thank you for playing my modpack, I think the problem with command running and item drops is a tps issue, the barrier thing is a feature from a mod, just kill the wizards to fix that
No problem, was a great modpack! And someone told me about wizards but never saw them spawn. Planning to try this again another time
Im not sure if you can kill the wizards because they never spawned due to the tps. Is the modpack still like this because I kinda want to try it
@@offswitch43 I will be attempting it again, but feel free to try it yourself. I would assume not much changed as idk how one could fix this.
@@offswitch43 When I played it, the default difficulty was peaceful. That might have been the reason that no wizardrs spawned.
@@HeDeAnTheonlyoneDefinitely gonna try this modpack again, as that could of been what happened to me.
To explain the border that you couldn't pass, the structure you went to with the chest on top is from Electroblob's Wizardry which spawns a wizard. To remove the border you either need to die or kill the wizard, killing the wizard allows you to open the loot chest. Not sure why the wizard didn't spawn though, maybe it spawned underground or something. Also you couldn't run commands because you didn't have cheats enabled, if you select "Open To Lan" you can then choose to enable cheats if you forget to enable it on the world creation screen.
What happened was they didn’t spawn due to tps lag! I actually made a pt 2 and ran into them, with them actually spawning and absolutely obliterating me lmao. Thanks!
I hope the modpack creator manages to make this modpack playable somehow

You didn't mess up anything when allocating more RAM. Minecraft automatically lowers it from the amount you actually type in to allocate.

So according to the GUI theres at least 168.000 items/blocks in the modpack. Thats massive, enough content for a lifetime.

i made a modpack thats still in patching phase but nearly done on 1.20.1 with 550 mods im naming it immersionary
it still maintains the minecraft feel while adding and changing basically everything

@@gmoneyyx2 yeah also it runs really well im able to run it on a i7-2600 and 8gb of ram my gpu is a gtx 1080 and it lets me use shaders with the pack
its at 600 mods now and it only takes 3 mins at most to load up

greedycraft is a lite alternative and has like more than 100 mods (mega modpack)
I’ve played it before, it’s a solid pack! I think my favorite large pack tho is omega adventure pack, or TNP Limitless
I love things like better Minecraft plus but it lacks certain mods like chipped or more storage

My man who plays a 1.12.2 modpack in 2023. Modern mods are much higher quality and all run on the latest versions 1.12.2 is 2017. I guess the goal of this modpack was to get the most mods possible so thats probably why its such an old version but playability is near 0%.
Yeah, exactly why. And believe it or not, old modpacks are still plenty popular. I know a few that go back as far as 1.7.10. But you are right, this older version is for as many mods as possible. Luckily tho, playability in the recent versions and updates have skyrocketed. TPS is way down and frames are WAY WAY up!

for any minecraft modpack iit cant use more than somthing like 18 gigabites of ram higher than that and it does funtionally nothing it would run better if you ran more storage dedicated to the modpack instead of ram
is there a better way to play modded minecraft than curseforge? I want to get into it but i’ve heard curseforge isnt that good and my game crashes when I play with a lot of mods
Curseforge is fine. There’s a few people who don’t like it for reasons, but there are so many mod packs on it and it runs well for the most part. There are tons of other launchers out there tho if u choose to go another path, such as technic, atlauncher, and a bunch more. Personally curseforge gets the job done for me, but feel free to look around.

To be fair, you need mostly a good cpu and amount of RAM for this.
my go to self made modpack has 320 mods. uses a gentle 7.5 gb of ram xD

@@spookay69 True lol, although a 3070 is capable of shaders, even in this pack if they arent too bad. GPU will be underutilised asf in this pack and Optifine is actually compatible with the newest release of this modpack (somehow), so may be worth a shot as long as ur temps dont die lmao

You know the RUclips Minecraft rules, you now have to at least play till you killed the ender dragon and document your struggle with us. Would be super entertaining if you continue playing blindly not reading up on any of the mods you dont know.
I have been in contact with the modpack creator to try and make it playable. Progress is good so far and I plan more videos of my suffering of this pack lmao. Potentially even a 100 days similar to what socksfor1 did

I have 1TB of ram and a AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7980X 64-Core, 128-Thread Processor my computer still has a bit of lag when running this shit it’s not super noticeable well it’s not noticeable at all but if you look at the FPS on my computer when running this it jumps here and there like it jumps down to like 90 FPS when I should be at max the whole time

What cpu do you have? I noticed your CPU usage was at 100% most of the time. Might have been why your frames were a little low. Seems like your cpu was holding back frames to your graphics card
I have a i5 12600kf, and it’s going to be locked at 100%. Both my cpu and ram get pushed to their limit with this pack. Never thought I would use 99% of 64GB of ram lmaoo

Packs like These are way easier to launch in an optimized Java environment like eclipse temurin etc.
Also you should never use curseforge as the standart launcher can't handle mods that good.

@@ncredibledark7926 The modpack creator has been updating it very often and I have had a sneak peek of the latest releases. The tps lag is somehow almost gone and frames are up to 100. Will hopefully be making another vid on this very soon

also 1.12.2 is a horible version to run extreme amounts of mods becuase it loads them in a diffrent order than 1.7.10 and newer version you would be better of with 1.16.5 that runs modpacks peak

@@gmoneyyx2 I did! I loaded in on 16gb! I had the same issues as you though, everything was delayed, nothing was working. I did eventually chop a tree and make a house after i think, 4 hours? then I switched to my modpack xd I was running it on the lowest render distance + graphics and had given it alot of optimisation mods, texfix, foamfix, etc you name it, i probably installed it. good video my dude, love ur shit :) Try out Roguelike Dungeons and Adventures 2! :) It's a 1.16.5 version and its amazing.

it didnt take that long... than says it took 30 minutes... uh no thanks.. i like my small modpacks that load up in like 2 minutes on 1.20 heh as i alredy updated my world to use the mods i normaly use sense they update pretty fast
