Great stuff Greg! I love the idea of "thinking pods". It's crazy how effective long walks are for idea generation. I can't go a day without a long walk. Its like a lost art in the age of distraction!
Thanks for sharing these ideas. I found it quite helpful - not the long shower thing as i can fall asleep there, but the read fewer and review more suggestions. I have the collect dots disease, and those two practices form a good counterbalance. I'm experimenting now with just one nonfiction and one fiction book at a time. Taking the time to enjoy and digest them. More time reviewing my notes for zettle material, and more time linking in the idea garden. Again, thanks.
Last year I stumbled across Cal Newports podcast and have become completely obsessed with it. This video covers a lot of thinking as well. Are you familiar with his work (books, podcast and articles)? Thanks
Greg, great video and I also liked your book notes guide. Had a quick question on that. You mention quotes and sparks and then also ‘thoughts’. Are thoughts and sparks the same thing or different? Just got a little confused on that transition. Thx!
"Review more than you capture" - great mantra.
Thanks for this. For me, the missing pieces in my practice are Review and Reflect.

Thanks man. 1000% agree!
Couldn’t agree more about walking
This was great information. Instead of scrolling social media, scroll through my notes. That was key for me.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this video! I absolutely love this kind of content.
Glad it was helpful. I enjoyed making it!

Love the idea of 1 book of each non-fiction and fiction.
Great video, Greg. Thank you for the inspiration. BTW, what app did you use to construct your presentation? Amazing clarity and organization...
Thank you! I used Figjam (www.figma.com/figjam/) from Figma.
@@Greg_Wheeler How does Figjam compare to Miro, in your opinion? I've started looking into both
@@tc11487 I haven't looked into Miro yet. But may be a future video idea!

I am! Love Cal Newport's stuff. I still wanna read his latest Slow Productivity.
Hey Greg, you inspired me again. I need to find my thinking pod ASAP :-)
Yes! 👊🏼

Thanks! Good question. Yes, sparks are thoughts/ideas I have when reading a book. Sorry for the confusion there.
Thx! That is what I thought. I keep working on my book notes workflow so wanted to make sure I understood. Keep up the great work!
Hi Greg, your share is excellent. I want to ask if there is any potential to cooperate Lattics product?
