Hey, Em, I just wanted to give you a tip for your jumbo rollers.
I'm a retired hairdresser of 35 years.
I know that roller set well.
Brush your hair into a very high ponytail on top of your head.
Divide the sections into 5. Spray each section lightly with Hairspray before wrapping them around a roller.
Doing it this way will give you volume at the roots as well your ends will be perfectly curled. Wait until your rollers are completely cool to take them out. Remove your ponytail holder, lightly spray the roots with some dry shampoo and massage in. Sweep the hair into place with your fingertips. Masssage balm at the very ends just to tame any frizziness.
Shape hair with your fingers, spray, and you're done
This reminded me of back in the day when Victoria's secret actually sold make up!

I love this look so much!! Absolutely stunning. Honestly, I am getting tired of makeup artists on tiktok who are constantly “you shouldn’t be applying your makeup that way. Don’t do that.” Not every product or every technique works for everyone! Makeup is about expression, not following the made up rules.
Hear hear!!👍. I don’t often do makeup now that I’m in midlife and have dreadful fatigue - but when I’m up to doing makeup I prefer my own methods that give me the best results for my skin at this stage in my life. ☺️🎉
Absolutely!!! Well said. I'm 49, a professional academic and have 2 children. My look must be well polished. I'm also a heavy metal rock chick .. my look is professional, polished but I love sparkles on my eyelids and black nail varnish.

I’ve been using the Maybelline age rewind concealer as foundation over a glowing moisturizer. It looks so good and natural.

@@janfromseattle You’re welcome! It’s the best I’ve used that keeps my skin looking very natural. I use one that is exactly like my skin tone and I don’t bother with a separate concealer. Just make sure you have a dewy base (unless you’re oily then just use whatever base works best for you.) 😊

I think part of the reason makeup artists don't use stick products directly on the face, aside from not wanting to disturb foundation is for placement. You have more control & can keep it only where you want it to create that shadow & really snatch the cheekbone as opposed to a wider area. Even when the blend is easy - it's just not as precise as using the brush or sponge for placement. Edited to add - Emily it would look really nice & bronzy, especially for the VS look if you took some bronzer across your nose as the sun would naturally hit there... just a thought~

Victoria's Secret actually sold the most incredible makeup. That's all I used back in the day. I miss it so much.
Using Emily’s Wants palette to get this look use Prayer blown out in the crease, Oh Heavens in the lid/inner corner and Hobby tight in the crease and bottom lash line. 😊

I love the Ann T. Dote concealer in the little round pan-the cream version. It's so smoothing and doesn't separate or look cakey when you powder it. If it starts to look funky you can just tap it out with your finger and it looks great all over again! The Balm is super underrated all around, in my opinion.

If you have not tried the Danessa Myricks Lightwork 1 highlighting palette you really should. The lightest color is stunning in the inner corner. Love this look you rock it !

I’ve seen a few people use the Ardell 420’s as they are tapered at both ends and cut them in half to use as a half lash. I got some and tried and love this hack. I got a six pack of them and it’s like getting two for the price of one. They aren’t too overwhelming for my eyes and really enhance and lift that outer corner beautifully 😊
