Hello, with the help of your guide, I closed the 109 pit. I can't understand why doomsbringer, I barely closed 100 with him. Grandfather 109 with time to spare (there is a video). Thanks for the guide, I wonder if I can close the pit with the finished build.
@ryanjackson8799 so, I'm playing the similar build and here's what I did to convenient play: - while I didn't have shroud mythic I had a chest with GA in life per 5 second and it helps) you can easier group mobs - I'm using blood mist with node that summons corpse - take nodes that gives you fortify (it could be lucky hit or corpse consumption. i personally take corpse consumption) - flower witch craft, but it seems it does nothing - the most important part - you must to be tanky. you should prefer tank nodes to dmg nodes, otherwise you dead and don't do dmg. so cap your resistances (use skeletal sacrifice if no res on gear), take dmg reduction and increase healing nodes from paragon board - I also take cdr nodes for prison. if no prison you probably dead. - sometimes I run with blood wave for example in pits. so, here's my gameplay loop (note: I'm using grandfather and currently run pit 80-85, need to masterwork gear to go higher): because I'm a bit tanky i'm running through mobs and try to group them, if I feel that i'm in dangerous situation i'm using blood mist. the blood mist spawns corpse so I firstly use corpse tendrils then prison (with cdr nodes and decripify it cooldowns almost instant) and then spam bone spear/prison/tendrils again and again. with the heal nodes it's enough even with grandfather. and if the situation is dangerous again I'm just using my panic button Blood Mist I've also played with iron maiden curse in runes. seems also working. Main point - be tanky. cap your res, armor, dmg reduction so you can run a lot and group monsters. then tendrils/prison/spear repeat and one more - it seems this build is only viable in pits. for example in hordes it's just not convenient. in open world it also not convenient because monster dies from other players before you use prison etc with the armory enabled I just have 2 builds: - wave of mud - which just do abnormal dmg in gear from the ground. if I need to run hordes I just switch to this build with no items and do my things. you don't even need to masterwork it) - bone spear - the build for the soul and fun that I want to min/max experiment with and so on UPD: currently testing lucky hit to freeze temper. with the number of hits it seems working in pits. I'm only have one temper right now. gonna add one more. if it will be consistent I assume it's better then tendrils size
Another suggestion is to get chance to cast bone spear twice to 100% since each hit with BS should heal you for 5% it will basically erase the life drain of the unique pants as long as your hitting your shots

What else can we use to help with sustaining health if we don't have doombringer? Would Lucky hit to heal still work on legendary gear?

the problem with this, all 4 spears have to overpower or you are negative still and thats tough
Why no starless skies? 50x buff crit and attack speed ?
@78thefonz it's not a 50x crit dmg it's a 50x dmg which is the sane as another 50 multi but you cant get the crit dmg which scales deathless directly
Do you think blood spear on bone mages would be viable?
@medalliondnb sadly they don't overpower in the prison I did report this to the devs

I have doombringer with dam red and life regen ga and can't die:) Doom really solves this problem
