Thanks for making it so clear, by showing the pin end in close up. I had watched other clips about blind removal and I had been trying to turn the knurled wheel the wrong way. 👍
Thanks so much for this video. As a 5ft tall 81 year old female I was really struggling to remove the roller blind from my ranch slider but once I saw your video and knew how to unlock it from the bracket I had the confidence to give it a go and a few minutes later it was down and stashed away. Thanks again.
Dude. Awesome. Thank you so much. I think you saved me about an hour of messing about. I even used the clockwise extension (I had installed the blind brackets too tight, and then over corrected). Cheers.
Thank you so much brilliant video explains what i need to do. My blind is sunout and i want a blockout change over so i need to remove the blind and get it done. This video has done this many thanks
Thanks I have a roller blind that is sunshade and i want to change the skin how can i do this myself? This video has shown me how to remove a blind as all my life we have had vertical blinds all throughout the home
Hi Noeleen, Changing the skin can be a little tricky to do yourself. If you give us a call on 1300 664 257 Monday-Friday during business hours, our team will do their best to offer some advice. We look forward to talking to you!
Hi Mike, like some other commenters here, making the most of the current stay-indoors situation and getting some long overdue painting complete. Got stuck trying to get the blinds down until I found this video. Thank you!
Hey Mike, you not only taught me how to take a blind down and change a chain, but more importantly how to Google/RUclips search before break the things. Thanks for that 👍
Maybe I'm looking back-to-front, but you say turn the blind in the anti-clockwise direction, yet seem to turn it up towards the window (clockwise) rather than down (anti-clockwise)??
Excellent Boss Dog! We're glad we could be of help, and save you heaps of time too. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Have a great afternoon! :-)
The blind in our house doesn't seem to have a wheel or any spring loaded mechanism. I don't know if some cheap blinds just have no mechanism and are designed to be taken down entirely...
Hi Anrei, Well that makes it interesting doesn't it? Blinds can be made differently, and may not have all the same components that ours do. Hopefully you managed to remove the blind though and do what you needed to do. Please let us know if we can be of any help at any stage. Regards, ~iSeekBlinds
Hi Dave, it definitely works for our roller blinds which we manufacture with Rollease acmeda components. This however could vary depending on different supplier components used. Cheers iseekblinds
Hi Mike, one of my blinds has stopped working (motorised) and I was going to try to remove it to see if I could understand what was wrong. I tried to turn the cog anti-clockwise but it's exceptionally difficult to move and I don't want to force it. Is there anything can do? It's stuck in the closed position.
Hi Graeme. Sorry to hear you are having issues with your motorised blinds. Are these 240v or battery? if Battery I assume you have charged them? To best rectify this issue can I ask that you email sales@iseekblinds.com.au and attention the email to Noel or you can give him a buzz during office hours Mon-Fri and he'll be able to talk you through your options. 1300 664 257. Thanks! Rebecca
@@iseekblinds Thanks Rebecca, I received a call yesterday and was talked through testing the blind to see if it was faulty. I was very impressed with both the call (looked me up from my old order details) and the fact that I have already been sent out a replacement motor under warranty! I also now know which way is anti clockwise after my tutorial and was able to remove the blind😜. Great product and great service!
Hi there, So sorry for our delayed reply to your comment. If you still require assistance, please contact our team on 1300 664 257 or sales@iseekblinds.com.au and one of our team will endeavour to assist. Thanks, ~iSeekBlinds

Urgh the wheel WILL NOT move and it’s stuck, the other end with the chain is in the wrong position and I need to take the whole thing out and start again. So frustrating
After struggling to remove a blind I watched your video and 1 minute later it was off! Thank you for being a lifesaver
Thanks for making it so clear, by showing the pin end in close up. I had watched other clips about blind removal and I had been trying to turn the knurled wheel the wrong way. 👍

Thanks Siavash!
What do you do when the pin won’t come out of the slot? I see the pin retract but it’s not enough..
How many times I’ve struggled with this and never bothered to look it up lol
Glad it helped
Is this a standard set- up for all shades? Rv shades included. Seems like almost anything dealing with an RV is not standardized.

Not necessarily - they just help keep the blind clean as you're handling it.
Thanks,

Can’t seem to turn that wheel
