Central vacuums have always facilitated me, unfortunately I have lived in rentals for the past 15 years with my parents. Not only that but I am disabled and live on a fixed income. The closest I’ll get to a central vac is my Kirby’s that I got cheap or free but that’s okay. Thank you for sharing your experience with a brand new accessory kit. I don’t think I’ve ever see an unboxing video of one of these before 🙂
You're going to love that EBK250...the headlight and brushroll are amazing on hard floors, and being able to go straight from rugs to hard floors is super nice. BTW that hose is indeed a genuine Plastiflex. Great quality kit.
Nice! My Vacuflo came with the Edge powerhead kit which uses the Wessel Werk EBK360 powerhead in white. It's such a great cleaner. One thing I'd recommend doing it storing the hose in large loops. Mine came out of the box with a kink that seemed to linger forever.
@@MH-bl8dl i’m going to be purchasing a EBK 360 as well. Surprisingly they are pretty cheap on Amazon. I believe you can get a whole central vacuum kit just like I have minus the Tacony power nozzle but with a EBK 360 for less than $400. I also plan on getting the lindhaus as well. Too bad it doesn’t have a head light.
Yay, you’re still alive haha. Glad to see you back. You will love the central vac. I absolutely love them. I used a beam system with the rug master for a long time. I got tired of lugging around the hose though and so use the hide a hose with the battery operated EBK360.
@@nicko5945 i’ll explain more in my video when I show my OVO unit. I don’t live anywhere near a central vacuum installer. I’m a little over an hour away from a riccar central vacuum dealer, however, they do not install. They only sell the power units. So for me, it’s more of a hassle to try and create enough piping to house a hide a hose.
@@JohnSmithNE3478 oh yeah I totally understand. Being that far away you would have to do it yourself likely. So you definitely chose the best setup IMO with what ya have. I also love the extra splurge of the EBK250. I’ve loved mine since it’s a lot of fun to use.
@@nicko5945 me too! Oddly, It seemed as though some of the EBK 250s did not advertise that they came with both brush rolls. I’m not sure if that is an extra purchase? But the retailer I purchased mine from specifically stated that it came with both brush rolls. Also do you happen to know who manufactured my hose in the video?
@@JohnSmithNE3478I could be wrong but I believe it’s an H-P products hose. They make a bunch of stuff for central vacs include Vacuflow. I’ve had a number of those hoses and handles and I did trace one of them to H-P. Also congrats on the new house!

@@owenperkins thank you! So the hose is not an HP product?
@@JohnSmithNE3478 basically, yes but no. It's part of the genuine kit, but HP buys all their hoses from Plastiflex (as MD etc do also).

Nice kit. I thought at first you said you paid $800 for the EBK 250 kit.
@@jbt8922 oh no no, 800$ for the prestige pro haha
With the hose you already have you should be able to use your filter, clean EBK 360 with your machine they use the same hose handle
