Thank you so much professor! this video helped me alot. Where do you teach? I wish if you keep going with the RUclips videos. I’ve been searching for many channels, but the thing I liked it the most about yours that you try to immediately get to the point without complicating the info.

Hi, please help I'm very confused. So I'm doing this study to evaluate the effect of online teaching on the stress, anxiety and burnout of teachers during the pandemic. Therefore, the independent variable here should be online teaching and dependent would be stress, anxiety and burnout (please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm new to this). Secondly, sonce I collected data through questionnaire, to assess it in SPSS, I'll have to take the sum total of each questionnaire and then evaluate it to find the relationship, right?
Yes, the independent variable is Online teaching. In this case, you will be able to assess its impact on Stress or anxiety, or burnout. I didn't understand your second question. What you can do, if you have the same scale for the three variables Stress, anxiety, and burnout, you can calculate the sum for each respondent to create one variable that represents the three. In this case, you have to add internal reliability discussion and analysis (example: the Cronbach alpha)
@@zotti22 Hi, thank you so much for the response. Actually my second question was that if I want to perform descriptive analysis on my data then how do I proceed with it, like where do I start? I have my data scored from the three questionnaires I used in my survey, but I don't know what to do next. I'm sorry if it sounds confusing but I'm just too confused, my guide just left us all on our own.
How do you choose which type of data to run the test .for example there is gender , age, school and religion then how do u choose which one to run the descriptive test ???
The choice of the explanatory variables in your model should be based on Theory or Data driven. In both cases, you have to write your hypotheses. Example: Gender has an effect on performance. We expect that women have higher GPA. You can also try the Stepwise technique (available in SPSS) if you have many variables.
got me started alot quicker than other guides, thx!
happy to hear that
I have learnt something new today
