks & crannies in that lake to fish. Oh, and yeah those were Nutria. The whole area over by Coffee Creek & Crane Lake is loaded with them stinking wannabe beavers. LOL

I just subbed to your channel today #1 you have such a great positive attitude and an a nice guy #2 I Had to see how you caught all those Big Bass unreal day of bass fishing for sure!! I've fished LF a few times and every cast could be a new state record. I hooked a Huge Bass on a rattle trap early spring and it straightened the treble hooks out!! Unbelievable power of those LF bass!
