Really inspiring work, Brunon! Listening to this gives me the exact unique vibes I felt reading Lem. Please tell (if it's not a spoiler), am I right in my suspicion that the first minute of the Preview is the main theme of the game? It conveys the whole 'eastern block sci-fi' atmosphere in an engaging and efficient way
I hope the creators of this game will not stop with just one game. I think Stanisław Lem deserves more than an adaption. Someone (Starward Industries, for example) should create a synthesis of Lem's work as a single LemVerse. I wish you best of luck!
I just watched some gameplay and the music in it brought me here. Honestly the music has sold me on buying the game it helped create such an amazing atmosphere. I really hope the soundtrack gets released.
One of my favourite books from the maestro Lem. Ahh, I am soo happy right now. If you, person who reading this never heard or read Stanislav Lem books, please, I beg you, check his work. I recommend starting with "Edem" or "Invincible".
The best book to start your adventure with Lem's literature is imo Tales of Pirx the Pilot, and then the "sequel" (i guess?) Fiasco. Pirx is one of the lighter books, while Fiasco is the complete opposite, and i love how big of a contrast these books make. But yeah, these two you suggested are pretty good too. Invincible is probably my favorite Lem's book, and Eden is really, really good too

Зубодробительнейший экшн, на мой взгляд, с преотличнейшей проработкой всех этих вот концепций 'металлических кристалликов' или как там. (Интересно, как перевести адекватно на английский 'зубодробительнейший' : ). И да, я согласен что убрать Лема из Лема у них запросто может получиться. Будем посмотреть. (Опять же интересно, как это перевести : )

I love the background art. It reminds me of John Harris's sci-fi work. The lonely station amid an unfeeling, vast, hostile landscape fits the music perfectly.

But if you compare 'western' and 'eastern' books of the golden age of sci-fi, well... Works of Lem or Strugatsky bros will easily win in maturity, originality and, most significantly, scientificity of concepts over the stories of their western colleagues, even the best ones like Clarke and Asimov. 'Western' sci-fi tended to just extrapolate current (50s, 60s) trends, while 'eastern' with their pessimistic look on unknowability of the universe were quite ahead of their time. The only reason they (western and eastern masters) are not widely considered as equals is because in the West almost no one knows neither about Lem nor Strugatsky, even less people dig this take on the genre. Hope this game will change that

Anderson, Alfred Bester, Robert A. Heinlein (of course), Henry Kuttner... Maybe I've forgot some of them but that doesn't make them less great. Yes that's the Golden Age. Maybe some of them started from kinda pulp science fiction or in some works fell to that level (Clifford Simak, Henry Kuttner are examples for that) but anyway they're kinda still monuments of sci-fi. And (I agree) great 'eastern' masters have gone some further, adding (in my opinion) to 'science', 'futurism', 'space travels' (and so on) some additional note of humanity and reflection (in a psychological sence) along with artistic complexity and even sophistication. That's why they're great too.

Jedyne, co mnie momentami mierzi, to- o, dziwo!- Astrogator w interpretacji Daniela Olbrychskiego. Często odnoszę wrażenie, że odgrywa na siłę, jakby nie do końca wszedł w postać, w otaczającą go rzeczywistość. Już sam początek i rozkazy wydawane przez Astrogatora w trakcie lądowania na Regis brzmią jak odbębnione na szybko, byle jak. Momentami fikuśnie, jakby zamawiał frytki z colą a nie "sadzał" na obcym globie potężny krążownik "ze stu bez mała ludźmi na pokładzie". No... ale TO też może być moje wyłącznie spostrzeżenie, może zbyt dużo wymagam? Póki co- czekam z niecierpliwością na cyfrową adaptację i spacery po Regis III. Pozdrawiam!
Po tym słuchowisku stwierdziłem, że adaptacja filmowa już mi niepotrzebna 😜 Jeszcze dodam, że oprócz słuchowiska jest do kupienia komiks autorstwa Rafała Mikołajczyka. Czytałem i od razu słuchałem produkcji Audioteki 😉
Ta gra to jest strzał w dziesiątkę dziesięć razy z rzędu.Jestem pewien,że osiągnie sukces Wiedźmina.Później już tylko czekamy na superprodukcję hollywódzką pod batutą Ridleya Scotta albo Krzysia Nolana.👍👍👍👍🙂
Invincible and Eden are my favorite works of Lem. This soundtrack really nicely captures atmosphere of unknown planet, which already has devoured one ship and next is sent to investigate what happened. Hope, we'll see your vision of Rohan's story soon!

This is so great! It's sound like music from first Mass Effect with hints of The Killimandjaro Darkjazz Ensemble. But still it's original and distinctive. Game with music like this can't be bad, SO you have to make it great, Starward.)
This game better not be open world. I want a nice linear plot with a mostly linear map, good voice acting, and a good story. We already got good fuckin music and outstanding visual style so I'll be sad if this game flops. Much support to everyone working on the game, I can't wait to see it.

This is not an adaptation per say, but somewhat of a continuation or a prequel. After all, we're neither from the Invincible, nor the Condor.

Invincible and Eden are my favorite works of Lem. This soundtrack really nicely captures atmosphere of unknown planet, which already has devoured one ship and next is sent to investigate what happened. Hope, we'll see your vision of Rohan's story soon!

This is so great! It's sound like music from first Mass Effect with hints of The Killimandjaro Darkjazz Ensemble. But still it's original and distinctive. Game with music like this can't be bad, SO you have to make it great, Starward.)
This game better not be open world. I want a nice linear plot with a mostly linear map, good voice acting, and a good story. We already got good fuckin music and outstanding visual style so I'll be sad if this game flops. Much support to everyone working on the game, I can't wait to see it.
