Awesome video and an equally awesome song! This was so YOU, Andy. Lol, I loved it! The song felt so strongly reminiscent of the MTV era in the 80's. It was exciting to see you walk into Darren's studio. What is it about that studio that invokes such joy? Lol, who knows, but it was awesome seeing you there with Darren. And there is so much going on in the video, wow! The production was incredible. So fun! I need to watch it many times just to examine everything that is going on. And the part towards the end when the video keeps "flashing" and showing different angles of the car, that reminds me of something that I just can't put my finger on. The outdoor scenes were incredible. Hector in the back with his replica on the dash, so funny. I really could go on and on, lol. The ending was hilarious! This was a brilliant rocking production (high five, Peadar!) and such a catchy song. Thanks for bringing us along on your cool journey, Andy. Absolutely FABULOUS, Andy!!! Very 'neat' - how the number 'tells' viewers a little about your long and very interesting singing career and 'travels'..... So happy to see more of your unbelievable performances!!! Your version of "Rainy Night in Georgia" was especially wonderful........And.....your sweet little dog in some of your videos was especially meaningful to me. (I love, and always cherish them, too.) Could I please ask you again - would it be possible for you to try Tom Jones's legendary signature hit "It's Not Unusual"?? YOU'RE the ONLY one on this earth who could very faithfully and very EXCITINGLY - do it very well, and I'm sure all of us fans and admirers of your absolutely AMAZING vocal abilities and power and on-stage charisma - would be just thrilled to see and hear you do it.....!!! I do realize, though - that it would take some careful planning, rehearsal, and securing a good brass section and possibly Dave Ross with his Korg Kronos for the great Hammond B3 backup keys, etc. You'd be just GREAT re-creating the huge hit that kicked off and secured - Tom's 50+ year long singing and performing career, and I know he would be very honored and flattered to have you do it...... *I could also see you doing some of Elvis's great movie hits - in particular - 'Spinout" (from the '66 film), and especially 'Roustabout' (from the '64 film) - as YOU could be riding along on your Harley just as Elvis is riding along on his Honda, at the start of the film, down a nice country road - singing the very 'catchy' song as he rides..... at the opening of the film!! You'd be GREAT doing just that!!! Please also consider these two other numbers as well....(take a peak, if you could - at the clips of Elvis doing these very well written 'audience grabbing' tunes, as see how they would be 'tailor made' for YOU!!! As an added note - as good as these two Elvis numbers were - they are sadly - never performed by his 'impersonators'. Such a shame.... As always - My Very Best Wishes go out to you and yours, and your wonderful dog, Greg from MA USA .

Hello again, Andy. It seems that the world is now in a constant 'battle of the bands' to be the best...... I've seen all the best cover groups of the present - HSCC, The Lexington Lab band, The Feelgood Orchestra, Leonid and Friends, etc. All of them are performing 'similar' music and hits from days gone by. The person(s) who is going to beat them all out or at least give them a run for the money - has to be a little different, a little bolder, and most importantly - perform big hits NOT covered by the 'other' bands.....You are just that person for the job!! I guarantee (and I'm never wrong - where the most popular hit songs and performers are concerned) that you can take the 'lead' over everyone by performing the big hits of Tom Jones and Elvis, as I've mentioned before.....since no one dares to touch them both, at least up to this point in time. For Tom - I've already mentioned what a great cover of 'It's Not Unusual' could do for you, as well as his 'In Style and Rhythm' (view the 2009 AVO Session on RUclips), but making sure that all of those have a 'strong', 'driving' Steve Todd (HSCC) type beat, a good brass section, (who's ever left to get hold of), and strong keyboards (Dave Ross (HSCC) would be best if you could secure his services)..... For Elvis - as I mentioned before - 'Spinout', 'Roustabout', as well as 'Big Love, Big Heartache' (Elvis's best ballad, never covered at all, also from the 1964 'Roustabout' film, at the end), as well as 'Pocket Full of Rainbows' - a very beautiful Elvis ballad, ALL of which - YOU (and only YOU!) - could perform easily and win over many viewers with ease!! PLEASE take a 'look' at all of these past hits and other ones I'll be mentioning in a minute, Andy, and you will be very glad you did. Please trust me on this..... Remember - I have 50+ years of personal dedication to always make sure I see only the best performers, and always know which songs will be chart busters, etc., what what performers and which hits have hung on for the longest periods of time and why. *Also - Glen Campbell's huge hits - 'By the Time I get to Phoenix', 'Southern Nights", and especially - the beautiful 'Wichita Lineman'......not forgetting - 'Gentle on My Mind'........ Another great performer - Lou Rawls with his chart topping hit - 'You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine'..... Lastly - The Association's gigantic hit (still played over and over) - 'Cherish'..... Still another well loved, fine performer, now gone - Dennis Yost and the Classics IV - 'Spooky', 'Stormy"...... Even Tommy James and the Shondells great classic hit - 'Crystal Blue Persuasion' ....... You could do them all, Andy!! And become really, really, 'BIG', worldwide!! Andy, love the song and as usual, your vocals are spot on. It certainly has the feel of a Nashville tune, something along the lines of what Brooks & Dunn would have scored a hit with. To make a good thing even "more country" lay down a pedal steel track or a fiddle rather than having the sax in there. No offense to the sax man of course. Now as for the car....not sure where you came up with that one in Australia but two thumbs up on highlighting one of Detroit's finest. Cheers.....

