I didn't get paratha, but I got the job when I went for an interview with 8th month pregnancy. And people around me were suggesting that due to pregnancy, I will not get it.
Honestly this is quite true. I landed my first job like this in Dubai. I met a women in the lobby and I told her how nervous I was and she asked me what’s making you nervous, I said everything about an interview, coz I feel conscious to talk big things about me. She’s like don’t worry just say what you like about this job and I was honest to her that it would be my first job and I don’t even know what to expect. I only know I’m a good learner and I’ll give my best to it. She said I’m sure you can crack this interview. Gave me my Wishes and went inside. After sometime I was called for the interview and was taken to the CEO. He said “my mum really liked you and she thinks you are right for the role, so let’s get to the compensation?” This was in 2004. 😊

I had the same interview in 2011... While having tea with the interviewer in the cafeteria of the company, he handed over me the confirmation on the small piece of paper and asked me to show it to HR and take the offer letter 😅.. One of the happiest and surprise day of life!

Never in my career of 10 years have ever met an interviewer who empathised with an interviewee. Yes met some who tried to manipulate and scare and asked uncomfortable questions
I do agree with u😢 in my initial days I was sooo innocent I didn't even get the interviewer ( Male MD ) asking me for an indecent proposal n i didn't even get that by that time. I was like " sir I'm an honest , hard-worker n scincier girl. I will give my 💯. " But he just kept forcing me" ur a girl n u can give me much more than that , only u can give me. Those guys r not capable in that. Just think of it if u seriously need a job n blah blah blah " n I was wondering what can I give him. ( He was a well known guy of town n his firm was a very very prestigious firm in my home town ) . But now I get him n it feels disgusting whenever I recall that interview. I can still remember him he was actually a gentleman but his intentions were totally opposite 😢😢😢 as a lady i can relate with u n feels soo ashamed. Can't even express what it makes me feel now 😡😢

Didn't experience this but once a hiring manager kept smiling during a panel interview. In the end I asked him if he had a question for me? He said "you answered everything spot on, you'll hear from us very soon". After 2 days I got the offer and I cried like anything :)

The most heartwarming interview was with Anupama ma’am, she truly touched my heart! When she brought the seat for me I couldn’t believe my eyes a person in such high designation carrying a chair for an interviewee! The interview went exceptionally well! I felt like home away from home with her! She just such a pleasing personality which truly won my heart. It’s still fresh in my heart. The way she talked to me so calmly and kept encouraging me was so heartwarming. On the second interview with her & the director, she kept encouraging & kept saying good things which was really kind of her! Later I had a email writing test, I was out of breath due to nervousness and Usha MSa the HR assistant offered me water, that was so generous of her and she kept calming me down. Such good souls!!! Met at Dwarikas! Blessed! I hope they are doing great and god is blessing them abundantly as they truly deserve! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you both beautiful ladies for making me so comfortable and encouraging me and calming me down! Lots of love ❤

I remember I met one aunty who was speaking local Bengali in the subway while I was returning from my job end of the day. She had pan (bittle leaves) in her mouth, some red color was oozing out. I pointed and she wiped it away. She was wearing a sari, not a fancy one.. normal sari that my dadi Nani or mom wore during the day time. Then she told me that she worked as CPA for some Fortune 500 corporation in Wall Street. I was so astonished! You could never judge a book by its cover!
I wished I had asked her phone number. She must have had a full life with stores and experience!

I use to stammer and when I went inside and the way all the sbi interviewers supported me and bcoz of that i started speaking properly and got the best marks in my interview....that is the best thing

this happens with me me in multinational company's interview, a person sitting next to, i think he is the friend of an interviewer. he simply ask me some points and i got selected. later on it was revealed that the person was senior hr manager

At start of my carrier when i felt more nervous i somewhat tried to request interviewer to clear me as this job is very much needed but wherever i got weak i was not selected, later i realised interviews are bruthless those people sit there to select also has to prove something to others so for their company they try to select only a strong mentality, technically sound and present person....so later i tried to fake few things and be confident which helped me clear any interview.

I have given approx 14-15 interviews in my career so far. I still remember one of them was in Noida. I was in final round and the whole interview was in Hindi ( for the first time) and that round was for 1 hour approx. Operation Manager has asked me only personal things and shared his as well. Trust me that was the only interview in 10 years time where I was rejected. God bless everyone
