My husband bought the punch out game from you...Sorry if he ruined your day. He plays the games and doesn’t resell so was just happy to get the chance to play it for £1. Hope you had some better luck this week. I’m sure he’ll be back to buy more and I’ll be standing by holding all of his purchases.
No boot fair stories but.. I once binned a gamecube wave bird wireless controller (complete in mint condition. God knowS why haha .. Didn’t know they were worth so much! Started seeing them on eBay years later and was a little bit gutted but hey
@@EdHunts I brought it from cash converters in like 2006 I think, for less than a fiver boxed. Never actually used it and must of thought it was worth nothing when I binned it. How I was wrong haha
@@EdHunts I was obviously a massive fool back the day haha. I remember going to cash converters pretty much every day after work and buying something random from the games floor it was ridiculously cheap looking back. Anyway I hope someone at the tip went through my rubbish and saved it!
Yeah man always looked for retro games on a subconscious level in charity shops etc. wish i had started consciously alot sooner! The bargains we could of had....
That looked like a proper early start fella, hope you made a bit of cash from it, some good pick ups 👍🏻, sold a game cube bundle about 10 years ago with 3 controllers and about 15 games for £15, then found it on the guys stall 20 mins later for £25 just the console 🤬
A bit of a shame about punch out really with what it goes for but those were really good finds. I always look for things as cheap as possible at car boot sales as well in terms of games and consoles. I was once selling at a car boot and had a walk around and found GTA vice city for PS2 for 50p and tried to sell it on my stall for £2 but it didn't work (it sold for a bit more on ebay later!).
Yeah still wounded about punch out, but easy come easy go. GTA games on ps2 are kinda ten a penny now ive picked up a bunch for 20p, but still retain some value on ebay. Keep on huntin!

@@josh.h. think im going to cry! Wavebirds are possibly my favourite pads on any console, my sister has one but never owned one myself. One day!