Wow- a real soul rock singer - reminds me chris rea "road to hell" Andy you have the rock energy in the vocals and song delivery, a true rocker the rock vibe and the rhythm just feeds to the bones.
It says in the credits that Andy wrote it. 🙂 I'm assuming it's brand new but I don't really know. I've played it so much it's stuck in my head now, lol.
Hi David, yes I hung out on the Broadway on numerous visits sitting in with various bands and Artists (Johnny Hiland being my favourite). On one visit, I entered a Talent competition at the Nashville Palace & had an absolute ball!
Hi Sally, thanks for your interest. No, I'm no longer part of HSCC. I resigned quite some time ago last year. Again, thanks for your interest and support. Regards, Andy.
Well I been rockin’ ‘em hard in Memphis, then I rocked ‘em way out West
I peeled the paint off the walls in Texas, where I boogied on with the best
I sang the blues up in Chicago, got to stompin’ down in New Orleans
Sang a Hillbilly tune with a toothless goon in a pepper field in Abilene
It don’t matter if I’m singin’ Honky Tonk, or Blues that are gnarly & mean
Cos this Big Daddy, arrives in a Caddy lookin like a cat that licked the cream
Sang with some Doo Wop cats wearin apple jack hats around a 55 gal drum
Sat in on a jam with little Folk band, singing Crosby Stills Nash & Young
Lived behind a beach Diner in North Carolina where we twanged on a Jaguar
Sipped a Single Malt with a fine Cobalt singin’ Jazz in a basement bar
While the cats are groovin’ ‘n they’re playin it smooth ‘n ev’bodys in the vibe
This Big Daddy will keep it swingin’ steady, we gonna set the room on fire
When the music’s crankin’ youd best be bankin ‘on the word gettin around town
You know the joint be jumpin’ the music’s pumpin’ cos Big Daddy’s layin’ it down
Well you better get ready, sit down hold steady, this is how we gonna roll
Cos Big Caddy Daddy keeps it rock steady, singin’ Rhythm Blues ‘n Soul
Singin’ old Soul toons ‘n Delta Blues on a National made ‘a tin
Sippin’ corn liquor with a fancy picker who was strummin on a Mandolin
Slim Jim Dandy was pretty damn handy with a fiddle and a smilin’ face
We had lil’ Jack Horner standing in the corner, pluckin’ Bull Fiddle Bass
Cos when you jammin’ wth a band that’s’ bangin’s like a train rollin’ down the track
This Big Daddy arrives rockin’ ready in his sweet ol Cadillac

Soooo...did you visit Nashville? If you did I don't know how I missed you!
Hi David, yes I hung out on the Broadway on numerous visits sitting in with various bands and Artists (Johnny Hiland being my favourite). On one visit, I entered a Talent competition at the Nashville Palace & had an absolute ball!
Wondering if Andy is accompanying the band when they come to Perth in May? Cheers
Hi Sally, thanks for your interest. No, I'm no longer part of HSCC. I resigned quite some time ago last year. Again, thanks for your interest and support. Regards, Andy.
Darren (formerly from HSCC) has started a new band group called Singitlive and Andy sings with them too
